Ji-hoon's phone vibrated.
Another unknown message:
You need to find me.
This time, it didn't feel like a warning.
It felt like a cry for help.
"What exactly am I supposed to find? And how?"
The other Ji-hoon pointed—to the pencil.
Ji-hoon stared at the blood-red tip.
"This?"
Then, a gesture—toward his desk drawer.
Inside: a red folder marked Personal.
One photo.
Ji-hoon and an unfamiliar woman.
He couldn't remember her.
The back of the photo read:
December 25, 2024. The Last Christmas.
"Who… is this?" Ji-hoon asked.
The other Ji-hoon's smile faded.
"She's the person you forgot."
Why couldn't he remember her?
Why did the words Last Christmas make his chest ache?
Before he could ask again—
The office door creaked open.
Ji-hoon turned.
Eun-young stood in the doorway.
"Ji-hoon? What are you doing here at this hour?"
Ji-hoon blinked.
The other Ji-hoon was gone.
