In the shuttle bay.
The special Falcon aircraft was preparing for a space journey to the planet War World. It was a flat space shuttle in the shape of a triangle, which contained great military power. It could hold an entire team of superheroes, ready to travel long distances and even live together. The Justice League used it many times for space travel and occasionally for battles in the sky.
This plane meant far more to Diana than to others, because her sisters' lives had once been saved thanks to this ship. One of Diana's favorite feats was a direct collision with Doomsday himself during a furious Valkyrie battle on Themyscira. The ship crashed at full speed into the monster's titanically strong flesh and miraculously survived the clawed paws tearing entire planets apart. Diana was reluctant to part with Falcon, bestowing upon him the victorious title of "Survivor." She kept giving the old Falcon to her to fix up as a tribute and refused to write it off. It wasn't the newest model, but it had enough power to beat the best technology in most countries, including America itself.
As it turned out later, Diana's decision was the right one. Recently, the Justice League had been getting involved in space battles more and more often, and so they had a shortage of ships capable of long-distance space travel. Fortunately, the Falcon was one of them. They needed to save every working combat-ready ship for possible encounters with space invaders.
And so having prepared her "boy" for the responsible journey, Diana finally relaxed.
«Kara, how long do I have to wait for you? - Diana asked.
«I'm on it!
«I've finished all the preparations, even if something goes wrong, we can get back quickly. I hope Will wasn't too worried.
As Diana spoke, suddenly the Falcon behind her flew off the floors of the Observation Tower, its powerful engines rumbling, its walls shaking. The gate leading to the open space through the tunnel separating base and space opened, and the Falcon... flew straight out to the stars while Diana's eye twitched.
«What's going on? - Kara shouted.
«I don't know!
Diana ran to the terminal to block the Falcon's departure, but to her dismay she found that access to the controls was completely blocked. A huge red "Access Denied" window popped up all over the screen, and soon an exhausted Diana was watching the Falcon make a high-speed jump into open space.
"My baby..."
«Denied access, you say? - Diana clenched her fist and hissed.

Beautiful stars flashed before his eyes every now and then on an interesting space journey. Will sat back in his chair and gazed blissfully into the distant space for a few minutes before the realization came to him. Or rather, it hit him like a boiling kettle on the head, but it took a while for the shock to wear off his fuming head.
«Are you out of your mind?!
«What, isn't this fun? - Vanessa grinned.
«What the fuck, I'm asking you! You said we'd wait for them on the ship to say goodbye!
«Ha ha ha! - she laughed until she was in tears, holding her stomach," How naive you are, Willard Light!
«You're the fool! What does being naive have to do with it?! I didn't think you were dumb enough to steal a Justice League ship and fly off into outer space. You're not stupid, are you?! I take back all my good thoughts about you, you're fucking stupid! Turn this jalopy back around now!
«Good thoughts? - Vanessa arched an eyebrow incredulously as she continued laughing, and when she was done, she poked Will in the chest with her finger. - You're lucky Diana didn't hear that. She'd have ripped your balls off for her "favorite boy." Also, you obviously didn't know who you were messing with, Willard Light. I'm one of the few people who can hack into the Watchtower system. Even Lex Luthor is a dumbass when it comes to hacking," she said proudly.
Will blinked, staring at the smug Vanessa like a complete fool. Will sighed heavily, wishing he'd kicked her ass and wished he'd done it sooner. Maybe Vanessa had been right and should have listened to her words back in the ring, he should have treated her so well. He leaned back in his seat and held his head.
"Well, well, well, wait a minute, I couldn't even think of such a thing! So she really is smarter than Lux Luthor?! That's a serious miscalculation Will, I thought she couldn't pull off what she did and she actually did it!"
It's like entrusting the remote control of an atomic bomb to a child, one press and the whole world is fucked.
And the rascal did it without him noticing. He even believed her, and she was so convincing! She led him to the ship under beautiful pretexts, like a kind help with the search for planets, and then she stabbed him in the back!
«You may know more about computers than Luthor, but you're smarter than you, you fucking idiot! Turn around, I'm telling you! Before it's too late, you could get me in big trouble!
"I'm not going to ruin my relationship with the League because of her antics!"
«Relax, I'll take the blame. No one would ever believe you could hack into the Watchtower network.
Suddenly, they both stopped talking and glanced at each other. They were probably the only people in this universe (besides Batman) who knew that Willard Light wasn't really a genius, but a regular guy. Vanessa realized her mistake and laughed again.
«Exactly, they won't understand, but you'll explain it to them! - Will said.
«And you think they're gonna believe me that you're really stupid? That's a brilliant idea!
«Not stupid, but ordinary! And anyway, look at you, your brains aren't helping you much," he said caustically.
Vanessa hit him in the side, of course, but Will was already in the habit of intercepting the blow and slapped her cheek with the palm of his hand. Vanessa grasped her reddened cheek in surprise and looked up at him wide-eyed.
«No one's ever done that to me before.
«I doubt you've never been hit, and a slap is sobering. You've come to your senses, haven't you? - Will corrected, looking down at his palm. If he hadn't restrained his reflex in time, it would have been a real blow.
Will didn't know what to expect from Vanessa in the next moment, she had a strange look in her eyes, and then, as she lunged at him, there was an explosion. He thought Vanessa was going to blow him up with the ship and fly away in some space capsule, but he hit his head on the wall and passed out with a strange metallic taste on his lips.

It had been like two hours and nothing. Diana tried to regain control of the runway controls, but she was having no luck. The control panel refused to respond to any attempt to tamper with the settings.
«That little twit... She hacked into the Watchtower network and put a lock on any tampering. Only Vanessa would be smart enough to do that," Diana said.
«What do we do now? Should I go after her? - Kara asked indifferently (out of politeness), twirling her hair around her finger. She was already painting a picture in her head of her and Will relaxing on the bed.
«No, that's not gonna work. We need to contact Batman. He's the only one who can regain control of the Tower.
«Is there a problem?
The screen above Diana's head showed the scowling face of Batman, who was now standing against the backdrop of some red planet.
«I wonder how you always manage to show up so suddenly and on time?
«The cost of the profession.
«That was sarcasm," Diana pursed her lips. - Your daughter broke into the Watchtower and stole my Falcon!
Batman arched an eyebrow and glanced at Kara, who shrugged awkwardly, "your problem, uncle."
Batman didn't need many words to realize what had happened. He couldn't regain access to the Tower remotely, and Vanessa had done a good job of hacking the system before the flight.
Batman managed to get footage of the system hacking and Vanessa and Will infiltrating the Falcon, which impressed not only Diana anymore, but a highly agitated Kara as well.
«He what?! I'm definitely going after them! - Kara cut in, flying into the air in anger.
«Calm down, Kara. Bruce, can you get the coordinates of their jump remotely? - Diana asked.
«A world of war," Batman said.
Batman's words froze in the air with heavy tension. Willy and Vanessa found themselves on the other side of the galaxy, in a sector ruled by space pirates and bandits, ready to slaughter them like game or sell them into slavery like lowly rabble.
All the ships had been disabled by Vanessa Wayne's hacking of the system, and it would be a couple days before they could go to their aid.
«I'll try to contact Cyborg. He'll help you regain control of the Tower. You'll have to find Vanessa and Willard Light on your own," Batman said.
«All right, but we don't have much time. There are a lot of pirates and hunters in the space sector of World of War, and the Falcon may have already been attacked by someone. Let's hope Clark is somewhere near World of War and can bring them back," Diana said with a little trepidation.
«Uh, guys? Were you looking for me? Yeah, and why won't your gate open? I had to fly in through the back door," Clark said nonchalantly, waving to everyone.
Everyone looked at him like he was a ghost. John (Martian Manhunter) walked beside Superman as if nothing had happened. Except that their silver space suits, which had turned black from something, hinted at the trouble they'd been through.
«Why is everyone so surprised?
«What happened to you, Clark! - Kara flew over to her cousin and took him by the shoulders.
To which Clark arched an eyebrow in surprise.
«We were hit by an asteroid explosion. The detonator's out of control, but we haven't figured out the cause yet. I thought the Falconess told you.
«Alas, Falconica and Green Lantern are not in contact after trying to find you. What's keeping you? - Diana said.
«We tried to contact you, but got into a bit of a snag on the way back," Martian Hunter explained.
By trouble, he meant an attack by a spaceship carrying hunters from the World of War. They managed to fight back, but they lost Falconer's ship and had to find their way home with difficulty.
«So you're telling me that my boyfriend is all alone right now, surrounded by militant thugs who can chop him into little pieces? - Kara said with a mixture of anger and concern.
All the Justice League members present looked at her with mute faces. Each of them could argue, "he wasn't alone," but no one dared to call Vanessa Wayne a reliable enough companion.
The world of war didn't care how smart a man got into its territory. In this brutal, battle-hardened land, only one language was recognized: the language of force. Violence there ruled over common sense, and the most egregious bastards, psychopaths, and animal abusers chopped each other to a pulp day in and day out.
Vanessa Wayne will have to face incredibly powerful creatures that could tear her apart with their bare hands. To face monsters that could pick up a huge boulder with their hand and throw it several hundred meters forward. And when it came to Willard, who'd never once fought alien verisimilitude...
