When Ron opened his eyes, Ron found himself in an entirely different place. He was not on his hotel room's bed but was lying on the ground. The wind was blowing pleasantly, a nice breeze, in a huge grassland. It all felt like a dream. Suddenly, Ron realized that none of it was real, but a fragment of his imagination, somewhat like a dream.
He stood up and looked around to understand his surroundings when, not far away he, saw a humanoid figure, just standing still with a dark aura surround it giving it a glow. "Come, walk towards me, let me guide you." The figure said. "Why is that voice so familiar?" Ron thought. He was scared but had a little faith in himself. He decided to be on guard while approaching it. Gathering all of his strength, Ron ran towards the figure at full speed. To his disappointment, nothing became slow. It was like, those powers weren't working in that space. Losing his faith, Ron stood still in a huge Greenland with the dark figure. Suddenly, the pleasant grassland turned into a hellish volcano. Ron thought that he would fell in the lava but realized that he was floating. The figure raised its hand and pulled Ron towards him using magic. Ron lost all control of his body. Engulfed with the fear of death, he started crying for help. "HELP! PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME!!!" He shouted when suddenly, he woke up in his hotel room.
"Ron! Are you okay?" Ela gasped as she hugged him tightly. "Hey, hey, it's okay, calm down. You're okay. Just a bad dream alright? It's all okay. I'm here." Ela comforted him. "I'm sorry, I-I was not, I don't even know how to describe it." He replied. "It's alright. Everything's fine. Sam, please give us a minute. Thank you." Ela said. "Okay sure, take care Ron. It was just a bad dream alright?" Sam tried to comfort Ron as he left. "Okay, tell me, what happened." Ela asked while holding his hand, trying to make him comfortable. "I-I don't know." Ron gasped. "It's okay, breath. It's all okay. What did you see Ron? Why were you screaming for help? What was in your dream?" Ela asked. "I woke up in a grassland and basically saw a figure. It pulled me towards itself, and I wasn't able to use my powers. I had no control over my body. I screamed and screamed for help, which led to you waking me up. It wasn't a dream, I know it. Maybe it was mind telekinesis. Somehow my mind travelled to that space." Ron explained. "I see. Don't take any load. We'll slowly get to know why all of this is happening alright? Don't overdo yourself in any case. Just be careful. Now, get ready. We need to leave in fifteen." Ela explained. "Leave? For where?" Ron asked. "Fuji?" Ela responded confusingly. "Why?" Ron got confused. "Don't tell me you forget why you guys are here in Japan in the first place! Wait, you actually did?? Hahaha!" Ela exclaimed. "Oh yeah! Shit, with all of this happening, my mind's not even in the right place. Alright, I'll freshen up and get ready. You go get some breakfast done, I'll catch-up." Ron said. Ela left the room while Ron rushed to the bathroom. He stood in front of the mirror, thinking about the grass field. "Who was that? Definitely not a human." Ron murmured. He suddenly noticed someone's presence behind him. He closed his eyes in fear, slowly opening them to witness a black shadow, with red glowing eyes glaring at him. "Finally, I can talk to you. It's been ages." The shadow said. Ron instantly recognized the voice. "It's the voice that's been talking to me." Ron thought. "Who are you? What do you want from me? Why is all of this happening with me?" Ron asked with fear in his voice. "Because it's your destiny, Ron. You're him." The shadow replied. "Him? Who are you talking about? What do you even mean?" Ron shouted. "You'll get to know it eventually, when the time comes. All of this happening with you, it's all a part of a greater deal that you can't comprehend right now. Your parent's death, all these attacks on you, your aunt's dirty play, each and everything is connected. It's all because of a vow. I'm but just a mere devil." The shadow grinned. "Wait a minute, what do you mean by aunt's dirty play?" Ron shouted again. "Have patience, Ron. Have patience. When the right time comes, everything will make sense. Till then, use your powers wisely. I think I've taught you good. Also, I'm giving you a task. If you want to know the truth, visit the Wisteria Tunnel near Fuji. Fate is calling you out, Ron. Fate brought you here, in Japan. Fate will lead you to the truth if you're willing you. When you reach the tunnel, you will be thoroughly tested. Make sure not to fuck up. Find a person named Ren there. Ask him about The Silent Assassin, The Lost Assassin. Take a word of advice; make sure not to touch anything when you meet Ren. He'll surely try to test you. Until we meet again." The shadow explained, fading away. "What the fuck was that?" Ron gasped.
He freshened up and rushed to the lobby where everyone was waiting for their bus to Fuji. They boarded the bus and left. The last assassin, the silent assassin, the wisteria tunnel, Ren-sama, aunt's dirty play, not to touch anything, so many things were going on in his mind. Ela, sitting next to him, noticed his every movement. He seemed distressed. Suddenly, breaking the silence, she said, "So? What are you thinking about? What did the shadow tell you in the washroom?" "Wait, how do you even know about that?" Ron asked. "I hid behind the door and heard you talking. Doesn't take a genius to guess what's cookin." Ela explained. "Ela, listen to me. Things are bad. I need to go to some Wisteria Tunnel near Fuji. I checked for it on maps, and thankfully it's on our route. The shadow told me that I would get all my answers there. I need to find some Ren there." Ron explained. "I see. And what about mother's dirty play?" Ela asked. "So, you heard that as well. I have no idea what that was about. That's why I wanna go to this tunnel and get the answers quickly." Ron explained. "Don't worry about it." Ela exclaimed as she got up from her seat and went to the professor and told him something. She came back and sat on her seat. "What was that about?" Ron asked. "Well, I got us permission to deboard the bus at that tunnel, so thank me later." Ela exclaimed. "What? How?" Ron asked. "I ain't telling you." Ela replied with a big smile on her face. "Anyways, thanks for that." Ron said.
The bus dropped the two in front of the entrance to the tunnel. "Here it is, The Wisteria Tunnel. This tunnel is said to be made by a legendary shinobi named Ronin in the early Kamakura period. It is said that this tunnel is the entrance to a magical world, used by Ronin himself. Wisterias kept the evil away. Not one person has been able to find the entrance to this magic world though. Elder people still believe in the existence of the world and presence of Ronin, making this a tourist spot." Ela explained. "When did you do this research?" Ron asked. "Right now? I can use the internet, right?" Ela mocked him. "Well, that was not expected. Let's go get to this Ren-sama." Ron exclaimed. "Sama? Oh, right, sure, let's do this." She exclaimed.
