Aiden stunned by what Len said could only watch as Len departed from his sight, not even tearing a second eye.
"D-did he just leave me?' Aiden thought in his head as he found it hard to believe. 'Did he find out who I am really.... no....if not he would not have let me off that easy."
An adult male, leaving a kid alone in a dangerous place. Wasn't that just being irresponsible?
"It seems I have judged him wrong. He seemed like a pretty reasonable guy, but one shouldn't judge a book by its cover" With that in mind Aiden stood up and began approaching the door of the book store
From there he poked his head out, and looked at the walking Len as well as the guards.
"Tch, to think he actually had powers, uh. How the hell did he even get it. How can a human being have powers? Perhaps I should follow him from the back to know his path.... no its too dangerous. I should just stay here." Aiden considered, his finger on his chin.
He had aimed to make Len take him with him, so that he could be safe. Although he did not know what Len or the knights were capable of, he could still guess that they were very much not ordinary, due to their appearance and the way they came. Also, the way Len left the room, as If not scared was also very convincing for him.
"Tch, perhaps I should just stay here," with a slight turn back of his head 'No. My hiding spot is already destroyed staying here would mean death.....I guess I will have to follow him from the back."
With that thought in mind, Aiden took in a deep breath before stepping out of the store. Although, countless blood and limbs littered the floor. He did not care.
...
In a parked bus on a parking lot, three people crouched on the floor, their body shaking in obvious fear.
A man aged 44 could be seen holding both of these people in his embrace as he slowly raised his head high, looking through the window.
With a slight sigh and a nod to the woman at his side, he spoke:
"It's clear. We should leave here now, I'm sure we could make there if we run fast enough okay?"
The woman next to him nodded, as she looked at the girl at her side.
"Claire, we will try to get you there soon, okay."
A slight nod then "okay" escaped the girls lips as she tightened her grip on her mothers hand.
Instantly, they all got up, their head tilting and their eyes scanning their environment as they looked around them. Confirming that there was nothing, they walked towards the front door of the bus, which was slightly open and with a slight push, the door opened as they made their way down the buses stairs.
"Look, lets pass there quick." The woman spoke, her tone low as she looked at her husband.
The husband nodded in agreement as they all started moving as fast as they could towards the shopping mall at their front. They ran as fast as their legs could take them, as they tried to avoid making any noise as much as possible.
After about running for about 2 minutes, they arrived at the doors of the shopping mall.
"Quick!" The man told, as he pressured the woman and the girl to enter.
The doors of the shopping mall, slid open as both the girl as well as the mother rushed into it, of course with the man behind their back.
