Chapter 5 - Chapter 5 wyvern

Responding to Zyanid_Warfare: Yes, he will have a "human" form, but with several distinct characteristics. He will be much taller, his legs won't be exactly human, among other differences.

Responding to kratos1999 and Talvin_Shiji: The concept won't follow this idea exactly, because the system comes from the game Miguel created. It will follow this base, but with some changes. Unfortunately, the killing system won't be removed, but there will be additional requirements to evolve. In addition to defeating enemies, it will be possible to gain experience in other ways, although at a slower pace.

The next element to be introduced is the titles. Oh, and some may like it or not, but the system has ended up interfering with the universe.

Thank you for the comments, see you all!

Uriel tightly held the goblin's corpse and ran back to the cave, his small muscles tense from the effort. The cold wind blew relentlessly against his scaly body, but he ignored the sensation, focused on his goal.

"I'll begin my evolution... I have food, and the snow will be my hiding place. I don't want to be devoured while I'm vulnerable," he murmured to himself, his eyes shining with determination.

Once inside the cave, he looked around, analyzing the available space. The darkness inside was cut only by the pale light coming from the entrance, reflecting off the damp walls. The air was freezing, but not enough to bother him.

With quick and careful movements, he grabbed a handful of snow he had brought from outside and began to pile it in a strategic corner of the cave. The chosen spot was near the entrance, where the cold was more intense and the snow wouldn't melt so quickly. Satisfied, he dug a small hole in the soft snow and buried the goblin's corpse there, covering it completely.

"This should keep the smell from spreading... I hope."

After making sure everything was in order, he took a deep breath and stared at the translucent system screen that appeared before his eyes.

[Choose the available evolution]

[Warning: Your evolutions are influenced by the environment in which you live. The system uses the elements of this location to create new, adapted forms.]

---

[Snowstorm Dragon]

A majestic dragon with scales as white as snow, covered in a dense fur similar to arctic animals. Its intimidating and graceful appearance makes it an imposing creature in freezing territories.

Acquired abilities:

- Snowstorm Dragon Breath – A frosty breath capable of instantly freezing any being with less than 50 defense points.

- Summon Snowstorm – Using mana, it can summon a snowstorm within a 300-meter radius. Every 10 seconds, enemies within the area have their speed reduced by 5 points, and the [Freezing] effect is applied.

- Little Snow King – Within a 300-meter radius, if there is snow or it is snowing, it can detect heat, smell, or any presence, becoming an unstoppable hunter in the cold.

---

[Ice Dragon]

An imposing creature with dark blue scales, resistant and cold to the touch. Its robust body and overwhelming presence make the environment around it succumb to the cold.

Acquired abilities:

- Ice Dragon Breath – A frosty breath capable of freezing any being with less than 50 defense points.

- Freezing Presence – Creatures without cold resistance begin to freeze slowly just by being near it. Its body exudes a cold aura that affects the surrounding environment.

- Ice Scales – Its scales can reflect magical attacks, absorbing part of the mana from the impact to retaliate. The stronger the attack, the higher the mana cost to reflect.

---

[Rock Dragon]

A colossal dragon with scales as thick as rocks and a body adapted for absolute resilience.

Acquired abilities:

- Rocky Breath – Shoots multiple stones at high speed, piercing any being with less than 50 defense points.

- Rock Body – Gains 30 defense points with each level gained, becoming progressively more resistant.

- Crusher – Capable of devouring and digesting any type of mineral, absorbing its properties.

---

Uriel read the descriptions carefully, his tail swaying slightly over the snow as he pondered.

"The Rock Dragon is out of the question. I don't want to be a walking rock..."

He crossed his arms, reflecting. The Snowstorm Dragon seemed fascinating. The idea of having fur like a mammal was intriguing. "Would I look majestic or terrifying? Depends..." He laughed to himself. "Not to mention, I don't even know what my own face looks like now..."

The Ice Dragon, on the other hand, gave him a sense of absolute power. An imposing being with dark blue scales that made the environment tremble around it...

Uriel sighed, crossing his arms.

"Both are incredible..."

Finally, he made his decision.

"Alright... I hope I don't regret this."

His eyes glowed for a moment before he finally touched the desired option on the system screen.

---

[Chosen evolution: Ice Dragon]

[Are you sure you want to continue?]

[Yes / No]

[Warning: After making this choice, there is no turning back. Your evolutionary path will be permanently defined.]

---

Uriel froze for a moment. The weight of the decision settled on his shoulders.

"Well, it's too late now..." He let out a heavy sigh, but didn't hesitate as he pressed "Yes."

---

[The evolution will begin in 10 seconds.]

---

His heart started beating faster.

"Ten seconds..." He murmured, feeling a wave of anxiety mixed with excitement.

He quickly burrowed under the snow, hiding completely. The white layer covered his small body, leaving only a faint ripple on the surface.

The cold was intense, but nothing compared to what he was about to experience.

His eyes slowly closed. His mind began to fade.

The last thing he heard was the echo of the system resonating in his head before he fell into a deep sleep.

-------

In the imposing Stark Tower, the rhythmic and precise sound of machinery echoed through Tony Stark's lab. At the center of the space illuminated by bluish holograms, an egg approximately one meter tall rested on a metallic platform, surrounded by robotic arms gliding around its surface, scanning every inch with surgical precision.

Tony, wearing a black t-shirt with the arc reactor softly glowing under the fabric, crossed his arms and tilted his head slightly, analyzing the strange object before him with a mix of fascination and skepticism.

"Did you find anything, Jarvis?" he asked, breaking the silence, his voice laden with curiosity.

The artificial intelligence responded instantly, its tone always impeccably neutral:

"Yes, sir. The being inside this egg does not belong to any registered terrestrial species. However, its biological structure exhibits characteristics similar to those of a reptile."

Tony raised an eyebrow and stepped forward. "So... does that mean we have a mutation on our hands? Or are we dealing with an alien?" He ran his fingers over the smooth surface of the egg, feeling the slightly rough texture under his touch.

"Sir, the data does not indicate a genetic mutation. As for the possibility of it being alien, there is no reference in my databases that matches the creature inside the egg. However..." Jarvis paused briefly before concluding: "Based on its morphology, I would classify this being as something closer to a fantasy creature."

Tony frowned, processing the information. "Fantasy? You mean like those creatures from books? Or are we talking about mythology?" He leaned slightly forward to stare at the egg, his mind working quickly. "I mean, considering Norse gods have already knocked on my door, it wouldn't be that absurd..."

"With the data collected, I can generate a visual projection of the creature," Jarvis informed, without any emotional inflection.

Instantly, a three-dimensional hologram took shape in the air. Blue lines connected, slowly molding the figure of an imposing being. Its membranous wings were wide and muscular, the sharp claws appeared designed to rip apart, and its long tail slithered through the digital space. The glow of the projected eyes conveyed a sense of instinctive intelligence and wildness.

Tony blinked, absorbing the image before him. "Is this... a dragon?"

"No, sir," Jarvis corrected with precision. "This is a wyvern. Although often confused with a dragon, it does not fit the traditional definition of a true dragon."

Tony let out a brief laugh, crossing his arms. "Since when have you been reading fantasy books, Jarvis?"

"Sir, my programming includes access to the entire human knowledge base. Literature, in all its forms, is present in that collection," the AI responded with its usual impassivity.

Tony shook his head, a playful smile spreading across his lips. "Great. So now, in addition to being my digital butler, you're also a fantasy bestiary expert. What else are you hiding from me, huh?"
