============

The moment Yuta left the Hokage Tower, storm clouds gathered in its office. Danzo—having somehow learned of the Scroll's viewing—burst in with Koharu and Homura in tow.

"Hiruzen!" Koharu's cane struck the floor. "The ban on Yuta was a council decision! You dare override us?"

Homura adjusted his glasses. "As advisors, we demand you restrict him from using those techniques. The man's too dangerous."

Danzo's laugh dripped venom. "Or have you forgotten his… transformation? He's worse than any Uchiha."

Sarutobi exhaled smoke, masking his disdain. Political infants. Had they not noticed the textbook's value? The propaganda coup?

"My decision stands."

Koharu's face purpled. "What hold does that man have over you?"

"I accept full responsibility."

Danzo's eye narrowed. That empty phrase—Hiruzen's tell when committed to something big. Whatever Yuta offered, it outweighed Konoha's security concerns.

"Let Root handle surveillance," Danzo tested. "If he—"

"No." The Hokage's pipe clinked against its stand—finality in the sound.

Root Headquarters

Ceramic shattered as Danzo hurled his inkpot. "You'll regret this, Hiruzen!"

A masked agent materialized. "Lord Danzo?"

"Take Squad Five to Yuta's compound." Danzo's knuckles whitened around his desk. "Bring him here. Casualties… permitted."

As the agent vanished, Danzo stared at his reflection in a kunai. He'd tolerated the silver-haired enigma for years—the mission completions justified the risk. But this? Trading forbidden knowledge like market goods?

No. Before Yuta became another Orochimaru, he'd prune this weed himself.

Yuta's Residence

Cross-legged in his courtyard, Yuta sensed the approaching chakra signatures. Behind him, the house stood silent—Kiko and the children safely inside after Might Dai's warning run to the Hokage.

Twenty-three… no, twenty-six. All Root, moving with kill-team precision.

Yuta's lips thinned. He could reduce them to iron-laced corpses in minutes. But that would sacrifice the life he'd built—the home where his sons' laughter still echoed from this morning's reading lesson.

So he waited. Let Hiruzen clean his own mess.

The first shuriken whizzed from the trees. Yuta didn't blink as it embedded itself in the dirt before him—a formal challenge.

Game on.

"Here I come."

Yuta rose, a kunai slipping into his palm. His customary smile vanished—replaced by the cold focus of a predator.

Danzo's days were numbered. He would be removed.

Whoosh-whoosh-whoosh!

Five Root operatives materialized in the courtyard. Their leader's voice cut through the dusk: "By Lord Hokage's authority, you will come with us." The kunai in his grip left no room for refusal.

Yuta's senses prickled—three more signatures slinking toward the house. Toward Kiko.

"Did Danzo send you?"

"How dare—"

"Die."

The world blurred. Five throats opened before the first drop hit the soil. Yuta was already moving, sandals slapping against wooden flooring as he charged—

BOOM!

The wall exploded outward. A black-clad body sailed through the air—Yuta batted it aside like a bothersome fly.

Inside, Kiko stood amidst splintered furniture, medical chakra glowing around her fists as two Root agents twitched at her feet. The children huddled behind a chakra barrier in the corner, wide-eyed but unharmed.

A gust of wind—Duy crashed through the doorway with Sarutobi and ANBU in tow. The Hokage took in the scene: the corpses, the shattered home, Yuta's bloodied blade.

"Yuta," Sarutobi began, voice grave, "this overreach won't go unanswered."

Overreach? Yuta nearly laughed.

The old monkey's eyes told another story—here was the excuse he needed to prune Danzo's power.

He was also dissatisfied with his old friend for what happened today. He finally found a way to improve his political prestige, but he wanted to ruin it for him.

Has Danzo become too arrogant?

Yuta did not take Hiruzen seriously, but wasn't he planning to build a new house recently?

Although he had already obtained the land from Senju, building a house would cost money. Today, he will use this opportunity to get the money for building a house.

"Compensation," Yuta stated flatly. "Land and construction costs."

Sarutobi's mustache twitched. A pause, then a nod. The unspoken pact was sealed: Danzo's coffers would fund Yuta's new home.

As the Hokage departed, Yuta watched the ANBU collect bodies. Somewhere in Konoha, a certain warhawk was unknowingly bankrolling his own demise.
