Chapter 9 - Simp and Another Simp

"Katsuki-sensei, can you arrange more practical combat training? We're not becoming ninjas just to run away." Many students complained.

Compared to the simple and unadorned physical training, they preferred combat.

At least at that time, they could still receive cheers from others.

"Yo, Kakashi, it's my favorite part again!"

Might Guy flashed his teeth, which had been polished to a reflective white, and gave a thumbs up.

"Want to have a fiery duel of youth with me?"

"..."

Kakashi, wearing a scarf, glanced at Guy's green jumpsuit.

Seeing Guy constantly making strange poses, he wanted to wash his eyes with bleach.

He wondered why his father, had warned him that Guy would be a formidable opponent in the future, he felt that it was absurd.

"If you don't start running, you'll fall behind." Kakashi started running and said.

"Kakashi, I'm coming!" Guy immediately followed Kakashi.

"Kakashi, still as handsome as ever."

Many young girls were staring at Kakashi, feeling that watching Kakashi run made them less tired.

Rin also secretly watched Kakashi, trying to keep up with Kakashi's pace.

"Can you keep up?" Kakashi said faintly.

"I can." Rin nodded.

Obito was at the very back. Seeing Rin chatting with Kakashi as if no one else was there, he gritted his teeth.

He accelerated a little, and blocked Rin's view.

"Kakashi, you're too slow." Obito put on a relaxed expression and said.

"Idiot."

Kakashi found Obito to be foolish. They had only finished running a few laps, there was still a lot to go.

But it seemed that Obito had forgotten about this. He suddenly disrupted his rhythm to cater to others.

He would definitely run out of energy later.

Kakashi shook his head and continued running forward.

"That is… Uchiha Kiyoshi."

Kakashi's eyes narrowed.

While distracted by chatting with others, he turned his head and suddenly discovered that Kiyoshi had already run to the front.

Whether it was his illusion or not, Kakashi found that Kiyoshi seemed to be running more and more easily as time passed on.

In the following laps, Kakashi observed Kiyoshi.

He noticed that Kiyoshi hadn't sweated much until the end.

While others were panting and resting, Kiyoshi took out a small booklet and looked at something.

This performance caught the attention of Katsuki.

Then he thought of Kiyoshi's origin.

"The Land of Lightning."

He recalled the Kumo Ninjas, famous for their taijutsu.

It was normal for Kiyoshi to have a better physique than others.

Neither the Senju clan nor the Uzumaki clan were as famous as the ninjas from the Land of Lightning in terms of taijutsu.

"Aren't you tired?" Kakashi came over and asked.

He was very curious about how Kiyoshi was so good at long-distance running despite his thin appearance.

"It's okay."

Kiyoshi picked up a pre-prepared water bottle and took a sip.

With the existence of chakra, ninjas are much stronger than ordinary people, and long-distance running is no exception.

After taking a sip, Kiyoshi looked at Kakashi.

This was a talented genius who had created the S-rank ninjutsu Raikiri.

The Sharingan that Obito had given to Kakashi had actually hindered Kakashi's growth.

Later, Kakashi had developed a new type of Lightning Release ninjutsu that didn't rely on the Sharingan and didn't require hand seals shortly after losing the Sharingan.

That was "Purple Electricity" as a replacement for Raikiri.

Kiyoshi said, "Kakashi, aren't you performing even more outstandingly?"

Kakashi was the number one in overall grades, and naturally, he had no shortcomings in the physical aspect.

Guy said, "Kiyoshi, so you're also part of burning youth!"

Guy ran over, his watermelon-like hairstyle swaying in the wind.

"No, I'm just exercising."

Kiyoshi pointed to his thin body, paused, and said, "If I want to become a ninja in the future, this alone won't do."

"That's right." Guy nodded in agreement.

Underneath the jumpsuit, Guy had already developed a strong body.

Kiyoshi really needed to exercise.

"Kiyoshi is so hardworking."

Rin wiped her sweat and walked over.

Thin traces of sweat floated on Rin's fair skin, adding a bit of smoothness.

"I must have looked pretty cool, right?"

Obito, who had disrupted his rhythm to block Kakashi in front of Rin, was exhausted in the last few laps.

Everyone else had finished running, leaving only him.

He took weak steps and finally finished the last lap. He looked around for Rin.

To let Rin see his hardworking side, being a little tired was worth it.

"Rin…"

Obito saw Rin's back in the left direction. He took a few steps, wanting to go over and say hello, but saw a few people in front of Rin.

Guy was automatically ignored by him.

There was his rival Kakashi.

And that annoying person from the Land of Lightning.

Kiyoshi said, "Rin, can I continue to trouble you to teach me ninjutsu today? I already have a preliminary understanding of tree climbing, and I want to learn an E-rank ninjutsu as soon as possible."

Hearing this, Kakashi looked at Rin in confusion.

His father had something to do and had called him home yesterday, so he had left earlier than usual.

So Rin had taught this transfer student tree climbing yesterday?

"Of course, this way, you can adapt to the learning here as soon as possible." Rin nodded and said.

In front of Kakashi, of course, she had to show her gentle and kind side.

Their conversation reached Obito's ears.

"Why is it that guy again?"

Obito stopped and clenched his fist.

He didn't have much time to spend with Rin. Most of the time, it was Kakashi, Rin, and himself together.

Yesterday, he had to shamelessly squeeze in.

If he didn't squeeze in, wouldn't Kiyoshi and Rin be alone?

He had heard that his parents had died on the battlefield very early from his grandmother.

And the Land of Lightning was at war with the Land of Fire at that time.

This bastard is also from the Land of Lightning and he's always hanging around Rin.

Obito could tolerate everything else, but he couldn't tolerate anything related to Rin.

He somewhat acknowledged Kakashi's strength and regarded Kakashi as both a rival in love and a good classmate.

But why did this random newcomer also attract Rin's attention like this?

"What's wrong, Obito?"

Asuma, sucking on a lollipop, noticed that Obito's face was not looking good.

"It's nothing."

Obito waved his hand.

Seeing this, Asuma didn't ask further.

His relationship with Obito was average, so he had just asked casually.

"So it's Rin."

Asuma followed the direction of Obito's gaze and immediately understood why Obito was like this.

Obito was always attentive to Rin, and as his classmate, he could see some things.

"Tsk."

Asuma didn't think much of Obito's simping behavior.

'So obsessed with a girl.'

He walked in another direction, revealing a smile, and said, "Kurenai, are you tired? I have candy here…"
