Chapter 4 - Learning Under Rin

"Did you not learn it, Kiyoshi? You're from the Uchiha clan, aren't you?" Rin asked curiously.

Although Kiyoshi is from the Land of Lightning, his surname is Uchiha.

The Uchiha are a large ninja clan in the village, exclusively managing the Konoha Police Force. It's no exaggeration to say that they are the nobles of Konoha.

Obito said, "Being an Uchiha doesn't mean you can learn any ninjutsu you want."

Obito immediately ran over and continued, "To prevent clan members from abusing ninjutsu and being overly ambitious, these things require approval from the elders in charge of management."

Obito spoke, "If not, wouldn't everyone just choose the most powerful ninjutsu right away?"

"I see."

Rin nodded, her short hair swaying, with a few strands of black hair resting on the purple markings on the sides of her face.

She was just a child from a commoner background and didn't know much about these things.

"So, Rin-san, could you teach me?" Kiyoshi said, his dark eyes fixed on Rin.

His pupils reflected Rin's appearance. Perhaps because it was nearing late autumn, her clothes were much thicker.

Rin had value to exploit. Asking her for guidance would allow him to become stronger faster.

Rin was a medical genius, as could be seen from her being a Chunin who knew the Mystical Palm Technique.

What level of ninjutsu was the Mystical Palm Technique?

A-rank!

This was second only to S-rank ninjutsu in terms of learning difficulty, and medical ninjutsu was often more difficult to learn than ordinary ninjutsu.

Because it required more attention to the subtle "control" of chakra. Even just a slight deviation could lead to great errors.

This showed that Rin had talent in this area, as an A-rank Mystical Palm Technique was not something that could be easily learned.

Tsunade had suggested incorporating medical ninjas into teams and proposed establishing a training mechanism for medical ninjas during the Second Great Ninja War.

It had only been a few years since the end of the Second Great Ninja War, and many things were still being perfected.

It was inevitable that Rin's talent would attract the attention of Konoha's medical team, allowing her to be taught the A-rank medical ninjutsu so quickly.

If she hadn't died young, she might have become a famous medical ninja like Tsunade and Sakura in the future.

"Okay, I can do that."

Rin thought for a moment and agreed.

"But in school, there are only some E-rank ninjutsu, so I can only teach you those."

Kiyoshi said "Then I'll have to trouble you, Rin-san."

Kiyoshi smiled slightly and said, "You've really helped me a lot."

"It's nothing, we're classmates." Rin shook her head and said.

Obito, on the other hand, felt that he had shot himself in the foot.

If he had known that this would happen, he wouldn't have told Rin about these things.

"Rin, teach me quickly too."

Obito made a request to Rin, not wanting Rin to only teach Kiyoshi.

Unfortunately, the class bell had already rung, and Obito could only return to his seat first.

Looking at the densely packed writing on the blackboard, Obito spun the pen in his hand, daydreaming.

"Hehe, when Rin gives me special training, I will definitely show that arrogant Kakashi!"

Obito was lost in a wonderful fantasy, occasionally glancing at Kakashi or Rin.

Meanwhile, Kiyoshi continued to read. This knowledge was basic, but also valuable.

In the Uchiha clan, he was always an "outsider".

Whether they would send someone to guide him, and to what extent they would teach him, was unknown.

Kiyoshi couldn't take chances, fantasizing that the Uchiha would send a powerful figure to give him private instruction.

He was very clear about his current identity.

A mixed-blood Uchiha who was picked up on the side of the road.

Being valued was purely out of fear that there were other examples like Kiyoshi.

Moreover, having only awakened one Sharingan, others might think Kiyoshi was "trash" from the Land of Lightning.

Besides Rin, there was another genius in the class, Kakashi.

Kiyoshi glanced forward, where a boy with white spiky hair and a black mask was sitting.

But Kakashi wouldn't be as easy to talk to as Rin.

Soon, Sakumo would die, which would lead to Kakashi's personality changing drastically.

Kakashi will become cold-blooded and numb, thus applying to graduate early.

In the original story, the role of ninjas as a tool was vividly displayed on Kakashi.

After a moment of contemplation, Kiyoshi continued to study.

In any case, increasing his personal strength was the right path.

Soon, the day passed.

Kiyoshi had also initially adapted to life here in Ninja school.

The content taught at Ninja School can be roughly divided into five sections.

Theory, training, history, experience, and practice.

In simple terms, theory teaches ninjutsu, hand seals, and some basic physics and mathematics knowledge.

Training is associated to physical training and some basic taijutsu.

History is for learning about outstanding figures in Konoha and the ninja world.

Experience is various skills that a ninja needs, such as intelligence gathering, assassination, codes, espionage, concealment, etc. Also, there is some exclusive training for female ninjas.

Finally, there is practice. It is essentially about putting the learned things in practice as the name suggests.

Through sparring, students develop their combat skills However, one crucial point was missing.

That is thought and morality.

Ninja School ultimately aims to produce ninjas and has no intentions of changing a students' thinking for the better.

The most obvious point is the Daimyo.

In a world where individual power is enough to destroy the world, powerful people are actually under the rule of ordinary people.

Even in Boruto, Naruto, who became the Seventh Hokage, is still subject to the Daimyo's control, and can only silently endure even if Konoha's funds are cut.

'There's no point thinking about these things. They are still too far away from my reach.'

Looking at the empty classroom, Kiyoshi opened the semi-transparent panel.

After some testing, he had found that no one except him could see this panel.

Today, it seemed that most of the content in class covered history and culture because of his arrival.

[Reading Absorption (White)]

[Requirement: Read 10 articles and complete detailed notes.]

[Progress: 50%]

[Effect: Your absorption speed of textual information is slightly improved, and your rate of understanding of content becomes 10% faster than normal.]

[Note: Can be upgraded.]

Kiyoshi looked at the second trait.

[Basic Memory (White)]

[Requirement: Memorize 5 selected historical biographies of ninja world figures.]

[Progress: 40%]

[Effect: Your short-term memory ability is slightly improved, allowing you to remember words and phrases faster, and your memory efficiency becomes 5% greater than normal.]

[Note: Can be upgraded.]

'Learning cultural courses should be much easier.' Kiyoshi thought to himself.

This was just the beginning. White should be the lowest quality and the easiest trait to obtain.

So far, the traits he has obtained have all been marked with the words "Can be upgraded" which means that he can upgrade them once he meets certain conditions.

"Basic Memory" and "Reading Absorption" were exactly what Kiyoshi needed.

To become a medical ninja, he has to memorize a lot of medical knowledge.

"Kiyoshi."

Kiyoshi closed the panel and was about to leave his seat after packing his things when a voice came from the door.

Rin asked, "Why haven't you left yet?"

Rin poked her head in from the door, looking at Kiyoshi with a puzzled expression.
