Chapter 26 - CHAPTER 26: TRANSFORMATION AND A NEW MISSION.

The wind howled through the dense forest as Kaiser stood in a clearing, his arms crossed, eyes gleaming with excitement. His tail flicked impatiently behind him. The notification from his system still echoed in his mind—Super Saiyan Unlocked.

His lips curled into a grin. "Alright, let's see what this is all about."

Closing his eyes, he focused inward, trying to tap into the newfound power. The concept was familiar—Saiyans transformed through intense emotions, but simply willing it to happen wasn't working. He took a deep breath, clenching his fists.

Nothing.

His brows furrowed. "Tch. Guess it's not that easy."

Kaiser decided to approach it differently. If emotions were the key, then he had to tap into something powerful. His mind drifted to Yun Yun, the feeling of her warmth beside him, the soft smile she gave before leaving. A strange emptiness gnawed at him. He didn't like it.

His muscles tensed. Was this longing? Annoyance? Something else?

The ground trembled beneath him as golden sparks flickered around his body. A sudden pressure built up in his chest, but just as quickly as it appeared, it faded. The energy dissipated, leaving him standing there, scowling.

"Damn it."

He needed to push himself harder. Without hesitation, Kaiser launched himself into training. He moved through the forest at blinding speeds, his body a blur as he tested his limits. Every punch shattered trees, and every kick sent shockwaves rippling through the air. He controlled his Ki with precision, but he could tell—Super Saiyan was something entirely different.

Minutes turned into hours, sweat glistening on his bare torso as he pushed himself further. He tried everything—flaring his Ki, concentrating on his emotions, even trying to force anger—but nothing worked.

Then, as frustration mounted, something snapped inside him.

A deep, guttural roar erupted from his throat. His veins bulged, his body surging with raw energy. Golden light exploded around him, sending debris flying in all directions. His hair stood upright, shifting into a brilliant golden hue, his eyes turning a sharp, piercing green. The pressure around him intensified as his muscles grew slightly more defined, crackling with energy.

Super Saiyan.

Kaiser exhaled, grinning. "Oh yeah... this is it."

His body felt lighter yet incredibly powerful, as if the world itself had slowed down around him. He clenched his fists, testing his strength. A simple step cracked the earth beneath him, and a flick of his wrist sent a nearby boulder flying through the forest.

But then, barely ten minutes in, he felt a sudden drain. His breath grew heavier, his vision wavered, and in an instant, the golden aura vanished. His hair returned to normal, and his legs buckled slightly.

"Ten minutes... huh?" He muttered, running a hand through his damp hair. "Looks like I need more training."

Before he could catch his breath, an ominous presence filled the air.

A rustling in the trees.

Then—voices.

"Are you sure he went this way?"

"Yes. That brat couldn't have gone far. We'll drag him back kicking and screaming. Master won't be pleased if we lose him."

Kaiser cocked his head, his Saiyan ears picking up every word. His gaze sharpened. A group of Dou cultivators... and they're after someone.

Then it hit him. Xiao Yan.

He smirked. Guess I found my entertainment.

Leaping onto a thick tree branch, Kaiser concealed his presence, watching as the group of cultivators—six in total—moved through the forest below. Their robes bore a similar insignia, their aura suggesting they were all at least Dou Spirit or higher.

Kaiser blinked....

"Hold on.. why THE FUCK DO I HAVE TO BE HIS SWORN BROTHER?"...

**SYSTEM**

JUST DO AS YOUR TOLD, SHAMELESS BAFFOON.

"WTF did you just call me?"

Kaiser's eye twitched in annoyance.

Before he could retaliate, he noticed the group had reached right below him.

The leader, a tall man with a cruel smirk, scanned the area. "Spread out. If he resists, break his legs."

Kaiser chuckled. "That's not very nice."

The cultivators whirled around, their eyes landing on the shirtless figure perched above them. Golden eyes filled with amusement, toned muscles gleaming under the dappled sunlight, his tail swaying lazily.

"Who the hell are you?" one of them sneered. "You don't have a Dou Qi presence. Just a lost fool."

Kaiser yawned. "Yeah, yeah, I get that a lot. But how about you guys tell me why you're hunting someone in my forest?"

The leader scoffed. "Your forest? Do you even know who we are?"

Kaiser leaped down, landing softly before them. "Nope. And I don't care. But since you're here, how about we play a game?" His grin widened. "You try to beat me, and if you win, I'll let you leave in one piece."

The cultivators exchanged looks before bursting into laughter.

"This idiot is underestimating us. Fine. Break his bones."

Kaiser stretched his arms. "Hope you guys last longer than ten minutes."

The first attacker lunged, a Dou Qi-infused fist aimed straight at his chest. Kaiser didn't move. The punch connected—

—or at least, it should have.

Instead, the moment of impact sent a shockwave through the attacker's arm, making him recoil in pain. "What the—?!"

Kaiser's smirk widened. "That tickled. My turn."

Before the man could react, Kaiser's fist buried itself in his gut. The force sent him flying, crashing through several trees before his body went limp.

The others stiffened. "Impossible—!"

Kaiser cracked his neck. "You guys sure you want to do this?"

They rushed him at once, weapons drawn, Dou Qi flaring. One slashed at his throat—Kaiser dodged effortlessly, appearing behind him in a blink. A swift elbow to the spine, and another cultivator went down.

One of them launched a fire-based technique. Kaiser sighed, raising his hand. The flames dissipated the moment they touched his skin.

"Cute trick," he muttered before vanishing from sight. The next second, two more cultivators were sent flying, crashing into the ground, groaning in pain.

The leader, now pale, took a shaky step back. "W-Wait—"

Kaiser grabbed him by the collar. "You're the leader, right? Good. I need you to deliver a message." He leaned in, his voice dropping into a dangerous whisper. "Run back to whoever sent you. Tell them that if they send anyone else after Xiao Yan, I'll come knocking. And trust me—you don't want that."

With that, he hurled the man into the trees, watching as he scrambled to his feet and fled.

Kaiser exhaled, shaking out his limbs. His body still felt fatigued. Super Saiyan was strong, but he needed to train his stamina to maintain it longer.

"Guess I'll have to get serious."

A grin spread across his face.

Time to push his limits. Ten minutes wasn't going to cut it.
