Chapter 9 - A fight breaking out at the academy

Early Morning

As the first light of dawn touched the sky, Liuyun had already woken up and washed up. Thanks to his strong mental strength, he only needed five or six hours of sleep to feel completely refreshed. This discovery surprised him—it was the only true "cheat ability" he had gained from his soul transmigration.

Moving carefully to avoid waking his mother, Liuyun opened the door and stepped outside. A new day of training was about to begin.

"Let's start with a morning run... I need to build up my endurance."

He ran around Konoha for about fifteen minutes. By the time he returned home, the sun was fully up. Exhausted, he slowed to a walk, letting his body cool down.

When he arrived home, Asuka had already prepared breakfast. After eating some bread and drinking milk, Liuyun grabbed his schoolbag and headed for the Ninja Academy.

"Why is Liuyun suddenly so motivated?" Asuka wondered, watching him leave.

Not only was he more disciplined, but even his habits had changed—his way of dressing, his sleeping schedule, and even how he handled small tasks without her reminders. While she found it strange, Asuka wasn't worried. After all, these were good changes.

At the Academy

Before Liuyun could reach his classroom, several older students blocked his path.

"Well, if it isn't the little bastard? Where's your forehead protector today?" one of them sneered.

Liuyun didn't respond immediately. He glanced at them with a calm yet thoughtful expression. These boys all had black hair, dark eyes, and the signature Uchiha clan fan symbol on their backs. They were a year older than him—sixth graders.

"Hey, I'm talking to you!" The same boy reached out, attempting to grab Liuyun's hair.

But before he could make contact, Liuyun caught his wrist.

"Talk all you want, but don't touch me," he said, shaking the boy's hand off with ease.

His tone wasn't aggressive, but the older boy—Uchiha Kazuhiko—took it as an insult.

"Oh? Looks like someone's getting cocky after a few days off," Kazuhiko sneered. "I think it's about time we taught you a lesson."

"Forget it, Kazuhiko," another Uchiha intervened. "We're all from the same clan. Don't make a scene and let outsiders laugh at us."

But it was too late—the commotion had already attracted a crowd. Students from different clans, including their long-time rivals, the Hyūga, had gathered to watch.

Kazuhiko clicked his tongue in annoyance. "Tch, fine. I'll let you go this time. Just pray we don't run into you after class, little bastard."

Just as Kazuhiko turned to leave, Liuyun spoke.

"Did I say you could go?"

The words were calm but heavy, freezing Kazuhiko in place.

"Oh? And what do you want—"

SMACK!

Before he could finish his sentence, Liuyun's open palm, enhanced with chakra, connected with his face. The slap sent Kazuhiko flying backward. Two of his teeth—mixed with blood—spun through the air before landing on the dirt.

Silence

Everyone watching was stunned.

The "soft and weak" Liuyun had actually fought back. Not just that—he had beaten a fellow Uchiha, and with such overwhelming force!

Liuyun took a step forward.

"Rather than wait for you to take revenge on me, I might as well handle things now."

He knew the reality of this world—showing weakness would only encourage further bullying. If he let Kazuhiko insult him today, others would think it was acceptable to do the same tomorrow.

Without giving Kazuhiko time to recover, Liuyun followed up with a powerful kick to the face, making his nose bleed.

"Liuyun, stop!"

Two other Uchiha students stepped in, forcing him back. One of them kicked Liuyun's arm in an attempt to push him away.

Liuyun barely reacted. He dusted off his sleeve, unaffected. He had already mastered the basics of chakra control, which made his body significantly tougher. The kick may have looked impressive, but it didn't actually hurt him.

With a calm expression, he looked at the older students.

"Liuyun, he's your clanmate. Wasn't that too much?" Uchiha Chiya snapped.

Liuyun scoffed. "If he really considered me a clanmate, he wouldn't have insulted me like that. He crossed the line first. I just made sure he learned his lesson."

The onlookers were murmuring amongst themselves.

"Wasn't Liuyun supposed to be weak? When did he get so strong?"

"Look at his forehead—it's wide, but that doesn't mean he's weak. And he's actually pretty good-looking, isn't he?"

"Tch, the Uchiha fighting each other? This is entertaining," a Hyūga student chuckled.

Meanwhile, Kazuhiko finally regained his senses. Blood dripped from his lips as he staggered to his feet. His eyes burned with fury.

"That bastard! I'll kill him!"

"Hey, calm down," one of his friends said. "Class is about to start. The teacher will be here soon. Just wait until break time."

"We should report him," Chiya suggested. "You're injured. Let's take you to the infirmary."

"Are you stupid?" Kazuhiko spat out blood. "If I report him, how am I supposed to take revenge later?"

His face twisted with rage.

"If I don't knock out all of his teeth by the end of today, I won't be called Uchiha!"
