Chapter 11 - Chapter 11: One Punch Man Universe

Damian stepped out from the shimmering portal and into the vast emptiness of space, finding himself floating next to Earth's moon. The planet stretched out before him—a beautiful swirl of blue and green, vibrant and alive. His system panel, still actively displayed, suddenly flickered as a notification popped up:

[System Updating…] A progress bar filled instantly, followed by a new window flashing before his eyes:

[Main Mission Quests Updated]

Stop 2 Dragon-Level or Higher Disasters [Reward: Lottery Tickets x3]

Become an S-Ranked Hero [Reward: Traversal Ticket x1]

[Bonus Missions]

Defeat Lord Boros, Leader of the Dark Matter Thieves [Reward: Lottery Tickets x3]

Survive a sparring match with Saitama, the One-Punch Man [Reward: Traversal Ticket x1]

Damian's eyes scanned through the updated missions in a second. Stopping two Dragon-level disasters? That seemed reasonable. Becoming an S-Ranked Hero? Doable. But the bonus missions… Lord Boros? He wasn't sure if he was strong enough yet. And sparring with Saitama? Damian had an image of Saitama one-punching him to death, but then he realized that would only happen if Saitama were trying to kill him. "Hmmmmm, maybe we could complete the bonus mission of sparring by becoming his disciple like Genos."

His thoughts were suddenly interrupted by a powerful vibration, a deep rumbling that made the very space around him feel tense. Snapping his focus back to reality, Damian's super vision locked onto a massive meteor hurtling toward Earth.

His mind raced. An asteroid this size… This should be Season One, Episode 7ish. He immediately recognized the event. A Dragon-level disaster.

A smirk played on his lips. I haven't even been here five minutes, and it's already time to shine.

Without hesitation, Damian exploded forward, a crimson and gold blur streaking through the void. He tore through space at incomprehensible speed, slicing past the meteor in an instant as he aimed for Earth below.

Z-City: Disaster Incoming

Z-City sprawled beneath the sky, its towering skyscrapers and winding streets cast in the eerie glow of the incoming meteor. The panic in the air was palpable. People scrambled in terror, car alarms blared, and emergency broadcasts warned of the imminent catastrophe.

On a rooftop directly in its path stood two S-Class heroes—Genos and Metal Knight.

Genos, his cybernetic body glowing with heat, stared up at the descending rock, his mechanical eyes narrowing. "This level of destruction… If we fail to stop it, the city will be annihilated."

Metal Knight's robotic suit hovered beside him, unmoving and eerily calm. His voice crackled through his speakers. "This presents a good opportunity to test the next generation of my weapons. Do not interfere."

Genos' eyes narrowed. "So that's all this is to you? A field test?"

Ignoring the judgment in Genos' voice, Metal Knight aimed his missile pods toward the sky. With a shrill mechanical hum, dozens of sleek, high-powered rockets launched upward in synchronized formation, screaming through the atmosphere toward the meteor.

A moment later, the missiles detonated on impact—each explosion echoing like thunder across the city. Flames and smoke filled the sky, enveloping the meteor in a swirling black cloud. The light from the blasts lit up the streets below. The tremors caused by the impact rattled nearby buildings.

Genos instinctively raised his arm to shield his face from the wind as he stared into the smoke. For a second, hope bloomed in his chest. "Did… Did it work?"

But then, the truth revealed itself.

With a deafening roar, the meteor tore through the smoke, flames licking its jagged surface as it continued its furious descent—completely unfazed.

Genos' expression darkened. "No... impact resistance barely registered."

His internal system pinged.[Collision Imminent: 19 seconds to impact.][Required Charge Time: 2 seconds.]

I only need two seconds to charge... That might be enough.

Caught in sudden contemplation, Genos's processors began racing through calculations.

That's when S-Class Hero, Silver Fang (Bang) landed beside him, as silent and smooth as the wind. His stern gaze flicked from the meteor to Genos. "There isn't much time left."

Genos didn't even turn. "I'm aware. But I won't back down."

Silver Fang studied him, interested in what this young hero could do.

Without hesitation, Genos reached into his chest compartment and removed his power core, gripping it tightly as he slid it into a chamber embedded in his arm.

The change was immediate.

A blazing surge of energy flooded through his circuits. The seams on his body began to glow orange-hot. Steam hissed from his back as the intense energy buildup strained against his frame.

His feet slid slightly as he braced himself. His palm opened, facing the meteor. Plasma began charging at the center of his hand, light spiraling outward.

"Maximum output—ACTIVATED!"

A titanic beam of condensed plasma exploded from his arm, illuminating the sky in a blinding column of energy. The air around the beam cracked and warped from the sheer intensity of the heat. The blast slammed into the meteor, pushing against it with everything Genos had.

For a moment, the meteor slowed. The blinding clash of forces painted the sky with waves of light and fire.

Silver Fang narrowed his eyes. "It… it looks like it's working?"

Genos, still holding the blast, turned his head slightly. "Really?"

Silver Fang sighed. "No. Never mind. I was just imagining it."

Genos's power began to waver, the energy in his core rapidly depleting. His body smoked, servos straining, joints locking up under the stress.

And then—

The beam flickered… and faded.

Genos dropped to his knees, smoke pouring off his frame, his systems approaching critical. The meteor remained—unstoppable.

The Hero Arrives

A new voice cut through the chaos.

"You did well, Genos."

Silver Fang and Genos turned sharply. A bald-headed figure in a yellow jumpsuit, red gloves, and white cape had stepped onto the rooftop.

Genos gasped, recognizing the presence immediately. "Master…!"

Silver Fang frowned. "Who are you? And how did you get up here?"

Saitama, looking determined, stepped forward, his expression unshaken. "Oh, I'm just a hero for fun."

Without another word, he crouched slightly, preparing to launch into the sky, his fist tightening as he readied himself to obliterate the meteor.

But just before he could take off—

A glint of light streaked through the sky.

All three heroes looked up.

A figure was descending rapidly, flying past the meteor like a divine comet, soaring straight toward them.

Saitama squinted. "Is that… a bird? Or a plane?"

Genos, scanning the approaching entity, shook his head. "No, Master. It's a man."

Saitama blinked, unimpressed. "Huh."

Then, in an instant, the figure came to a sharp halt in front of them. Floating effortlessly in midair, a teenage warrior—tall, well-built, with a dark red cape billowing behind him—hovered just above the rooftop. His blue eyes glowed slightly, his presence exuding an aura of sheer power.

Damian thought to himself, "Man, I hope I made that look as cool as Sung Jin-Woo from Solo Leveling."

Saitama muttered under his breath, "Now that's a badass entrance."

The young man hovered just above the roof, calm and composed, his crimson glowing eyes scanning the trio in front of him. Then, in a confident voice, he spoke. "Hello. I'm Damian. Looks like you could use some help."

The three heroes stood speechless. Silver Fang began to open his mouth to reply, but before he could speak, Damian suddenly turned—rotating a full 180 degrees to face the sky. His gaze locked onto the incoming meteor.

Raising his hand slowly, he activated Ruler's Authority.

An invisible force erupted from him, rippling through the air like a shockwave. The rooftop vibrated subtly beneath their feet.

Saitama took a casual step forward, brows furrowed. "Hey, I got here first. Are you sure you can handle it?"

But Damian didn't answer. His eyes remained locked on the meteor as his outstretched hand clenched. With precise control, he enveloped the massive rock in a telekinetic grip, forming an unseen hand around it.

A powerful resistance surged through the air—an overwhelming pressure—as if space itself had suddenly grown heavier.

Then, without warning, the meteor—less than ten seconds from impact—stopped moving.

It hung in the sky, completely motionless, suspended by Damian's telekinesis.

He grunted as the strain pushed against him, his boots skidding slightly on the rooftop as the force pushed back. Saitama, now only inches away from tapping him on the shoulder, froze mid-motion.

And then—

With a sharp thrust of his palm, Damian pushed forward.

The meteor, massive and blazing, began to move—backward.

At first, it shifted slowly, grinding against gravity and inertia. But then, as Damian's force increased, it accelerated, soaring upward.

Saitama, Genos, and Silver Fang could only stare in stunned silence as the meteor began to look smaller as it went up into the sky.

Pure disbelief was written across every face.

Damian ascended upward, pushing the meteor with his telekinetic force. The city, once doomed, now had been saved. Within seconds, he broke through the atmosphere, reaching the void of space. With one final push, he sent the massive rock hurtling away from Earth's orbit.

In less than a minute, the disaster had been averted.

Silver Fang, arms crossed, exhaled in amazement. "Well… looks like we might have a new S-Class hero."

Saitama groaned. "Ugh. Another handsome guy stealing my spotlight."

Silver Fang stood frozen, his eyes still locked onto the sky where the mysterious young man had vanished. His thoughts raced, replaying the impossible feat he had just witnessed. A Dragon-level meteor disaster, effortlessly handled by someone he had never even heard of before. He had seen countless warriors in his time, but none who could compare to that display of power and control.

As he remained lost in thought, a sudden, almost imperceptible shift in the air behind him sent a shiver down his spine. Reflexively, he turned—and there he was.

Damian stood mere feet away, having returned without a sound. His deep red ethereal cape billowed gently despite the still air, and his blue eyes reflected the city's glow like sapphire. The sheer suddenness of his appearance left Silver Fang momentarily speechless.

To shake off the moment, Bang cleared his throat, catching both Saitama's and Genos's attention.

Saitama, still holding Genos, quickly stood up to face Damian—unaware that he had just dropped Genos.

At the same time, Silver Fang instinctively extended a hand. "Ah, young man, that was quite the—"

Before he could finish, Damian moved in a blur. In the blink of an eye, he caught Genos mid-fall and gently lifted him, steadying him with surprising care.

Saitama was able to follow the movement, but Silver Fang blinked in confusion. "Was that pure speed… or teleportation?" he murmured to himself.

Still cradling Genos, Damian turned and bowed respectfully to Saitama. "I sincerely apologize for stealing your moment. But I had a feeling you were about to punch the meteor."

Saitama scratched his cheek, clearly both annoyed and intrigued. "Tch. No problem," he mumbled. "So, uh… who are you? And do you know me or something? What's with all the bowing?"

Damian rose to a one-quarter bow, calm and composed on the outside—though inwardly, nerves bubbled beneath the surface. This was it. His chance.

"I want you to be my master."

Genos, despite his weakened state, smirked. "Heh… I see. My master truly is the strongest. Even someone this powerful wants to learn from him."

Silver Fang narrowed his eyes. He had been planning to recruit Damian for his dojo… but now, just like Genos, this mysterious warrior was offering himself to Saitama.

Saitama glanced at Damian, then Genos, then Silver Fang. He let out a thoughtful sigh.

"Hmmm… Maybe having two good-looking students will help my popularity. Might even boost my hero rank."

He looked back at Damian. "So, what's your deal? And you can stop bowing now."

Damian rose, still holding Genos, who now looked between the two with hopeful eyes.

Taking a deep breath, Damian decided on partial honesty.

"My name is Damian Blood. I come from a planet far, far away… Krypton. Or rather, what's left of it. It was destroyed, and I am one of the last of my kind."

Silver Fang raised a brow, intrigued. Genos silently processed the information, running calculations and storing everything.

Saitama blinked. "Huh. That sucks."

Damian nodded solemnly, then continued. "I have certain abilities—flight, super strength, enhanced speed, vision beyond human comprehension, solar energy projection, and telekinesis. But most importantly, I can sense aura."

His eyes locked with Saitama's. "And yours… is unlike anything I've ever seen. It's unquantifiable. Limitless."

Saitama blinked again. "Aura?"

"Yes," Damian said. "I came to Earth after hearing rumors about its powerful inhabitants—heroes, monsters, and powerful warriors such as yourself. My goal is to train and grow stronger."

He clenched his fist, eyes full of conviction. "Please. Let me train under you."

Saitama scratched the back of his head. "Train, huh? I mean… I don't really have much to teach, but if you're cool with that—"

Damian's face lit up. "Thank you, Master."

Saitama sighed. "Yeah, uh… you don't have to call me 'Master.' It's a little much with Genos already calling me that."

Damian perked up. "Got it. Should I just call you One Punch Man? Or Saitama?"

Saitama blinked. "Wait… One Punch Man? That actually sounds kind of cool."

He smirked. "Way better than 'Caped Baldy,' that's for sure. Maybe I'll use that as my new hero name."

Then his expression turned a bit wary. "So, uh… since you're basically an alien, where exactly are you planning to stay?"

Damian looked at him with genuine sincerity. "Actually, I have nowhere to go. Would it be alright if I stayed with you?"

Saitama's face immediately soured. "Ehhh…"

Before he could finish protesting, Genos cut in.

"Yes, that's an excellent idea, Master. I'll arrange his accommodations immediately. Having him around will be helpful for training, answering hero summons, and he could help out with all the chores!"

Genos's mind drifted off to doing laundry and cleaning dishes...

Saitama groaned. "Fine. Just don't eat all my food. I only go shopping when there's a sale."

Before anyone could respond, Damian reached out into the air. The space in front of him distorted, rippling as if reality itself had bent.

Saitama, Genos, and Silver Fang tensed, their eyes fixed on the anomaly forming in the open air.

With a smooth motion, Damian pulled something from the void—a large, grease-stained pizza box labeled SCP-458.

"Actually, Saitama," Damian said with a grin. "Do you like pizza?"
