Poooof!
The box opened itself, and Damian slowly cracked one eye open, anticipation gnawing at him. His heart skipped a beat as golden light radiated from the system interface.
[Congratulations!] [SCP-458: The Never-Ending Pizza Box has been acquired.] Would you like to inspect now?
Damian blinked. "What?" He had expected another powerful ability or weapon, but… a pizza box? He also knew about SCPs, based on his memories from his previous life, but he wasn't particularly familiar with many SCPs other than the most popular ones, like SCP-096.
His brows furrowed as he tapped "inspect."
A new panel unfolded.
[SCP-458: The Never-Ending Pizza Box]
Origin: SCP Foundation
Description: A seemingly ordinary pizza box that, when opened, produces the holder's favorite type of pizza, fresh and hot. The box never runs out of pizza and does not require external energy or ingredients.
Effect: Infinite, customized food source.
Damian stared at the description for a long moment. Then, a grin broke across his face. "Okay… that's actually amazing."
Sure, his Kryptonian genes allowed him to live off solar radiation alone, but having a consistent food source was never a bad thing. Plus, nothing beat good food, and if this worked as described, it meant unlimited, perfectly cooked meals whenever he wanted.
With growing curiosity, he reached into his system storage and pulled out SCP-458.
The pizza box materialized in his hands, looking completely ordinary—just a standard, grease-stained cardboard box with a pizza logo on top. He hesitated, then flipped open the lid.
A wave of warm, savory aroma hit him immediately. Inside was a freshly baked BBQ chicken pizza, steam still rising from the melted cheese and tangy sauce. Damian blinked.
"No way."
Tentatively, he picked up a slice, feeling the heat radiate through his fingers. The cheese stretched as he pulled it apart, and without hesitation, he took a bite. His eyes widened. It was perfect—the right balance of smoky barbecue sauce, tender chicken, and melted cheese. The crust had the ideal crispness. He hadn't realized how much he missed the simple pleasure of eating good food until now.
"Alright, system," he mumbled through a mouthful, "you really know how to treat a guy."
As he continued eating, he navigated to the World Traversal tab. The interface shifted, revealing a single glowing ticket.
[World Traversal Ticket]
All traversal tickets are one-time use. The destination will be displayed once activated.
Damian swallowed his bite, suddenly more alert.
"So, this is my way out of here."
He stared at the message, fingers hovering over the activation option. This was a gamble. If he activated it now, he could be thrown into an unknown universe, potentially one with gods far stronger than those in the DC Universe. Then again, the system hadn't led him astray yet. It had guided him, made him stronger, and given him resources. Would it really throw him somewhere beyond his ability to survive?
Still, caution was key. He finished his final slice of pizza, licking the sauce from his fingers, and leaned back in his chair, deep in thought.
"I need a plan before I go anywhere."
He listed his priorities mentally.
"First, I need to unlock all my Kryptonian powers—especially flight. If I can't maneuver in a new environment, I'm at a major disadvantage. Beyond that, I need to sunbathe for an extended period before going anywhere. Why leave now when I can already push my powers further?"
His eyes flicked toward the distant yellow sun through the cockpit window, its golden light promising more strength.
"Yeah… I'll make sure I'm ready first. Then, I'll see where this ticket wants to take me."
A smirk crossed his face. If he played this smart, he wouldn't just survive. He'd dominate wherever he ended up next.
Damian leaned forward toward the ship's console.
"Alpha, take us closer to the star. I need maximum solar absorption."
"Affirmative," the AI responded.
The engines roared to life, vibrations coursing through the ship as it propelled itself forward. The vast gas giant that had served as his hiding spot shrank behind him, its swirling storms casting eerie shadows across space. The yellow dwarf star ahead grew larger, its radiant brilliance intensifying as the ship surged forward.
As the ship moved into optimal range, Damian turned his attention back to his system inventory. His fingers tapped over the interface until he reached his first acquisition—the Vibranium Carbon Nanite Super-Suit. A customization prompt appeared.
"Alright, let's make this mine."
The suit materialized before him. In its base form, it was sleek and featureless, its nanite composition shifting subtly like liquid metal. He opened the customization menu.
"Hmmmm, black, blood-red, and gold. Yeah, that looks menacing."
The colors blended seamlessly—the black forming the dominant base, absorbing light like a void. Gold lined the edges, and a blood-red cape added a regal yet majestic flare. Lastly, on the chest is a red sun symbol, a unique symbol as a reminder of Krypton.
[Suit Design Complete.]
[Would you like to activate synchronization?]
He exhaled. "Let's do it."
The moment he accepted, the suit dispersed. Millions of microscopic nanites exploded outward, swirling around him in a controlled storm of liquid metal. The air vibrated with energy as the nanites wrapped around his body, forming and solidifying into place in less than two nanoseconds.
When the process was complete, Damian stood up, turning to the reflective surface of the cockpit window.
His reflection stared back at him, clad in a suit of pure technological perfection. It fit like a second skin—no seams, no unnecessary bulk, only streamlined power. The blood-red accents glowed faintly, pulsating like a living thing. The gold trim caught the light of the star outside, giving him an almost divine presence.
A handsome but devilish smile crept onto his lips. "Now that's more like it."
With one last command, he asked Alpha to integrate with the suit. As the process began, Damian murmured to himself, realizing something: the system wasn't randomly awarding him prizes. Every gift had a purpose. The suit, the pizza box, the telekinesis—all were tools guiding him to become stronger.
His gaze drifted back to the cockpit window, staring at the sun, his source of life and power. As the ship drifted closer, he felt the energy flowing through him, saturating every cell in his body. He closed his eyes, basking in the warmth.
Then, something changed.
The energy he was absorbing was converting, expanding—and he could feel it. He lifted his arms, opening his eyes. His vision shifted.
"Oh wow. Look at my bones."
His x-ray vision had activated instinctively. He blinked, adjusting his focus, and the ability ceased. He activated it again, this time seamlessly, like second nature. Adjusting his pupils, he turned it off, shifting to magnification. The suit material began to enlarge under his gaze—zooming in until, in mere nanoseconds, he was staring directly at a single nanobot, dissecting every intricate detail.
Amazed, Damian opened his system panel.

A slow grin spread across his face.
"My strength, speed, perception, and brain are all at basic enhanced levels. I need to develop these abilities from enhanced to super abilities."
"And most important of all, I need to unlock the Bio-electric Aura."
"From my understanding, each of a Kryptonian's cells produces a bio-electric aura. This aura can interact with gravitational waves, giving Kryptonians the ability of flight and the strength to carry objects with a volume and mass that exceeds the individual holding said object. Under normal circumstances, an object with greater volume and mass than the person lifting it would collapse or break at the point from where it was lifted. Hence, if Superman tried to stop a plane from crashing and attempted to lift the plane without the Bio-Electric Aura, he would simply puncture through the plane."
"So I need to get this power unlocked to do any of Superman's feats seen in the comics."
With a gleam in his eye, Damian commanded his AI,
"Alpha, I'm stepping outside to sunbathe. Set an alarm for six months. I won't leave this star until I've unlocked everything."
With unwavering determination, Damian stepped out into space. The ship's cockpit closed behind him—a mere speck in the void of space.
Damian felt no sensation to breathe and no panic. His Kryptonian cells automatically adapted to the vacuum of space.
Then, with a wave of his hand, a ripple in space, Damian stored the ship in his system inventory.
And now, a Kryptonian that was never meant to survive would bask in the rays of a celestial star body and wait until he was ready.
6 months later…
Time had stretched like the light of the distant stars, but for Damian, it had been a mere half a year of nonstop training, absorbing, and growing. The radiant, unyielding energy of the yellow dwarf star consumed every second, every breath. He had bathed in its warmth for so long that his body had become something otherworldly, something... divine.
Now, the solar winds whipped around him, his form cutting through the cosmos, suspended mere thousands of meters from the blazing surface of the sun. The gold of his suit had shifted, glowing brighter and brighter as he absorbed the energy, his every movement radiating power. His skin seemed to burn with an ethereal golden hue, as though he himself were a fragment of the sun's very essence. His body rippled with untold strength, each muscle thrumming with the might of a god.

Damian glided effortlessly through the solar flares, the star's heat caressing his face, though his body remained unscathed by the intense radiation. The very atmosphere around him seemed to shimmer and warp, distorting as if an energy field surrounded his entire being. His hands were outstretched, his chest broad and proud, a silhouette that glowed in the midst of the sun's ever-churning surface.
Then suddenly, in Damian's basking glory, an alarm sounded, "Sir, this is your alarm reminder. Six months have passed as of this very second."
Without hesitation, he launched himself into motion, his body a blur as he accelerated, ripping through the cosmos at hypersonic speeds. The stars stretched into streaks of light behind him, and the gas giant he had once orbited grew rapidly larger in his view. Every particle of space seemed to distort around him as he surged forward, his body cutting through the void like a meteor, a force of nature unleashed.
Faster. Faster. The world around him became an indistinct blur of color and starlight as he approached the moon he had set his sights on. In what seemed like the blink of an eye, he shot past the outer atmosphere of the gas giant, closing in on the barren moon in a fraction of a second.
His speed intensified, the cosmic winds trailing behind him like a comet's tail as he neared the surface. Then, in a sudden stop, he hit the surface of the moon with such force that it felt like the entire celestial body had trembled under his arrival.
CRASH!
Damian landed in a superheroic stance—one knee bent, one fist pressed into the moon's dust. The impact sent a shockwave rippling outward, scattering dust, rocks, and debris into the vacuum of space, like a violent cosmic explosion.
Without hesitation, Damian stood, his legs bending, his muscles flexing as he lunged forward. In an instant, he covered the distance of five hundred meters, arriving in front of a giant boulder. His fist rocketed through the air, smashing into the rock with the force of a meteor strike. The boulder shattered into countless fragments, scattering across the moon's surface.
Then, something extraordinary happened.
Damian's eyes began to glow a brilliant red, and he moved again with imperceptible speed.
Two beams of pure solar energy shot from his eyes, cutting through the air like concentrated lasers of raw power. They were precise, each one striking the smallest fragment of the shattered boulder. As the beams moved, they vaporized the fragments one by one, not missing a single piece, disintegrating them into nothingness. The power of the sun flowed through him, directed and refined into perfect control.
The beams finally ceased, and Damian's eyes slowly stopped glowing. He stood silently for a moment, feeling the residual energy course through his body.
"Alpha," Damian called out, his voice calm but inquisitive, "What was my max speed?"
"Sir, your max speed is currently 15 percent of the speed of light, or to be exact, 44,968,868.7 meters per second," Alpha responded.
Damian allowed himself a small, satisfied smile. He felt the power surging within him, but even now, he knew he wasn't there yet.
"We're still nowhere near the speed of light," he mused aloud. "But in time, we will be."
With a final nod, he opened his system panel, his mind already racing ahead.
The [World Traversal] tab was displayed before him, an invitation to the next step of his journey.
Without hesitation, Damian selected the traversal ticket.
A prompt appeared:
Would you like to activate the Traversal ticket? Yes or No?
He hit Yes without a moment's doubt.
The system responded instantly. The ticket disappeared with a soft "poof," and a new message appeared:
Loading World Information...World Traversal Synchronized
[World Traversal Destination: One Punch Man Universe]
Then, suddenly, a portal appeared in front of Damian.
Damian stared at the notification and the portal, the weight of the decision sinking in. His lips parted in a subtle expression of surprise.
"The world of One Punch Man, huh?" He chuckled softly to himself, a sense of excitement and wonder flashing in his eyes. "Besides Saitama, I should be okay... But there is that God creating monsters… and such. Oh well, let's hope it's earlier in the story."
Instead of hesitation or fear, Damian felt a strange confidence. The stories of Earth's mightiest hero, Saitama, and the terrifying monsters that lurked in the shadows weren't enough to intimidate him. If anything, they fueled his desire to prove himself, to see how a Kryptonian would fare against such unimaginable power.
He wasn't just going to survive. He was going to dominate.
Before stepping into the portal, Damian quickly checked his [STATUS]:
