(I will start writing from chapter 32 as i have already translated those chapters so these chapter does not have any system prompts no matter how much the other person is angry)
"Oh? What does that mean?"
Tazuna looked away, guilt flashing across his face, but he kept his mouth shut, unwilling to answer.
Kakashi walked up to the fallen ninja, checked his belongings, and continued, "Mr. Tazuna, it's obvious that these two ninjas were after you."
"Yet, the mission you entrusted us with wasn't supposed to involve threats like trained killers—it was supposed to be harassment from bandits or thugs at most."
"Given the current circumstances, this mission is at least B-rank or higher."
His voice was calm but carried a distinct edge. "I know you've been hiding something, but if you don't tell us the truth, we can't continue escorting you."
"Oh… alright, alright," Tazuna sighed, finally giving in. "I'll tell you everything."
He began explaining the dire situation in the Land of Waves. It was a small island nation surrounded by the sea, struggling under the oppressive rule of the tyrant Gato.
To liberate his homeland, Tazuna had begun constructing a bridge to connect the Land of Waves to the Land of Fire. This bridge would allow free trade, boost the economy, and ultimately give his people a better life. However, the powerful and corrupt businessman Gato saw this as a threat to his control.
Halfway through the construction, Gato forcibly halted the project, using his vast wealth to hire mercenaries and assassins to eliminate anyone who opposed him—including Tazuna.
"But hiring high-level ninjas for protection is expensive," Tazuna admitted, scratching his head. "I didn't have the money for an official B-rank mission, so I… I lied about the difficulty."
His voice was filled with regret.
Sakura was deeply moved by his words, tears welling up in her eyes. "You… you just wanted to save your people…"
Tazuna, sensing their sympathy, put on a pitiful expression. "So… you're not going to abandon this poor old man now, are you?"
Through their short time together, he had come to understand that Kakashi's team wasn't just skilled—they were kind-hearted.
Naruto smirked, already knowing the full story from his knowledge of the original events. He stayed silent, letting the scene play out.
"Mr. Kakashi, we can't just ignore him!" Sakura pleaded, turning to her teacher. "He's fighting for his entire country!"
Kakashi shifted his gaze to Naruto and Sasuke. "What about you two? What do you think?"
Naruto shrugged. "Doesn't matter to me. I'll follow your lead."
In truth, he wasn't worried. The only real obstacle would be a certain rogue Jōnin, but that just made things more exciting. Besides, this was his first mission outside Konoha, and he wasn't about to head back early.
"Same here," Sasuke said, crossing his arms.
Kakashi smiled approvingly. "Alright, then. We'll continue the mission."
For a ninja, having a kind heart wasn't a weakness—it was a necessity. If one only cared about money and followed orders with cold indifference, they would never learn to value their comrades.
With no further interruptions, the journey continued smoothly. After about three hours of travel, they arrived at the coast.
Kakashi's team and Tazuna rented a paddle boat to cross the sea toward the Land of Waves. The boatman stood at the bow, steadily steering through the gentle waters. The surface rippled with soft waves, and fish occasionally leaped out, catching fresh air before vanishing beneath again.
As they drifted, the group passed time by chatting, the stunning scenery filling them with a rare sense of peace and relaxation.
Another three hours passed before a massive bridge came into view. Though impressive in scale, a large section at its center had been destroyed, leaving behind a jagged, gaping hole.
Naruto's sharp eyes caught the signs of deliberate sabotage—traces of an explosion still visible along the edges.
Naruto pulled up the system interface for lottery draw.

[Congratulations! You have drawn Wind Style jutsu—Vacuum Bullets!]
As the system's voice echoed in his mind, a ray of light shot out from the virtual panel and into Naruto's body.
A rush of information flooded his mind, filling him with a deep understanding of the Vacuum Bullets and its various applications.

[Spin Complete…]
[Congratulations! You have won… NOTHING!]
[System: Wow, look at you, all confident after getting two jutsu. Thought you were on a winning streak, huh? News flash—luck runs out. Maybe try crying; I hear it boosts drop rates.]
Naruto's eye twitched.
'WHAT?! NOTHING?!'
He stared at the empty notification like it had personally insulted his ancestors.
'No way… This has to be a bug! Where's my OP jutsu? My secret legendary technique? My ultimate power-up?!'
He clenched his fists, his soul screaming in silent agony.
Meanwhile, the system continued its mockery.
[System: Face it, champ. Not every spin's a jackpot. But hey, at least you didn't LOSE a jutsu… oh wait, should I add that feature?]
Naruto felt his heart stop for a second.
'This thing is evil…'
After paying the boatman, Kakashi and his team finally set foot in the Land of Waves. They followed a forest path leading toward the town, the atmosphere peaceful… at first.
As they walked, Sasuke suddenly tensed. "What's going on? Why is the mist getting thicker?"
Tazuna chuckled. "Some parts of the Land of Waves are naturally misty. This is normal."
But Naruto wasn't convinced. His eyes narrowed as the fog grew unnaturally dense. 'No… this isn't just some morning mist. Someone's here.'
Sure enough, his suspicions were confirmed in the next instant.
A massive sword came hurtling toward them, spinning wildly through the air with a high-pitched whine.
"Everyone, get down!" Kakashi shouted.
Without hesitation, he grabbed Tazuna and leapt out of harm's way. Sasuke rolled to the side just in time, narrowly avoiding the deadly blade.
Only Sakura remained frozen in place, staring at the incoming weapon in horror.
"Sakura, move!"
Naruto reacted instantly, grabbing her wrist and pulling her to safety.
BOOM!
The massive sword embedded itself deep into a tree behind them, its sheer weight shaking the ground.
A figure appeared, standing atop the weapon's hilt like it was a throne.
A shirtless man with bulging muscles, his lower face obscured by a bandaged mask. A Mist Village forehead protector was tied at an angle on his head, a deep scratch running through its center.
His sharp eyes scanned the group before locking onto Kakashi. "Well, well… I wasn't expecting to see the famous Copy Ninja here."
He rested a hand on his sword and smirked. "Tell you what—hand over the old man, and I'll let you all leave in one piece."
Kakashi's expression turned serious. He reached up and casually lifted his forehead protector, revealing his left eye.
A single, crimson Sharingan gleamed beneath.
"Sharingan?" Sasuke's eyes widened in shock. "Wait… does that mean… Kakashi-sensei is an Uchiha?!"
"Stay back, all of you," Kakashi ordered, his tone absolute. "Protect Tazuna. This man is not someone you can handle."
Sasuke and Sakura immediately took defensive positions, kunai in hand, flanking Tazuna.
Naruto, on the other hand, grinned. "Kakashi-sensei, can I fight him too?"
His eyes gleamed with excitement as he looked up at the infamous Zabuza Momochi.
It had been a while since he last fought a Jōnin. His strength had improved significantly, and this was the perfect chance to test himself.
Kakashi glanced at Naruto and nodded. "Fine but be careful."
A pleased smirk spread across Naruto's face as he cracked his knuckles. "Oh, don't worry. I've been waiting for a good fight."
Zabuza chuckled darkly, his grip tightening around the hilt of his blade. "Heh. You brats sure have guts. Let's see if you can back it up."
