Juvia led Kei and Wendy around the city, treating them to all sorts of food before finally guiding them out of the city.
"Gajeel doesn't live at the guild. He always stays by himself outside, and everyone thinks he's a weirdo."
As they walked, Juvia explained Gajeel's situation to Kei and Wendy. "That guy is really violent. Even the people in the guild don't like him much."
"No matter what business you have with him, be careful. He might start attacking you for no reason!"
Under Juvia's guidance, they quickly arrived at a forest outside the city. By a small creek, there was a simple wooden cabin.
"If everyone doesn't like Gajeel, then how do you know him, Juvia? And how do you know where he lives? Are you two friends?"
Wendy asked curiously.
"No, we're not friends. We've never even spoken."
Juvia admitted. The only reason she knew about Gajeel was because of the guild's introduction, and she found out where he lived purely by accident.
As the Rain Woman, she always brought rain wherever she went. So, she often sought out quiet, isolated places where she could be alone.
By chance, she discovered Gajeel's hideout in the forest.
The three of them approached the cabin. Before they got close, a spiky-haired guy with black hair burst out and attacked them without warning!
"Roar!"
A massive dragon phantom appeared behind Kei, its Dragon Aura combining with its Dragon Roar. The effect of both abilities used together was immensely powerful.
Gajeel, who had just transformed his body into steel, was sent flying by the attack, coughing up blood as his internal organs took a heavy blow.
He was pinned to the ground by Kei's overwhelming presence but stubbornly raised his head, glaring at Kei and the others with hatred.
"You dare glare at me?"
Kei glared back with even fiercer intent, his aura crashing down like a violent storm. The already weakened Gajeel's fighting spirit crumbled in an instant.
Kei then walked over and placed his hand on Gajeel's body. As if it was the most natural thing in the world, the Iron Dragon's power within Gajeel began to be absorbed.
"Grandeeney, what the hell are you doing?!"
Metalicana, the Iron Dragon residing within Gajeel, immediately contacted Grandeeney in a panic.
"What does this have to do with me? It was your kid who attacked mine first!"
"If your kid wasn't strong enough and got beaten, what does that have to do with me? I didn't do anything!"
Grandeeney's tone was full of dissatisfaction. Clearly, she didn't appreciate Metalicana's accusing tone.
"You... You..."
Metalicana stammered, unable to argue back. It was indeed Gajeel who made the first move.
But how did Grandeeney's kid get so powerful?! Weren't they all raising children together? How did her kid end up being so much stronger than his?!
He wasn't even using Dragon Slayer Magic. Just a Dragon Roar and Dragon Aura had completely crushed Gajeel!
"Wait a minute, how can a human kid use Dragon Roar and Dragon Aura? Isn't he human?!"
Metalicana finally realized the crucial point!
"My child is a genius! A one-in-a-million, genius dragon!"
"Plus, he's being raised and taught by me, the so-called Wise Sky Dragon. This level of strength is perfectly ordinary!"
Grandeeney never missed an opportunity to brag about her child. "By the way, did you sense that attack that tore through the sky earlier?"
"Huh? Oh, you mean that attack that pierced through the sky and shattered the clouds?"
"Yes."
"I saw it. Not bad. But what does that have to do with you?"
"That was my child's doing!"
Grandeeney raised her head with pride. Her child was just too outstanding; she couldn't help but brag.
"No way!"
"That kid is just a tiny human! How could he possibly unleash such a powerful attack?!"
Metalicana was in disbelief. But the more he thought about it, the more it made sense. The sensation of that attack was indeed similar to Grandeeney's signature moves!
While the two dragons bickered and bragged, Kei had completely absorbed Gajeel's Dragon Power.
His body began to darken and transform. His entire body turned metallic—not just his skin but his entire body became steel.
Even his internal organs could be converted to metal. However, maintaining the metal state consumed energy.
"Iron elements can now be absorbed as energy! Inhale!"
Kei took a deep breath. Whether he was surrounded by fire, iron, or air, he could now continuously replenish his energy.
Maybe when he fully developed into a True Dragon, he could gain energy from any environment!
"Fire, Air, Iron—Fusion!"
Kei's entire body began to emit a dark red ripple. This was the form created by combining the three Dragon Powers. It was scorching, sharp, resilient, and powerful, all at once!
"This... This brat! What kind of ability is that? How did he learn my power?!"
Metalicana was completely stunned by what he saw. He immediately asked Grandeeney what was going on.
"That's just this child's natural ability. Don't worry. Your kid only had his Dragon Power absorbed."
"Igneel's kid had his Dragon Power absorbed before too, and he only felt a little tired. There was no harm done."
Grandeeney calmly explained.
"You met Igneel? And even his kid lost to your kid?!"
Metalicana was utterly shocked. After all, the Fire Dragon King, Igneel, was known for his terrifying strength and explosive temper. And now his child had been defeated by Grandeeney's child?!
"Yes, the hot-headed Fire Dragon King Igneel, and me, the kind-hearted Sky Dragon Grandeeney. That's what everyone knows."
"Wait!"
"You aren't residing within that kid! You're in that little blue-haired girl beside him. Phew, she looks so weak."
Metalicana finally noticed Wendy. He was relieved to see that his own child wasn't defeated by Grandeeney herself.
"Although Wendy is weak and not good at fighting, she's very talented at supportive abilities. Paired with her brother's combat abilities..."
"The two of them will definitely become the strongest of their generation!"
Grandeeney's voice was full of confidence. Although the dragons were old friends, there was still an underlying rivalry.
They couldn't fight each other anymore, but having their children outperform the others' children was just as good as winning the competition themselves!
"Hmm... I've made up my mind. Let's kill him."
Kei looked at Gajeel, who was lying on the ground with no strength left to fight. After thinking it over, he spoke calmly.
"What?!"
"Huh?!"
Both Metalicana and Grandeeney exclaimed in shock at the same time!
