Chapter 11: The Breaking Point (Final Chapter of Volume 2)
Silence stretched between them, thick with tension.
Zayn's grip tightened around his gun. "Aria. Nadia. Step away from him."
Aria's throat was dry. She glanced at Nadia, searching for an answer, a sign—but Nadia was staring at the ground, lost in thought.
"Time's up," Rayan said. "You've seen the truth. You know what's coming. Either you join us… or you don't leave here at all."
The masked figures moved in.

The Choice
Aria made the first move.
She pretended to step forward, as if surrendering—then in a split second, she grabbed the nearest masked figure's wrist and twisted it hard. A loud crack. A yell of pain.
Chaos erupted.
Zayn fired a shot—not to kill, but to distract. The bullet shattered a nearby car window, making everyone flinch.
Nadia snapped out of her hesitation. She lunged at Rayan, shoving him back.
"RUN!" she screamed.
They bolted for the exit. Footsteps thundered behind them. Aria felt someone grab her hoodie—she twisted, elbowed their ribs, and kept going.
Zayn's car was waiting. They piled in, and Imran slammed the gas.
The masked figures didn't chase them.
But as they sped away, Aria turned back and saw Rayan standing there, watching.
Smiling.
Like he knew something they didn't.

One Week Later
They had gone into hiding. Fake names, burner phones, constantly on the move.
But the nightmares still came.
Samir's death. The masked figures. The list of names.
And Rayan's voice, echoing in Aria's head:
"The world is changing. You can't stop it."
One evening, a new message arrived on Imran's phone.
No sender. No number.
Just three words.
"This is only beginning."
Aria exhaled slowly. She looked at the others.
"We have to end this," she said. "Before they find us first."
Zayn nodded. "Then we take the fight to them."

Coming Soon: Volume 2 – Revenant Rising
They thought they had escaped. They thought they had a choice. But the deeper they dig, the more they realize—Project Revenant isn't just selecting survivors. It's building something much worse.
And the question is no longer who is behind it.
It's what happens when it's completed.
