"Are you satisfied now?" Bai Huamei wiped the corners of her mouth, staring coldly at Jiang Che. There was no choice; in order to regain her shares and reestablish a foothold in the Dulong Security Group, she had to endure the humiliation and let Jiang Che bully her.
"Very satisfied." Jiang Che nodded with a pleased expression. "Go get someone to draft a share transfer contract." As he spoke, Jiang Che lit a victory cigarette.
Bai Huamei left immediately, fearing that Jiang Che would change his mind, and she hurried to prepare the share transfer contract. Otherwise, she would have nowhere to cry.
Soon, Bai Huamei returned with a contract in hand. Jiang Che took a quick look, confirmed that the woman had not made any mistakes with the document, and signed it without hesitation. Seeing that Jiang Che didn't back out, the weight on Bai Huamei's heart finally lifted. Although the price she paid this time was a bit high, the outcome was still favorable overall.
"I don't have anything else to do, so I'll leave first. If Ye Chen comes to you again, just let him know the news." Jiang Che tightened his belt, got up from the sofa, and left the box directly. Bai Huamei didn't try to stop him. Once Jiang Che's figure disappeared, she too left the bar, heading straight for the Dulong Security Group.
After returning to the manor, all the bodyguards that Jiang Che had sent out earlier also came back.
"What's the result?" Jiang Che asked lightly, already knowing what to expect. After all, Ye Chen had to buy so much ammunition at once; it was definitely not for him alone.
"Jiang Shao, there are indeed many foreigners in that clubhouse," one of the bodyguards reported, scratching his head.
"Okay, I see. Let's head to the gate." Jiang Che waved his hand, dismissing the group, and then drove directly toward the detention center. This matter was of great importance, and Jiang Che planned to speak directly with Director Wang about it.
Upon arriving at the detention center, Jiang Che walked straight in.
"Sir, do you want to call the police?" The officer on duty saw Jiang Che approaching and greeted him warmly.
"No, I have something to discuss. Is Director Wang available?"
"Director Wang is in the office. May I have your name?" The police officer studied Jiang Che closely, confirming that he had never seen him before.
"My name is Jiang Che. Please tell Director Wang that I need to see him." He was no stranger to this Jiang Che; they had dealt with each other several times when upper management decided to develop the Chengdong auction. Was this guy here to report for duty? But why would he come to the detention center for that?
"Let him in." The officer didn't think much about it; after all, Jiang Che was an outstanding entrepreneur in Jiangbei City.
After a while, Jiang Che followed the police officer to Wang Yang's office.
"Director Wang..."
"Mr. Jiang, you are here..." After the usual pleasantries, Wang Yang made Jiang Che a cup of hot tea and asked curiously, "Mr. Jiang, are you here to report on the Chengdong Development Zone?"
"No, I'm here for something else," Jiang Che replied with a smile, shaking his head.
"What's worth your visit, Chairman Jiang?" Wang Yang joked.
"It's about a huge case involving smuggled guns and ammunition and overseas mercenary forces."
"What did you say?" Wang Yang was taken aback, staring at Jiang Che in confusion.
"I recently received information that a group of mercenaries from Heizhou has sneaked into the territory, planning to illegally buy guns and ammunition in Jiangbei City."
"Is what you're saying true?" Wang Yang frowned, looking at Jiang Che seriously. If what Jiang Che claimed was true, it would be a serious situation. The entry of smuggled mercenaries was already a major
crime, and if they were planning to buy weapons in the territory, that would only complicate matters further.
"Of course it's true; how could I joke about something like this?" Jiang Che shrugged.
"When are they planning to trade? Where is the location of the transaction? Who is facilitating it?" Wang Yang fired off three questions in quick succession, clearly anxious. If this situation was mishandled, he could lose his position.
"I don't know the specifics yet, but I will find out in a few days. I came here to inform you so that you can take action against this group of criminals." Jiang Che shook his head, acknowledging that Ye Chen had not yet acted and no one knew what his next move would be.
"You're not kidding me, are you?" Wang Yang sounded skeptical again. After all, Jiang Che had no evidence at all, making it hard to believe that foreign forces were planning to buy guns and ammunition in Jiangbei City.
"Does Director Wang think I would joke about something like this?" Jiang Che replied. "If you don't believe me, you can have someone organize a raid against pornography and check Fuhuazu Road on Tian'an Road in the north of the city."
"But I advise against acting rashly, so as not to alert the criminals and scare off their leaders."
"What you said makes sense. In this situation, we should wait for them to trade and then take them all down," Wang Yang said, narrowing his eyes thoughtfully. He didn't fully trust Jiang Che's words but planned to send someone undercover to investigate.
