Chapter 25 - 25. Xiao Yuhao In Dangerous!

After Wang Feng bid farewell to Bei Bei and Tang Ya, he followed Huo Yuhao from a distance, using his Martial Soul, the Lotus of Harmony, to conceal himself.

The Lotus of Harmony had awakened another new ability—now it could hide Wang Feng's presence by allowing him to harmonize with nature, making it impossible for others to sense his existence.

Although the Lotus of Harmony could let him blend with nature, it also required a considerable amount of time to activate.

Wang Feng quickly tried to catch up with Huo Yuhao. However, he ended up getting lost. The time it took to activate the concealment ability had given Huo Yuhao enough time to disappear from his sight.

"What should I do now? Should I keep searching?"

Wang Feng pondered. Just as he walked a little farther, he suddenly felt a terrifying spiritual pressure descend upon his head almost instantly.

This mental force made Wang Feng feel dazed for a brief moment, but because his spiritual power was strong enough, he quickly snapped out of it.

However, Bei Bei and Tang Ya, who were also speeding up to catch up with Huo Yuhao, were overwhelmed by the fluctuation and were dazed for a few moments.

Although the mental shock wasn't particularly destructive, it was enough to make them lose their ability to think for a short time.

At this moment, the southern edge of the Star Dou Forest was eerily silent.

When Wang Feng sensed this mental power, he grew more concerned for Huo Yuhao. Even someone like him had been stunned momentarily—what about Huo Yuhao, who was much weaker?

Wang Feng then sped up his search for Huo Yuhao. At that moment, the once clear sky suddenly darkened. Thunder rumbled across the heavens. The sunlight was completely blocked by the darkness. A suffocating pressure descended from above.

This phenomenon only lasted a short while before the sky returned to normal.

Wang Feng had a feeling that Huo Yuhao was near the place where the phenomenon occurred.

He set off toward that area to search for him.

Not long after, Wang Feng finally found Huo Yuhao. He was lying motionless on the ground, seemingly unconscious as if asleep.

As Wang Feng slowly approached Huo Yuhao, he noticed the body of a Wind Baboon beside him. He reached out to check Huo Yuhao's condition.

Just before his hand could touch Huo Yuhao, two figures suddenly rushed toward him at high speed.

"Ah!" With a startled cry, one figure accelerated and quickly arrived at Wang Feng's side, coming to a sudden stop.

"Oh no, we're still too late. Was Xiao Yuhao attacked? Why is he unconscious?" Tang Ya asked Wang Feng anxiously.

"I just got here too, and he was already like this when I arrived," Wang Feng replied, pulling back his hand that was about to touch Huo Yuhao.

Wang Feng pointed at the Wind Baboon beside Huo Yuhao. "Maybe he passed out from exhaustion after defeating a soul beast. Judging from Yuhao's condition, it looks like he used some kind of soul tool to kill this soul beast, but ran out of soul power and fainted."

Bei Bei walked over to the baboon and flipped it over. He could see a slanted wound more than a foot long across its chest, even cutting through its heart. It was clearly a fatal injury.

"This is a Wind Baboon. Judging by its size and muscle strength, it should be a ten-year-old soul beast. It's already dead."

At that moment, Wang Feng noticed a dagger tightly clutched in Huo Yuhao's hand.

Wang Feng tapped Huo Yuhao's wrist with his right index finger, and the White Tiger Dagger fell into his hand. He tried channeling energy into it, and suddenly, a faint blue light emerged from the blade.

"This must be the soul tool Yuhao used to defeat the ten-year-old Wind Baboon. Wind Baboons are quite strong and fast and possess innate soul skills. It's pretty impressive that Yuhao managed to kill it."

Tang Ya hugged Huo Yuhao and said, "What's the point of saying that now? This is all my fault for insisting on cleaning up, which took too long. If anything had happened to Xiao Yuhao, I would never forgive myself. I've decided that no matter what his talent is, I must convince him to join our Tang Sect."

Bei Bei saw the self-blaming expression on Tang Ya's face and couldn't help but comfort her: "It's alright, Xiao Ya. Don't worry, Brother Yuhao should be fine. Can't you see he's breathing normally? And he doesn't have any visible injuries."

Wang Feng also explained, "He should be okay. Judging by the position he fainted in, he probably hit a tree while fighting the Wind Baboon. He should recover after resting for a while."

After hearing multiple confirmations that Huo Yuhao was indeed fine, Tang Ya supported him and let him lean against her, quietly waiting for him to wake up.

After a while, a faint hum came from Huo Yuhao's mouth, and he slowly opened his dazed eyes.

The first person he saw was Wang Feng, who was quietly watching him from the side.

When Wang Feng saw Huo Yuhao wake up, he said, "Yuhao, you're awake. How are you feeling?"

Before Huo Yuhao could respond to Wang Feng's concern—

Tang Ya, who had been dozing off, heard Wang Feng say that Huo Yuhao had woken up. She quickly looked down at the person in her arms. Seeing Huo Yuhao blinking energetically, she let out a sigh of relief, then grabbed his head and rubbed it against hers.

"Wow! Xiao Haohao, you're finally awake. I was so worried about you." Tang Ya was overjoyed to see Huo Yuhao open his eyes.

Huo Yuhao felt a bit confused in his mind. After being roughed up by Tang Ya, his head finally cleared up after a moment. Then he couldn't help but mutter unconsciously, "Was I really not dreaming?"

Tang Ya giggled and pinched his arm. Huo Yuhao immediately felt the pain. "Sister Xiaoya, what are you doing?"

Tang Ya smiled and said, "I was helping you check if you were dreaming! Well? Are you awake now? You're really brave, going into the Great Star Dou Forest all by yourself."

Huo Yuhao scratched his head awkwardly. After encountering the Wind Baboon, he truly realized his own weakness and that he had overestimated himself. However, he quickly snapped out of his embarrassment due to the excitement he felt. He jumped up from the ground and activated the soul power within his body.

Bei Bei, Tang Ya, and Wang Feng watched as a ring of crystal white soul light rose from beneath Huo Yuhao's feet, slowly traveling upward to the top of his head, then gently descending again. It was his first soul ring.

Bei Bei instinctively recognized it as a ten-year soul ring. He was just a little confused as to why the white soul ring looked so clear, seemingly different from ordinary ten-year soul rings. Could it be that the Wind Baboon had a higher cultivation level?

After Huo Yuhao carefully sensed the changes within him, he leaped up and shouted, "Amazing! I did it!!!"

Wang Feng couldn't help but smile as he looked at Huo Yuhao's joyful face, thinking he was simply happy about obtaining his first soul ring.

When Bei Bei and Tang Ya saw the light shining in Huo Yuhao's martial spirit eyes, they were also a bit surprised.

Then they clearly sensed a fluctuation of soul power in Huo Yuhao's eyes and a type of mental wave that made them feel briefly dazed.

The spiritual fluctuations emitted from his eyes truly shocked the both of them.
