After working hard, Catte rushed home, worried that Ruby had been alone for too long. Upon arriving, he immediately went to check on Ruby and found her sleeping. Catte took this chance to clean himself up.

After taking a shower, he went back to Ruby and watched over her. While doing so, he thought to himself:

"What else can you do besides staying home, Ruby? I think you're better off going to kindergarten, but I don't have enough money to send you there," Catte thought as he looked at Ruby.

"Catte... Catte..." A voice came from the balcony.

Catte glanced toward the balcony, and to his shock, he saw the spirit of his late mother staring at him. Fearful, he tried to ignore it, believing it was just a hallucination. But then, his mother's spirit spoke again.

"Catte... I'm... sorry..." his mother said.

Catte couldn't respond to his mother's call. He could only cry silently. Suddenly—

Catte wiped his eyes and replied, "It's nothing... just got something in my eye."

"Hey, hey! What do you want?" Catte protested.

"Here, take this—500,000 USD. Save it for your dad's hospital bills and to pay off the debt," Colin said while handing him the money.

Catte continued to look around the moon, noticing the stars scattered across the sky. Holding his mother's hand, he curiously asked:

"Mom, what are those surrounding the moon?"

In reality, as he slept, Catte could only cry, longing for the warmth of his mother while lost in his beautiful dream.

Suddenly, he had the same dream again, but this time in a different place—walking through a park with his mother. Once more, he looked up at the moon, but this time, it was covered by clouds.

"Mom! Where's the moon?" Catte asked, his voice filled with curiosity.

However, his mother didn't answer. Instead, she placed her hand on his forehead, her expression filled with concern. Only a few words escaped her lips:

"Catte, are you running a fever?"

Confused, Catte touched his own forehead and realized the truth—he had a dangerously high fever. As an omega, such a fever could make him dizzy and disoriented.
