Holly, holding the baby in her arms, said tenderly,
"Would you like to come with me?" The baby, stretching out its little hands, tried to grab Holly while laughing.
"Alright, you're coming with me, you cutie."
Holly remembered a problem she needed to solve: his spaceship. She couldn't leave it there. The spaceship might have information about him and where he came from. Holly went back to the ship, took the key she had, and stored it. Still holding the baby in her arms, she pushed the ship with some difficulty to a more hidden spot. She knocked down some trees with her fists and used them to cover the spaceship. She used everything she could to camouflage it. It was a temporary solution; she would come back for it later. Luckily, she had landed in a remote place, so no one would probably pass by until she fully recovered.
With the baby in her arms, Holly flew slowly, close to the ground, avoiding high altitudes to not harm the baby.
She flew toward her city and hovered over it unnoticed. Her body still ached from previous accidents. When she got near her house, she landed quickly, without being seen, and went inside. As a successful businesswoman financially, her house was large. Once inside, she laid the baby down on her bed temporarily and went to take a bath to soothe the pain from the burns.
After the bath, Holly, now dressed in business attire, went to her living room, grabbed the phone, and called one of her closest friends, one of the few who knew her secret identity. After a while, her friend answered the phone.
"Thank God, Lia, I need you for something. It's really important!"
"What happened, Holly? Is everything okay?" Lia asked, already worried about Holly's safety.
"I need you to come here."
"Alright, I'll be there soon."
Holly sighed, looking at the baby on her bed. She had no experience taking care of a baby.
Lia grabbed a cab and hurried to Holly's house. When she arrived, she rang the bell. Holly opened the door, and Lia saw the wounds on Holly's hands and arms.
"Oh my God, Holly, what happened? Who did this to you?"
"I'll be fine."
Lia quickly entered the house. They had been friends for many years, so they were very familiar with each other.
While Lia asked what happened, the sound of a baby crying came from one of the rooms.
Lia looked at Holly, surprised.
She went to Holly's room, where the baby was lying on the bed.
"Oh my God, Holly, when did you have a child?" Lia asked, kneeling by the bed and gently patting the baby.
"He's not mine..."
"You... stole a baby?" Holly said, shocked, covering her mouth.
"Of course not... He fell from the sky..."
"From the sky? Holly, are you sure you're okay?"
"Yes..."
"Explain."
Holly sighed and told Lia everything that had happened.
"He's an alien? What if he's dangerous, Holly?" Lia looked at the baby lying on the bed but quickly changed her mind. There was no way such a beautiful baby could be dangerous, right?
"So, Lia, I don't know what to do. I need your help."
"Are you going to keep him?"
"I will..."
"Alright, I'll help you. We're friends, right?"
Holly was touched. She was so grateful to Lia for being her friend.
"So, what do we do now?" Lia grabbed a cloth from Holly's wardrobe and wrapped it around the baby.
"He's cold, Holly. Go out and buy him some clothes."
Holly hurried out and went to a children's store to buy baby clothes. She bought a bit of everything, in all sizes, just in case. When she returned, she and Lia managed to dress the baby.
"And now, Lia, what do we do?"
"Did you feed him?"
"Feed him? What do you think he eats?" Holly asked.
"I'm not sure. Maybe human meat?"
They both looked at the baby on the bed and, at the same time, said,
"Maybe milk..."
They exchanged looks.
Once again, Holly left the house. This time, she flew to buy special breast milk for women who couldn't breastfeed.
When she came back, she entered the house. Lia was trying to calm the baby, who was still crying. On the way back, Holly also remembered to buy a bottle.
"Thank God, Holly, you're here!"
Holly handed the bottle to Lia, who gave it to the baby. He started drinking calmly and soon stopped crying.
Holly and Lia sighed in relief. After a while, the baby fell asleep.
Holly and Lia sat on the floor, leaning against the bed. Lia was holding the baby while giving him the bottle.
"Holly, I still don't know his name. What is it?"
Holly realized she hadn't given him a name yet. She thought for a moment and debated with Lia about what name to give him.
"How about Clark?"
"Sounds a bit tacky."
"Right."
"Bruce?"
"Sounds like a rich family name."
"True..."
"But you're rich," Lia pointed out.
After a while of debating,
"How about Henry?" Holly said.
Lia and Holly exchanged a glance.
"It's a good name. I like it."
"I like it too." Holly got up.
"Lia, I need to rest for a bit. Can you stay with him for me?"
"Of course, I'll take care of him for you. I won't go to college today. I can stay with him."
"Thank you, I don't know what I would do without you. I'm sorry about college."
"It's fine."
Holly went to the living room, lay down on the couch, and slept for a few hours. Her body needed rest.
After sleeping for a while, it was already night. Holly woke up feeling much better. When she got up, she went to her room and found Lia lying on her bed. Henry was in a crib next to her bed.
Holly went to Lia and woke her up.
"Where did you get that crib?"
"After you left, I asked my mom to bring a crib. Luckily, a friend of hers had one and lent it to me. Now she thinks you had a baby."
Lia got up and went to the door. She had called a cab to go home, and Holly followed her to say goodbye.
"Bye, Holly. Take good care of him. I'll come by tomorrow. If you need anything, just call me."
"Goodbye, thank you so much," Holly said, hugging Lia.
