The first day of college was nothing like school. There were no familiar corridors, no childhood friends waiting by the gates. Instead, there were towering buildings, bustling students, and an air of independence that felt both thrilling and terrifying.
Each of them had stepped into a new world—one filled with strangers, new responsibilities, and endless possibilities.
Anaya's First Day
Anaya stepped out of the cab, looking up at the grand architecture of her new college. The sight filled her with excitement and a little nervousness. This was her dream—to study architecture in one of the best colleges in the city.
The hostel was a five-story building with a beautiful garden in the front. After completing her check-in, she was led to her room. She took a deep breath before pushing the door open.
Inside, two girls were already unpacking.
"Hey, you must be Anaya!" One of them, a girl with curly hair and bright eyes, grinned. "I'm Riya."
"And I'm anna," the other girl added with a friendly nod.
Anaya smiled, feeling a little less nervous. "Nice to meet you both."
Riya plopped onto her bed. "So, where are you from?"
"Mumbai," Anaya replied, setting her bag down.
"Ah, a city girl!" anna laughed. "You're going to love it here."
As they settled in, Anaya felt something warm in her chest. Maybe this place wasn't home yet, but it had potential.
Aarav's New Beginning
On the other side of the city, Aarav arrived at his AI and Robotics college. Unlike Anaya's college, which had a blend of creativity and design, his was all about technology and innovation.
The hostel was filled with students already discussing codes, projects, and the latest AI advancements. He found his room and knocked on the door.
It swung open to reveal a tall guy with glasses and a lazy smile.
"Yo, you must be Aarav. I'm Arjun, your roommate."
Aarav shook his hand. "Nice to meet you."
Arjun glanced at his luggage. "Let me guess—you're into AI, robotics, and barely sleep?"
Aarav smirked. "Something like that."
"Awesome. You'll fit right in."
Aarav felt an odd sense of belonging. Maybe this place could be a fresh start.
In different cities, everyone was adapting to their new lives, settling into their routines, and embracing the challenges of college.
Karan and Nyra were pursuing game development together, thrilled to be surrounded by like-minded people.
Mira had joined a prestigious journalism institute, eager to uncover stories that mattered. Miti had stepped into the world of medicine, her days consumed by intense study.
Rohan was thriving in culinary school, experimenting with new recipes.
They were all adjusting, growing, and moving forward.
One evening, Anaya sat by the window in her dorm, staring at the city lights.
Her phone buzzed. It was a message from their school group chat.
Mira: "Guys, I miss you all :("
Rohan: "Same! College is great, but nothing beats our old days."
Nyra: "Let's plan a meet-up soon!"
Anaya smiled but didn't reply. She missed them too, but she also knew—this was just the beginning of a new chapter.
On the other side of the city, Aarav sat in his room, flipping a small velvet box in his hands.
The necklace.
He had thought about giving it to her before they left, but now… he wasn't sure if it even mattered.
He sighed, putting it away.
Life was moving forward, and so were they.
The Journey Continues…
