Today is a celebration for the Kravel family because it is Hero's birthday—August 29. He has turned 17, and his mother, Mikasa, wanted to give him a big surprise. She left home to buy the best gift for her son.
However, happiness was short-lived. Nebula had been waiting for this day because it was the only time in a year that Mikasa left the city and her mansion. That was why Nebula had been patiently awaiting this moment. But Teven had anticipated the danger and hired elite hunters to protect Mikasa.
At 11:30, Mikasa's car stopped near a small shop, surrounded by guards who were communicating with each other. She entered the shop, trying to rush things.
Mikasa: "Please, make it quick! I'm in a hurry to get to the city," she said to the shopkeeper.
But that shopkeeper was Nebula. With a swift motion, he threw a ring toward Mikasa using his rotation technique. However, the ring did not hit Mikasa but struck one of the guards protecting her.
Nebula smirked. "It's useless... You will all die anyway," he said with anger.
One of the hunters stepped forward. "Are you insane? What the hell are you doing, idiot?" He tried to attack Nebula.
But Nebula merely touched the hunter's hand, and suddenly, his entire body twisted and shattered into pieces.
Nebula turned toward the remaining hunters. "Anyone who crosses me will be spared," he said.
The hunters hesitated. "Don't move forward! This guy is a maniac. If we attack, we might die," one of them warned.
But in an instant, that hunter lost his eyes. Blood poured from the empty sockets. Nebula had plucked them out in a blink.
"I told you... it's useless," Nebula whispered.
At that moment, the shop owner rushed out. "What's going on here? Stop this nonsense—"
Before he could finish his sentence, his stomach was pierced, and he collapsed, coughing up blood.
The remaining guards were in shock. "Who did this?" one of them muttered.
A frightened hunter suddenly dropped his weapon and fell to his knees. "I-I surrender! Please, don't kill me! I'll join you!"
The leader of the hunters scoffed. "I knew you would betray us." He prepared to throw a bloodied spear at the cowardly hunter.
But before he could attack, the frightened hunter used his own technique and killed the leader instead.
Nebula laughed. "Well done. What's your name?"
The hunter swallowed nervously. "M-My name is Merel Slavet... I'm a foreigner."
Nebula smirked. "Fine. Your first task—bring Mikasa to me."
Merel, sweating, nodded. "A-Alright..." He then dragged Mikasa from her hiding spot.
It turned out that Mikasa's special ability was concealment.
Nebula gently took her hand. "My daughter's hands were also this soft and beautiful," he muttered.
Tears streamed down Mikasa's face. "Why are you doing this? I never did anything to hurt you! Please... spare me!"
Nebula's expression remained cold. "It's useless."
With a swift motion, he ripped her heart out.
Merel, witnessing this, trembled in fear.
Nebula turned to him. "Now, show me her husband's house."
Merel, wiping his tears, whispered, "As you wish... I need revenge on this family. They are monsters."
Nebula smirked. "Then you are on my side."
Together, they set off toward the Kravel mansion.
On the way, Merel spoke about his ability. "My absolute technique allows me to use my own energy as a projectile. My attacks have no range limitations."
Not long after, they arrived at the Kravel estate.
Merel turned to Nebula. "Wait here. I'll take care of the guards first."
From the rooftop, Merel sniped all the security personnel, clearing the way for Nebula to enter without resistance.
Now, Nebula walked in calmly, his mind set on revenge.
Inside, Teven was unaware of what was happening.
Then, Nebula appeared before him.
"Do you recognize me? I am an avenger... I am here to cleanse this world of filth like you," he declared, his voice filled with vengeance.
To be continued...
