Chapter 7 - Trouble wanders

"Don't you think that guy is very shameless?" The young man walking with both hands in his loose brown pants, a white sash with a knot in the fornt holding them up, his orange shirt seeming to be of ordinary but very good material.

"After what happened? Absolutely." Mika had an off the shoulder shirt that was somewhat tight, a little bow in the front and frills along the upper edge, vertical stripes a darker shade of light blue than the rest of the shirt and a long flowing brown skirt that stopped at her ankles.

She couldn't help but think that he clearly was someone with good intentions but that wasn't mentally very sound, his behavior creepy but not invasive or bad.

That was, until 10 minutes ago.

Now she thinks that he should be looked upon with caution and extreme attention, the display of skills he demonstrated made it clear that at least, he is a well trained fighter with a troublesome past that could very well have a outburst and decide to submit his will upon the weaker villagers.

She also should stop thinking about the whole hug and kiss because her face was getting hot and red again.

"... Hmm, it's the first time it's you who is swoon over and not the opposite." With his eyebrows raised, he looks back at the hero that was following behind them at a certain distance with that other troublesome guy, one with a hand in his hip and swinging his finger up while whistling and the other looking down with a annoyed but resigned frown, one side feeling like the sun was shining brightly while the other like it could just start raining.

"Excuse me?" She looks down on him, squinting her eyes the loud mouth who says such outrageous claims. He stops paying the dynamic duo attention when he feels her gaze, looking up to her with a smirk as he points below her neck.

"Don't you see these? These cow tits of yours granted you a lot of fans didn't they? There was the blacksmith, the farmers, that noble one time..." Before more examples could be said he was yoinked from where he was to a one arm headlock, then his head was scratched by a soft closed fist that pressed against his head.

"First of all, if you call me a cow again i'll make you drink spoiled milk, second of all, my hand is a big fan of your head so let it give you some kisses!" The young man was struggling to make her get off due to a number of circumstances that aren't worth mentioning, for the reaction of a certain man in a suit behind was more concerning.

"Lucky bastard..." Elias was bothered that his day had been ruined in such a spectacular way in verious aspects. The plan was simple, propose to Mika and if she refused he would promise the world and the stars to try to convince her that he was a fitting partner.

But he wasn't counting in the meddling of some unknown giggling dancer to catch him off guard and make him look like a simpleton on front of his beloved, not to mention that now they are heading to the inn to have a proper conversation, even though that could be resolved in the church itself.

He sighed in resignation, her strong personality was after all one of the reasons he fell in love with her all those years ago and he wouldn't have it any other way, which was what exactly what he was reminiscing about.

"nankai yattemo, nankai yattemo..." of course, that flow of good memories was also being ruined...

"Wood Man ga taosenai, yo!" Because this damn pest wouldn't shut the fuck up for just a second! It has been like this for minutes already alongside his unrelenting dancing, which he hated watching for how snappy and unorthodox it was.

When they finally arrived at the inn, with the young man out of her arms and her heart cooled down from all that happened in less than 5 minutes, Mika stopped at her tracks and looked down at the hero who was snapping his fingers in rhythm, looking up with no particular thoughts.

"Very well, we are here so we can all properly talk like the adults we are, so enter both of you and choose a table." She glanced over at Elias, who was looking at the hero, his eyes meeting hers for a second before she opened the old wood door, the jingling bell announcing their presence to the man behind the counter.

"Oh, welcome... huh?" The plan was just for Mika and his son to come back so that they could prepare for the weekend cleaning day, but seeing Elias with them in such expensive looking clothes and the young man they rescued, who was using a light brown jacket with a zipper in front and purple pants rolled to his ankles and a belt, which was a very odd combination, startled the old man.

"It seems you have finally decided to pay us a visit huh, you little brat?" The old man smirked at Elias, who crossed his arm and looked away smirking to himself, not believing that the old man could call an adult his size a mere little brat.

"And, hello, it's a pleasure to meet you, my name is Maurice." The hero nodded to the old man while also crossing his arms, the old man nodding back, it seemed like he was a young one of few words to say, but unlike a Elias, he seemed to be more well behaved and joyful.

"Now Mr Siegmund, please take a seat." The hero edged closer to the nearest chair available, after cleaning it with his own hand and then his hand on his shirt, he sat and crossed his leg, leaning forward with one hand resting his face and the other across the table, a quiet sigh coming out of him.

"Are you gonna tell them that you're from another world?" Chat was playing the hero's favorite tunes for him at his own request, pulling them from his memories and letting them play like a music box inside his own head.

The rest of the people were taking their own seats when the hero closed his eyes, lifted his finger and opened his mouth to answer to Chat, when the door was smashed open and the bell jingled luke crazy, someone with heavy breathing and sweat in their forehead was there all of sudden.

"There are bandits in the gate! Prepare yourselves!"
