Cana felt a bit hot and she started to remove her blanket, she slowly stretched her arm and yawned.
"Ah, it was a good sleep!" while rubbing her eye she slowly looks at the window and realizes that it was already gloaming outside.
"Oh no! I overslept!" She immediately got up, and was confused about how she got in to her room. Looking at the other side where Mia's bed is empty, although confused she decided to get up and prepare herself to go out. After washing up her face, she changed her clothes to an oversized shirt and rolled the sleeves to two folds, then tucked in the hem in her partial-length trousers, then wore plain white sneakers, when all set she grabbed a cap and headed out of the room.
The interior of the villa is simple yet giving a cozy ambience, she looks more around to notice the beautiful light emitted as the remaining rays of the setting sun enters the living room. As her vision reached downstairs, she saw a silhouette by the glass window.
" Was that brother Samuel?" The tall and lean figure can easily be guess, although they were almost of the same height with Simone, Samuel on the other hand had a distinguished stature even when he just stood alone on the side that could still make him stand out from the rest. Then she led herself to the stairs to catch up and ask where the others were when she heard that he was in a conversation over the phone that halted her steps.
"I am currently on vacation Marcie. That document can wait. What? No. I am not telling you where we are. If you have nothing important to ask…" His next words were cut off as he noticed Cana's presence behind him.
"Just send me a message if there's an update, I'll hang up." Immediately ending the call it seems like he doesn't want to let her hear the rest, she felt a bit guilty as if she's prying over other people's business, still there is a prick behind her heart that wanted to ask who he was talking with.
"You're finally awake, it was quite a long nap." A smile appears on his face and his gentle eyes look over her, at the same time, he has a habit of sweet gestures like patting her head. Somehow she is thinking if it was just out of his usual way of showing his care or he is doing so because he thinks of her as a child.
"Did you sleep well?" he asked.
"Ah yes! I am quite a heavy sleeper. Where's Mia and Simone?" Forcing a smile and setting aside her curious thoughts she acts the usual.
"They went ahead of us, we can still catch up with them."
"I see, then can we go now?"
"Yeah, but... Are you going out like that?" He stared at her from head to toe and assessed over her attire. What caught his attention was the trousers she was wearing, it was short already and to have the hem a bit ripped, Samuel thought that fashion among them is now getting overboard. If she were at home it would be fine however as they were about to go to a crowded place and have her milky white legs exposed as it is, he frowned.
"Yes, it's comfy! Let's go!" she excitedly went to the front door and to no avail Samuel wasn't able to halt her.
He slowly massaged his temples, "Ah, I need to watch over her, she doesn't know how she looks."
Meanwhile, Mia and Simone already enjoyed exploring half of the night market, there are couples like them having fun around the area. Simone watches his girlfriend as she tries to catch the fish at one of the stalls.
"Ah! I got one!" She happily boasts about it.
"Are you taking that one?" He gently patted her as a way of telling her good work.
She's a bit silent as if thinking, and then nodded. They went off and ate at several stores and had some refreshments and snacks. They played a bit more once they were tired, and rested at the nearby park.
"Did you have fun?"
"Yes it was so fun! I hope Cana is also having fun right now."
"She keeps worrying about her best friend, I guess Cana will be my forever rival with my love." He smiles faintly and closes his face to her.
"What?" Mia asked him but he didn't answer but instead he continued inch closer and gave her a peck that stunned her.
It was a gentle touch at first, but the greedy teasing eventually repeated and now their slightly parted red lips that were tempted now both answered to each other's yearning as they both focused on the warmth of the lips pursing. It tasted so sweet, Simone grabbed her to close their distance as he craves for more. He observes her face with her eyes closed and the blushing of her cheeks, he chuckles in between the kisses as he finds her so cute, that was notice by Mia and looked at him while pouting.
" Was it weird?" Feeling embarrassed, Mia was never good at showing affection, the first time they kissed she was so clumsy that she even asked Simone to teach her, thinking that since he was more experienced than her when it comes to relationships. However, her initial thought of Simone, who actually has no dating experience before, gave him an idea of teaching Mia and even implied to teach her more by taking advantage of the innocent girl.
" No, Mia is such a good student, you're improving each time we kiss. I think I'll be addicted to this." Caressing her cheeks, he then felt parted lower lip with his thumb, as if asking for permission Simone parted it more and claimed her lips once again.
Whenever he does this Mia would resist, but this time she's trying to reciprocate his kisses that brings a smile on his lips as it was a big step forward with the timid and shy Mia.
Both are catching their breath and he was about to kiss her again when Mia pushed at his chest that surprised him. "Uhh... Si...Simone!" With a panicked and red face Mia who was swayed earlier got her senses back.
He sighed that it was over, however she cherished him so much that he is willing to have it on Mia's way even if it takes a slow run over their relationship. He wanted to indulge himself in every second he spent with her.
" If it is Mia, then it's fine to be this slow, we are not rushing anything." His sweet voice rang over Mia's ears and his warm fingers tickled as he tucks a hair behind her ears. They both smiled with a feeling of satisfaction. It will be a rare opportunity for them to spend intimate times like this after graduation as they chose separate colleges, which is a few miles away. Mia passed the admission at a known Medicine school that is in the city while Simone is planning to enroll at a business college in the other area.
"I'm glad we were able to go on a trip before graduation. Once we start college, it'll be harder for us to spend time like this." Mia said while leaning her head at Simone's shoulder as they were seated at the bench side watching the crowd in the night market.
"Yeah, but make sure that you'll have time with me. Don't let other guys take too much of your time." He teases as he knows that mostly the place Mia is planning to attend is a male populated school, he presumes that she will gather many attention among her peers, not just because of her pretty looks but also with her kind heart and intelligence.
"Don't be jealous! You're the only one and promise me the same... You know... You're quite the popular one even now" Simone who is actually known as King B in high school, has a lot of fair flings and rumors around, that is why when they started dating, they kept it a secret with only Cana on their side, it was hard that they got a trials over their young relationship, they managed to keep it. Assuring each other, it's a first time for them, but with any challenge it'll make their relationship and trust stronger.
"Come, we might meet Cana and Brother Samuel along the way, I wonder what they are doing?" He holds Mia's hand as he walks into the crowd again, as they slowly enjoy the night, a sudden call which they never expected stops their tracks.
"Shawn? Mia Shawn is that you!?" A stranger calls out to her. So she turns around. When Mia sees the one who's calling, her eyes widen.
"Who is this guy?" Simone is getting confused based on the reaction of his girlfriend, the town they visited is far and they chose it to make sure not to bump into acquaintances.
"An ex-boyfriend? But I am your first boyfriend right?" Mia shook her head to deny it hard. Then the guy walks near them, and smiles that the person he is approaching is really someone he knows.
"How have you been? You've grown up huh? It's been a while, do you still remember me?" Looking closer he's the same tall as Simone, he has a tall nose bridge, dark black eyes with thick lashes and a lavishing smile every girl will fawn over.
"Mia, who is he?" He asked, then still in shock she answered with quite a cold tone.
