[YUZUKI]
[Twenty-Eight Years Later, Kurayami Kingdom]
Darkness.
Headaches.
Noises.
Lots of noises.
And then…
"She's waking up."
"She's going to kill us for this."
"Goddess help us all if she doesn't wring our necks."
"My queen, are you alright?" a shrill voice spoke, and Yuzuki could have sworn that her head hurt like hell and even worse with the voices around her.
It felt like someone was hammering her head into the ground, only that this time, she felt warm like she was covered in rich fur and was laid on a gentle bed, not the cruel field she last remembered.
She wondered where she was and what she was doing there for a moment.
She could hear people get frantic around her and honestly, it was pissing her off. No one was supposed to be that loud around her, and yet she couldn't quite place what was happening at the moment.
It was almost like a bad dream, one she couldn't get out of, but was it?
"You all need to shut the fuck up," Yuzuki growled in discomfort, her eyes never once opening.
She had sounded like she could easily send them to their maker and clearly, the people around her thought that was an actual possibility because everyone around her went into dead silence.
It was quiet for a moment and Yuzuki could have sworn this was what peace felt like. But then again, the fact that she was hearing people around her made her wonder if she was the queen of hell.
Yuzuki knew that she had done so many evil things in her time as a Fukada alpha that she didn't think that the moon goddess wanted her near anyone rational in the afterlife if ever that was where Yuzuki was at today anyway.
Well, all of that didn't matter as much, because, to Yuzuki, there was no one she despised more than Kazuya Yamashita, the man who had taken everything from her.
"Finally, some fucking peace and quiet," Yuzuki groaned as she struggled to open her eyes.
She was trying so hard, and it was so obvious that she could have sworn someone tried to reach out to her, but then changed their mind last minute, almost like they were scared of what she would do.
Well, maybe she would wring their necks given the amount of rage she had died with, but then that would just be a waste of her rage honestly, because her rage was focused on Kazuya.
If this was hell, then Yuzuki would patiently wait for the day the immortal bastard died and he would have his day at the devil's court with her. However, at the same time, there was something different about her surroundings.
The last thing she remembered was the cold hard battlefield, with her beautiful Matsui dead in her arms before she also succumbed to her wounds. She didn't remember being the queen of anything and as much as she wanted to ask that out loud, she couldn't help but feel that there was more to this.
So, she remained silent, hoping that someone, anyone with the right answers would make it make sense for her before she lost her damn mind.
'You should not be mean to your new subjects, Kuramitsu,' a feminine voice spoke in Yuzuki's mind, making Yuzuki let out a soft groan. It had been long since she had used the mind links and she knew that she was going crazy.
Even then, she figured it wouldn't hurt any worse if she indulged the voice in her head.
'Who the fuck is Kuramitsu?' Yuzuki asked angrily.
'The woman whose body your soul has been transmigrated into,' the voice said and Yuzuki stilled. For a moment it was like everything was happening fast, but at the same time, she couldn't imagine what kind of a joke this was on her.
For someone who hated using mind links, Yuzuki was certainly sure that the voice was in her head. She wanted to think she was hallucinating, but the fact that people called her queen and shit, meant that there was more to this.
And she had been right.
Perhaps this was her chance at a better life.
'Who now?' Yuzuki asked in the mind links again and the voice sighed dramatically.
'Kuramitsu… the evil crazy werewolf queen… ring a bell?' the voice asked.
Yuzuki let out a loud gasp and once again, she could hear the voices around her perk up. They were annoying honestly because she was trying to figure out what had happened to her and they just wouldn't stop.
"She really fell hard. We need to give her space or goddess help us all if she doesn't open her eyes and strangles us with her magic in her sleep," another voice spoke and honestly, it was confusing for Yuzuki.
There was just no way she had been reborn into the body of the craziest bitch in the realm.
That was impossible and insane.
'Yeah, that's a nice joke there you got,' Yuzuki said in the mind links and the voice signed exaggeratedly before a warm memory hit her hard.
Yuzuki couldn't help but recall hundreds of years' worth of memories and it got her wondering what the hell was happening. If she was in that mad woman's body, then there was a chance she was the devil herself.
The Kuramitsu werewolf queen she knew was so bad and crazy, that even King Kazuya was scared of her. That woman was a horrible terrifying shadow that lingered aimlessly in the realm, committing every unimaginable unhinged shit and never caring about it.
She was always there but at the same time, no one outside her inner circle knew who she was. She was the devil or perhaps worse than the devil.
Queen Kuramitsu was almost a myth in the realm, but her impact was always felt. Her face remained a mystery in the realm and so many books were written about the shadow queen who had brought civilizations to the ground just because she was bored.
It was even insane because all that had happened when her identity had remained hidden.
There had been rumors about someone who had leaked the queen's identity to the realm and the woman murdered him, and everyone who knew about it, despite how far they were from her kingdom.
She had made sure to shut the realm up about her dignity. And if ever there was a person who knew what Queen Kuramitsu looked like, then they had learned the hard way to keep their mouths shut.
'You wanted your vengeance against Kazuya, or perhaps I grabbed the wrong Yuzuki soul… my bad,' the voice said.
Yuzuki almost peed her pants from excitement.
Her dying wish had been granted.
Her desire was finally coming to life and she would make sure Kazuya felt her damning presence.
She would haunt that man from whatever point she was in the kingdom and it was just a good thing that she had been brought into the body of this unhinged psycho werewolf queen.
'I… I was reincarnated?' Yuzuki asked and the voice huffed.
'What else do you think, woman? Can you keep Kazuya inline or not?'
'I want to kill him,' Yuzuki said confidently in the links.
'You do whatever you want. I will only say this once and if you fail, you will never be reincarnated, nor will you ever be able to see Matsui, not even in the afterlife,' the voice insisted.
