The next couple of fights were entertaining, but a majority of them ended up in the same way the fight with Todoroki vs. Momo did.
Which, in Taro and Bakugou's opinions, was a bit boring.
Ochako Uraraka fought against Tsuyu Asui. Their fight was essentially a game of cat and mouse.
Ochako's quirk [Gravity] allowed her to reduce the gravity of anything she touched with all her five fingers, allowing whatever object to be essentially weightless.
This also allowed her to control the things she's made weightless. Of course, this depended on their original weights; for example, she can make a skyscraper float, but she can't control it.
Tsuyu, on the other hand, her quirk [Frog] basically allowed her to be able to do whatever a frog can.
The match favoured Ochako; unfortunately, however, Tsuyu was incredibly agile. Ochako chose to make the match a long-distance match and kept Tsuyu at bay, but she couldn't land a decisive attack.
So the match ended up just being things thrown at Tsuyu while maintaining a defense and Tsuyu dodging the attacks; Taro likened her to be similar to Spider-man due to her ability to stick to walls, but the match ended when Aizawa stopped it.
After that, it was Denki Kaminari vs. Mina Ashido. Mina's quirk [Acid] allowed her to secret acidic fluids on will; if she wanted to, she could make the sweat on her skin corrosive, allowing her to destroy things with a single touch.
Denki's quirk, on the other hand, allowed him to generate electricity. He could generate as much voltage as he wanted, but he could not control its direction, and with too high voltage, he burned his skin.
Again, the match favored Kaminari, and it should have been an easy win, but for some reason, the boy chose not to get closer to Mina and then just do as Pikachu does, so the march just ended up being a draw.
The final match was Toru Hagakure vs. Kyouka Jiro. The match ended quickly.
Jiro's Quirk [AMP] allowed her to amplify the sound of anything. Unfortunately, she needed a speaker or a conduit, meaning her quirk worked poorly without a support item. Of course, she could still amplify the sound of her heartbeat, but much like Denki, she can't direct it, and it's not as powerful as it could be.
This allowed Toru to just sneak up on her, put her in a headlock, and force her to give up, winning the match.
"Alright, that concludes the exercises, go hit the showers, afterwards it will be lunch break"
Aizawa informed the students while he looked at his clipboard. For the most part, he has gotten a good idea of their quirks and can now accurately give them the pointer they need.
"oh my gosh, that was so exhausting!"
"What are you complaining about Toru? Your fight ended almost as quickly as Bakugou's"
Mina countered the invisible girl's complaint. The group exited the control room and made their way toward the showers.
"That doesn't mean it was any less exhausting, and I was super nervous, so that adds to my tiredness"
Toru explained herself, building a case that she too deserves to hit the showers
"That's not how any of that works"
Retorted the pink girl, completely unconvinced that her invisible classmate was actually even tired.
"Why are you singling me out, Taro and Bakugou had even shorter fights than me"
"Because Taro and Bakugou didn't say they were tired."
Once again, Ashido quickly shut down the argument and caused Toro to visibly pout, eliciting some chuckles from some of the classmates.
"Speaking of the guys who had shorter fights, does that mean we might have our own big 3 in the making?"
Uraraka brought up the subject curiously, and everyone halted in the realization
"You're right!"
They all said collectively.
"That means Toru, Bakugou, and Taro are the big 3 of our class"
Kyouka Jiro concluded, however, that her words were met with opposition from Eijiro Kirishima.
"No way, the big 3 is based on the strongest. It has to be Taro, Todoroki, and Bakugou"
"Hell no! Icy-hot's match ended in a draw. No way I'm accepting being lumped with him"
Bakugou denied, and the discussion continued, with someone having an objection to whatever was suggested. The two members of this big three were Bakugou and Taro. However, it was the third member that was being heavily contested.
"Stop trying to make a big 3, There won't be one, only just big me, so this argument is pointless"
Taro confidently claimed with a big smirk on his face, the arrogance was palpable to all his classmates.
"You aren't better than me, you bastard, I'm the best around here"
"If you were better, you would have won quicker!!"
"Shut up! That doesn't mean anything"
"Yeah, it does. Losers make excuses!"
"Stupid jackass I'll blow your brains straight out your head!"
"Haha, you wish you could, bozo…."
The two boys then began their back and forth, taunting each other once more.
"Those two are definitely more alike than not"
Tsuyu Asui commented as she made that observation.
"I know right, with them in class, it will never be peaceful"
Denki added.
"I think it's fine, Taro is the type to get bored quickly, so Bakugou's good to keep entertained"
Momo explained and only received looks from her classmates.
"So what? He sees Bakugou as a plaything?"
Mina questioned with a chuckle. Momo did not answer her question, but she did think that was possible.
"I mean, he does kinda seem like a rabid dog"
At Toru's words, everyone took a moment and looked at Bakugou, seeing his angry scowl as he shouted at Taro before they burst out in laughter.
" Ha! Oh my God, you're right!"
Denki expressed as he laughed, holding his stomach, with Mina Ashido and Toru doing the same; Uraraka and Kyouka were only chuckling, with Momo and Iida letting out an amused exhale through their noses. The only people who didn't laugh were Tsuyu, Kirishima, and Todoroki.
"mhm I don't see it"
Kirishima expressed his confusion while holding his chin with his hand.
"if I close my eyes, I can see it"
Todoroki exclaimed in his usual monotone. Tsuyu, on the other hand, simply shrugged, understanding the joke but only finding it amusing at best.
