While the classmates were getting to know each other, Shota Aizawa began to research the quirks of his students. Incidentally, UA University usually requests any medical records of all Hero course students.
This was to help the teacher gain a much more nuanced understanding of the quirk and be able to coach the students proficiently toward being the heroes they are suited to be.
"hm strange"
He voiced as he watched the computer screen; at present, he was looking at Taro's medical history, which was practically nonexistent. The young lad had only been to the hospital a total of 3 times; each time, his visits were quirk-related.
"This implies he's never been sick enough to go to the hospital"
The three times he's been to the hospital was when he was a baby, and the doctors found out their needles couldn't penetrate his skin for blood samples, this led them to believe that Taro's quirk was invulnerability.
The second time was when he was 3 years old when he suddenly started to lift whole cars above his head and destroyed some things with a single touch.
This then led the doctors to conclude that Taro's quirk was super strength all along and that invulnerability was just a by-product of that strength. After all, you need a strong body to be able to use Super strength.
This wasn't an uncommon thing to happen. A lot of kids developed secondary quirks that helped support their main quirks. Sometimes, those quirks can become their own separate quirks.
For instance, Katsuki Bakugou's Quirk is explosions, but to keep him from destroying his hands whenever he uses it, he has minor invulnerability. The same is true for Mina Ashido, who's immune to the effects of her fluids.
However, what was even stranger about Taro was the fact that he could fly as well. The doctors were baffled by this because the flight was completely unrelated to Super Strength.
Unfortunately, Taro's skin was too tough, and his parents did not consent to the usage of the more dangerous ways of drawing blood, so the only thing they could get was just saliva.
"Would this mean neither flight, Super Strength, or Invulnerability are not his primary quirks but instead secondary quirks that support his primary quirk?"
Aizawa guessed, but unfortunately, he could not figure out what type of quirks would require 3 sub-quirks to support it.
It didn't help that Taro was adopted, so he could not look at his parents' quirks and draw a conclusion.
"This is going to be a headache. Hopefully, the rest will be much simpler"
He said choosing to shelve Taro's issue for the time being, plus the three quirks he already had, should be enough for Aizawa to have a good idea of what kind of hero the boy should be, but at the same time, he felt he needed to observe, Taro a bit more.
The classification of heroes was really diverse, with many heroes specialising in extremely specific niches and being unsuited for certain types of hero work. This meant that Aizawa had a lot of leeway when it came to deciding the type of heroes his students were suited for; however, he also realised that it would take practically all day.
"Ugh! This is such a pain"
He exclaimed before he began working; he chose not to go by alphabetical order, so he just picked whichever student struck his fancy.
"Let's get the easy ones out first"
The first Was Tenya Iida, younger brother to the hero Ingenium, It was easy to see what type of hero he would be, with his quirk Engine, which allowed him to run at speeds surpassing cars, the young lad was suited to be a Rescue Type hero.
Specializing more in getting Civilians out of dangerous areas or rushing them to the nearest hospital when they're injured. Of course, combat is absolutely necessary regardless of the type of hero he was suited for.
"He has engines in his legs, so his kicks will be powerful in the future, so a martial art that has a lot of kicks would work for his combat training."
He remarked as he typed the information into the computer and created a file for Tenya Iida.
Setting him aside, he looked for another student before deciding to pick out Tsuyu Asui.
Tsuyu Asui's quirk was [Frog], which essentially gave her the characteristics and abilities of a frog. It wasn't the most exciting of Quirks, but Aizawa could see its potential.
Once again, much like Iida, it was easy to see the type of hero she could be.
Since she was an amphibian, being a sea-based hero would suit her best, and she would need to learn how to fight underwater, too.
"I'll have to ask around for that"
He said, pursing his lips wondering what else that frogs can do that Tsuyu can do as well. He quickly created her file and moved on.
Aizawa completed this process for three more students before he stretched his arms and back and stood up from his chair. He took solace in the fact the teacher's office was empty and had the space to himself, well, at least until lunch.
"let's take a break"
There was a lot ahead of him, so taking a break was important,
"If I manage to finish this today, then tomorrow, we'll do a test to see the full extent of their quirks."
He voiced and was reminded that he needed to reserve one of the training grounds for tomorrow. He quickly made his way towards the principal's office.

[Next day]
The second day of school for the students of UA had begun. The lazy students of the class were still very much lethargic and not yet fully awake, but unfortunately, today was not their day.
"Good morning, everyone. I hope you had a nice relaxing first day because today will be anything but that, get your gym uniforms"
Aizawa informed his students, who seemed to pause at his words, waiting for him to continue, but he just looked at them with a bit of confusion.
"Huh? I thought you'd be more excited"
"Wait you mean–"
Denki could not finish his words as he was immediately cut off by Aizawa, who confirmed the suspicions of the class.
"Yes, now get your gym uniforms"
The excitement exploded out of them as they all immediately stood up to get their gym clothes, some of them already chatting amongst themselves about whose quirk they wanted to see in action.
Taro, although he still felt like he needed to sleep more, couldn't help but find himself getting a bit excited as well, feeling a bit hopeful of what was to come.
The students quickly got their gym uniforms, and Aizawa took them to the training grounds

A/N: I'm lazy so I didn't feel like writing about every single quirk from every student, but expect some changes to how their quirks function.
thragg vs Shigaraki, who wins?
The next chapter is on Thursday.
Also which religious group do you often feel is too arrogant? like if you're someone who's around religious people or are religious person yourself which religious group do you often find to just be insufferable?
I'm asking this for research purposes.
