Leander came close to Calista's face. She closed her eyes.
"Is he going to kiss me?" she thought, feeling her heart race.
Leander locked the door behind her. When he saw Calista's face, he chuckled and stepped back a little.
"Kitty! On your knees," he said.
Calista opened her eyes wide. "Who the hell do you think you are? I'm not Kitty! Don't dare to order me!" she snapped angrily.
Leander chuckled again, sat on the chair, and pulled out his phone from his pocket.
"Do you know I have something for you? Last night… you sneaked into a hotel and tried to kill some people. Is that true?"
Calista froze. "How do you know that? Are you stalking me?"
"Kitty, I'm the owner of that hotel," he said, his voice filled with disappointment.
"What the hell?! I asked the officers to give me that case!" she mumbled under her breath.
Leander chuckled again, but this time more coldly.
"On your knees," he repeated, his tone suddenly icy. The atmosphere shifted—sweet to cold.
Calista hesitated, then knelt.
"Come here, walk like a cat," he ordered.
Calista crawled on her knees toward him. She rested her chin on his knee and whispered, "Meow…"
Leander was shocked. "I didn't expect that from you, Kitty," he said with a smile.
Calista glared at him and rubbed her cheek against his knee.
Leander took out a card from his pocket.
"This is my address. You're invited to dinner—with your boyfriend," he said with a smile.
"Why?" she asked.
"Did Kitty ever have the guts to ask me questions?" he said, raising an eyebrow.
"No," she shook her head.
"Then now you may go."
"Really?" she smiled brightly.
"Hmm. But don't forget to come!"
"Of course! I'll come with my boyfriend," she said and left happily.
Leander smiled a little. "She's adorable."

Later, at Leander's house...
"Aunt May, tell the cook to prepare the best dishes he knows!" Leander said excitedly.
"Is Miss Calista coming?" Aunt May asked.
"Yes, with her boyfriend," he replied. His tone changed suddenly—warm to cold.
After some time, Calista and Cassion arrived.
"Is this a house or a palace?" Calista was shocked.
"Cali, my babe, why'd you bring me here?" Cassion whispered.
"My friend invited me for dinner," she said.
Cassion leaned in close to her, brushing her face gently. Calista closed her eyes tightly. Leander saw everything from the window—and clenched his fist.
