A large humanoid Fiend was running top speed towards a scurrying prisoner. It looked like a muscular wolf with ashen fur and teeth salivating, hungry for blood.
The prisoner covered himself with his arms, weeping on the floor in fear of racing his impending death. No
The large creature's teeth were already drenched in the fresh blood of its former victims. Now it looked to add him to those in its belly.
It launched itself lunging at the scared prisoner hands extended and mouth open and just before it's fangs could grab him, he was pulled away by another human with red eyes
It gnarled in anger that its meal had been taken away from it. Yet that wasn't the worst thing it lost.
On Ghazul's hand the other hand laid a large lump of beating flesh. His eyes staring at the beast waiting for it to realise what just happened.
The creature looked down and saw its feet planted on its own blood puddle. It's heart had been ripped out so fast It didn't know when. The Fiend collapsed to the ground face first into its own blood never to wake again.
" Thank you ", the prisoner said in fear.
Ghazul didn't answer he was looking for his next opponent. A stronger one. His fierce blood thirsty eyes turned to the scared man. This man has probably done some terrible things.
" Get in the cage and don't come out ". Ghazul said barely forcing out the words in all his battle excitement.
He let go of the man and charged fast leaving a literal trail of smoke and flying heads in his wake.
" Jeez he could take on these things all by himself ".
Guile stood silent. This was exactly why he wanted to become a hero. So he could change their fucked up system. So things like this, these crimes against the human in humanity, so things like this could never happen ever again.
In his deep thoughts a large muscular ork looking Fiend raised its fist to punch this frail looking boy.
His eyes went up and then back down.
Without looking Guile waved his hands and turned the creature to pancake instantly.
His gravity control was a terrifying power.
" Comraaaade!" Ghazul roared as he held a fiend in a choke hold.
" I'll kill, you save. Use your telekinesis or whatever but leave the_
The fiend bit hard into Ghazul's arms and forced him to let go. Before it could escape though he ran a fist into its spine and out through its ribcage from the other side
" Leave the killing to me comrade ".
There was truth in the lunatics words. It's what their domain specializes in. Ghazul was made to murder and Guile was for versatility and destruction.
" Alright". He whispered and then Guile flew high searching for the prisoners in danger.
" Tch so many of them were already dead ".
Guile spotted a female prisoner backed into a wall by another ork looking Fiend. This one was ugly as fuck.
He flew down fast and landed on it splitting it into two with so much force the prisoner and Guile himself were now drenched in red fiend blood
After, he looks at the prisoner. ' She looks horrified '.
Indeed she was. She had uncontrollable tears coming down her eyes and was clearly unable to control her breathing.
At this rate she'd die of cardiac arrest.
Gently Guile approached her and reached up ( even for a 15 year old he was short ). He reached his hand high and she resisted, trying to use her hands to stop him. She was very scared but he did it anyway. Guile placed his palm on her forehead.
A glowing purple light faint in its beauty.
He infused her directly with his Arcane Will, just enough to calm her down before she got a heart attack.
" Feeling better?".
The woman was star struck that some one so young possessed so much power. And so much mastery of it.
" Th...,Thanks kid ".
' Kid. He knows he's short but how young does she think he is '. Po
Guile let out a sigh as another Fiend approached. He turned fast and swatted it away like a fly sending it crashing to the wall.
( Guile amplifies his strength with gravity. He made his body heavier and the bodies of the enemy lighter therefore making the attack much much more potent. Not to mention infusing his attacks just enough caused their recoil to accelerate twice as fast.
Main point is you do not want to be slapped by Guile )
He turned back to the woman, still drenched in bright fiend blood.
" Get in a cage ".
She did as he asked. He made sure to watch her get in so no fiend killed her when he wasn't looking. Anyone that attacked her was suddenly flung away by a purple light surrounding them.
While she just closed her eyes and did as he asked.
Something about that woman was off. She didn't seem like a prisoner. She didn't seem like someone to commit a crime.
Just before she got into a cage Guile out of curiosity saw her past.
' No way. This is the last fucking straw '.
So far all the convicts Guile looked at her committed heinous crimes. Crimes against the state, first degree murder, numerous counts of first degree murder, fraud, some of em were serial rapists.
But she..,she was an 18 year old girl caught up in a murder that her father committed.
Any hero with powerful observation like probably that sentinel woman could tell just by reading her past.
You didn't even need someone to see the past for you, good detective work should have found this out.
Guile was angry. Very very angry.
The next time he saw Orion or any hero. He would make sure to make them pay.
More than half the Fiends were already dead. Mainly due to Ghazuls rampage but the other kids weren't slouches either.
They have not mastered their Dominions but they all had high levels of Arcane.
Some prisoners died. It was inevitable but at least the casualties were few.
But they were still casualties.
' It's sad to believe that some of the prisoners died because these dumbasses didn't put as much effort into saving them as they would a regular civilian '.
Enough people are gathered in their cages. It was a sickening thing to think that was a good thing.
Guile extended his hands. He used his Arcane to create barriers protecting all of the prisoners.
" Amazing comrade!" Ghazul shouted just before punching a Fiend to smithereens.
Guile took a deep breath. He was not anxious, he was not sad. The only emotion in this 15 year old boy was Rage.
" Kneel to your death ", He said. A horrifying tone no boy should be able to create.
In an instant half of the Fiends were subjected to heavy gravity making them mere mush on the grey concrete floor.
" My god ", said one of the students in shock at the amount of blood that now decorated the facility.
" Is he really human?".
" I will not lose to you Comrade ", Ghazul said as he lowered his stance. Muscles bulging, force loading just ready to explode into a frenzy.
Some Fiends had been dispatched by the other students but a large number still remained. And they were giving the students a hard time. Thankfully no one among the trainees had lost their lives.
BOOM.
He moved faster than sound itself. Cutting through the air as he passed from one side of the room to another in less than anyone could react too. He made no sound for the shockwave came right after he went past.
" What the heck was that?", shouted one student noticing the loud shockwave that just past.
" What?", they could see the trail of smoke in the sky a few metres above them
" Someone moved ", answered one student
" The Fiends aren't attacking anymore".
The battle was over. The Fiends weren't moving. They were still standing but they wer_
My my.
It seems we did not notice.
For their heads were metres in the sky, decapitated with sheer force and speed that the blood did not know it was time to spill. They lost their lives faster than their body realised.
" Comrade. This ", Ghazul extended his hands in joy urging everyone to take in the grim yet serene image. Heads of the defeated floating above a sea of blood. A bloody sea where only the triumphant could swim," This Comrade. This is the dream land ".
Guile couldn't help but smile. Seeing someone enjoy killing and battle to this ridiculous extent was mildly amusing.
The students looked around. Guile landed on the floor everyone else towering over him.
Ghazul regrouped with his friend. " Hahah. I killed more than you ", He said laughing.
It was true he did.
" Well that's cause I saved more than you ", Guile shot back with a smile.
Sir Orion quickly appeared right in front of the students. Along with Baileer. They weren't on the podium. Seeing him up close, the man's built like a mountain.
A few of the students knew stories of what came next.
Orion didn't say anything but for some reason he was cracking his knuckles.
" Do I take them now sir?", Baileer asked. He voice even more frail than her appearance.
" Hm ", Sir Orion grunted giving her the green light.
She teleported along with all the trainees who were girls.
The boys gulped left alone with Sir Orion.
" Wait don't tell me we get to_", Ghazul didn't finish his sentence. Do they actually fight Sir Orion? No way there's more than a 100 people here.
He didn't know whether to be happy or scared.
" You guys did real good. I see ", He tip toed on his feet easily, " so much potential ".
He landed and shook his arms.
" Right ", He readied his fist and took a stance. Like he was about to punch something.
Guile felt intense fear. This man's Arcane alone got him nauseous.
" Say which one of you asked about my tie?", his voice had a terrifying joy to it.
Ghazul knew all about. Guile looked up thinking Ghazul was only going to get scolded.
" Oh no ", Ghazul was still drenched in fiend blood. All the other trainees avoided him. They thought he was a monster to be that strong. But even he couldn't see what came next.
The guy wrenching punch from Sir Orion's mountain sized fist hit Ghazul so hard Guile was still looking forward staring at Sir Orion's after image. Ghazul spat out so much blood his chin was covered in it.
The force sent all the blood from Ghazuls clothes into the air and Ghazul out of the whole room hitting another and another an another.
Ghazul was out. Completely.
Sir Orion covered by white. His fist bloody. Now just in the midst of the trainees rowing over all of them.
Guile was the closest to him.
From above those battle hardened eyes fell to the purple haired Guile.
The fear was infecting. Guiles heart beating slow numb with the sight of this...this monster. His breath escaped him constantly.
This was what he faced.
If he wanted to change the system, or save that prisoner then this was what he faced.
" All right boys ", He grabbed Guile by the neck. It was too easy. Too easy to make his breathing hard.
The purple haired kid who seemed so powerful was now dangling off the hands of the rank 1 sentinel.
Like some sort of ragdoll, weak and helpless. The other trainees watched in fear.
" Second lesson!". He dragged Guile closer by the throat and knees him straight in the ribs. He shouted in pain spewing his guts out. The red blood staining Sir Orion's white clad suit.
" Scratch me and we stop sparring ",
He threw Guile far discarding him like trash.
" If you don't then I keep hitting you harder and harder ".
Those fists closed again. Sir Orion could barely hide the joy in his voice.
" Brace yourselves ".
