Yuki Kuroda opened his eyes to a blinding light. The last thing he remembered was walking home after another failed job interview—until a loud horn blared, and everything went black.
Now, he was standing inside a massive marble hall, surrounded by knights, nobles, and four other confused-looking people. A beautiful princess with golden hair and blue eyes stepped forward.
"Welcome, Heroes! You have been chosen by the gods to save our world, Aetheria!"
A translucent blue screen appeared in front of him, displaying his status.
