Things in the limousine were definitely… awkward, to say the least.
Lucius and Aphrodite were seated on one side of the car while Axel and his bodyguards occupied the other side.
The discussion had been progressing in pretty strange directions, but Lucius knew that it was only polite to answer the man's questions.
"You two seem quite close to each other. How long have you known each other exactly?"
Ever since they had gotten inside the car, Axel had begun showing more and more interest in Aphrodite. He did so much more respectfully than his son, Alex. However, the interest was certainly still there.
And since it was still within the limits of respect, Lucius did not mind answering such questions as long as they didn't insult him as a person.
"We've known each other for…"
"Three months."
"Two days."
Aphrodite and Lucius gave completely different answers.
Lucius was the one who had lied through his teeth while Aphrodite hadn't.
"Haha! So, who's telling the truth?"
