At the same time, Shantel got a notification on her phone. "Done, Boss."
She nodded satisfactorily, turned to the counter, and offered the cashiers a dazzling smile. "Now… where were we? Yes— Ring everyone's goods and charge everything to Ms Rhys' account. Ensure she pays before she steps foot out of here."
"Are you insane? Who are you to give orders here? I'm the owner of this mall. I can settle this however and whenever I want."
"Not anymore, sweetheart."
"Stop spewing nonsense," Willow snapped. "If I'm no longer the owner, are you then the owner?"
"You said it yourself. But in case you need confirmation you can check if you still have access to the mall's system."
Willow stormed behind the counter, her high heels clacking furiously against the marble floor as she shoved one of the cashiers aside and tapped into the mall's central system.
Her fingers flew across the screen and within seconds her eyes narrowed inexplicably.
"Passcode denied?!" She read allowed.
