Back at Velvet Mirage, the excitement resumed as soon as Shantel returned to the table.
Resuming her crossed legs posture. Shantel leaned back in her seat as the first set of cards was dealt.
She barely glanced at her cards before making her move.
One by one, the players, which were initially six in number, folded and got eliminated in quick succession, until only two remained—Shantel and Cillian Rhys.
The last time they played, she had wiped the floor with him and from the look of things, history was about to repeat itself as the game progressed.
Cillian studied her across the table, his sharp brown eyes were calculating, but there was an underlying frustration that he was trying so hard but failing to mask, in them.
