A Dramatic Announcement
Sange had barely kicked off her shoes when the front door burst open with enough force to shake the walls.
"SANGE!"
Hiraya stood in the doorway, arms spread wide, eyes shining with excitement, like she had just discovered the meaning of life.
Sange, still half-dead from work, groaned from her spot on the couch. "Unless you found a way to erase my boss from existence, please lower your volume."
Hiraya ignored her, practically vibrating with energy. "You. Will. Not. Believe. What. Just. Happened."
Sange didn't even blink. "Did you finally find a chaebol heir willing to fund your nonsense?"
Hiraya gasped dramatically, clutching her chest. "How dare you? First of all, rude. Second—NO! But close. I GOT A JOB!"
That got Sange's attention. She sat up slightly. "Wait… seriously?"
"Yes, bestie! I am now a certified, professional, highly trained TOUR GUIDE!" Hiraya struck a pose like she was on the cover of a travel magazine.
Sange blinked. "Wait… you? Giving people directions?"
"Yes!"
"In Korea?"
"Yes!"
"But you get lost in our own neighborhood."
Hiraya scoffed, flipping her hair. "Details. The important thing is, I'll be paid to talk and show people around! This is my calling!"
Sange buried her face in her hands. "Lord help the tourists."
Hiraya threw a pillow at her. "Anyway, I start tomorrow! Say goodbye to Unemployed Hiraya and hello to Miss Tour Guide Extraordinaire!"
Sange smirked. This was going to be entertaining.

Another Day, Another Headache
The next morning, Sange dragged herself to work, only to find her nightmare in full force.
Hyun Jae was micromanaging everything.
If she so much as breathed wrong, he'd appear with a new task.
"Sange, double-check the reports."
"Sange, have you scheduled the meeting?"
"Sange, why does this font look slightly off?"
"Because it's a FONT, sir! It's meant to LOOK LIKE THAT!" she screamed internally.
By lunchtime, she felt like she had aged ten years. The man was impossible.
Even worse, she kept getting these strange moments—like when she heard his thoughts the other day.
"Was that real? Or was I just imagining things?"
Then, the strangest thing happened.
---
The Most Unexpected Moment Ever
"Sange," Hyun Jae said, crossing his arms. "Take the rest of the day off."
Sange froze. "What?"
"You look like a ghost," he said flatly. "Go home. Get some rest."
Her eyes narrowed. "Are you… dying?"
He gave her a sharp glare. "Do you want me to change my mind?"
"No, sir! Thank you, sir! Bye, sir!" she said quickly, grabbing her bag and practically running out of the office.
Was she dreaming? Did Hyun Jae actually give her a break?
It was a miracle.
Or at least, it was—until a few hours later.
---
An Unexpected Call
Sange had just sunk into the couch, finally feeling some peace, when her phone rang.
She groaned, not even needing to look to know who it was.
Sure enough—Hyun Jae.
"Oh, come on! The man gave me a break just to haunt me at home?"
She picked up, already annoyed. "Sir?"
"Come to my house."
Sange sat up so fast she almost dropped her phone. "Excuse me?"
"There's something I need you to do. Now."
Her mouth opened, then closed. "You do realize… you just gave me the day off, right?"
A pause. Then, the audacity.
"I changed my mind."
Sange wanted to throw her phone out the window. But more than that… she was curious.
"Why is he calling me to his house?"
Her heart thumped strangely. Was this about work? Or was there something else?
Whatever it was, she had a feeling that this night was about to take an unexpected turn.
