Jaehoon is surprised at the revelation of him receiving free stat points for clearing the first trial. In his mind he thinks; "Eh? I got stat points from finishing the trials?! That's great! I can become even stronger with this! Will there anything like this in the future? I hope there is but I hope it's not like something that will turn me into a greedy person. Just for this time, it's fine because I'm trapped here and I have no other way. Next time in the future, if I'm with a party, I won't go by myself and leave my teammates in potential danger."
Before he does anything with the stat points, Jae-hoon looks around to find clues that will help them clear the second trial. He turns around and asks Soo-won; "Have you seen anything that could be some sort of clues for us, captain?"
Soo-won replied as he looked around; "No. Nothing yet. And it seems like everyone hasn't found anything yet as well."
"That's fine. Let's keep searching for clues. When we find one, inform each other about it," he says to Soo-won.
"Roger that, Lee," Soo-won understood what Jae-hoon was saying.
Everyone starts to search for clues as well. Not so long after, Yoon-jung finds something on the wall and she calls out for Jae-hoon to come over.
Jae-hoon turns around and walks to Yoon-jung and asks; "You found something, Yoon-jung-sunbae?"
She replied, "Yeah. Seems like some more writings, Jae-hoon. Can you translate it?"
"Yeah. I can translate it. Wait," he replied as the system does the job of translating the writings.
[Translating writings….]

"Let's see…. 'Trial of The Phantom. Your objective here is to catch all the remnants of the Anunakis. Once you catch them, you can put them on the altar in the middle of the room to progress. There will be a total of 30 Anunakis remnants. Once you finish this trial, the next door will open and your third trial will begin'. That's interesting. So we need to catch remnants," Jae-hoon reads the translated version of the writings and finds out that they need to catch remnants of the Anunakis to progress through this trial.
"So basically we need to catch them and put them on the altar right, Jae-hoon?" she asked Jae-hoon
He then replies; "Yeah. Sounds about right. Just catch them, put them on the altar and we will progress through this trial."
Yoon-jung nods and looks around for the remnants. Soo-won and the others do the same as well.
Meanwhile, Jae-hoon is looking at his stats trying to figure out where to allocate the free 10 stat points he got. In his mind he says; "I have 10 extra stat points because of clearing the first trial. Where should I allocate them? Right now, there's no fighting so it's best to find a stat that will help in this situation. Let's see for now. Stats."

"A stat that would help me in this trial would be…. Sense, maybe? Let's just try it. If I'm wrong, it's fine. Allocate all stat points to senses," he says as he looks at the stats and guess that senses will help him in this trial so he allocates the stat points to senses

In his mind he says, "I can sense a lot of things now…. And these feelings…. The remnants…. I could definitely sense them now. I guess there's no choice. I'll communicate with the team about this."
Jae-hoon turns around to speak to the others. "Everyone! Get ready! I'll guide you all to where the remnants are so follow my instructions,"
"Yeah!" Everyone replied.
Suddenly, he thought; "Oh. I just remembered. Yoon-jung-sunbae started to search for the remnants already. Does that mean she has heightened senses as well? Well that's to be expected of a mage…"
Jae-hoon also starts to chase the remnants that are visible for him while telling everyone else the other remnants' locations.
After some bit of chasing, Jae-hoon manages to catch one and immediately puts them on the altar and one of the torches on the wall lights up. He then says, "Those torches must be our indicators. I also felt weird why there were 30 unlit torches but now I understand why."
The rest of the group also look at the torches. Soo-won then shouts, "I got one! Jae-hoon, do I need to bring them immediately to the altar?!"
Jae-hoon replied, "Yes! Go! Fast!"
Soo-won wastes no time and brings the remnant to the altar and another torch lights up.
"That's 2 out of 30. Keep it up, everyone!" Jae-hoon says as he looks at the newly lit torch.
The team keeps catching remnants and putting it on the altar. One after another, more torches light up and the progress is faster. Currently, there's 23 torches lit up.
In his mind, Jae-hoon says, "A bit more and we're finished. Thank goodness there are torches that light up when we put the remnants on the altar. I should focus on this and we'll be finished in no time!"
Jae-hoon looks at the other team members. They're really working very hard to finish this trial. Each one of them chasing the remaining remnants. One after another, they managed to catch them. And finally, it's the last one and Yoon-jung catches it and puts the remnant on the altar and the final torch lights up.
Jae-hoon smiles and says, "Yes! We did it! Let's go!"
The others also follow Jae-hoon celebrating.
Jae-hoon sits down on the ground to take some rest. Yoon-jung then walks up to Jae-hoon and says, "You really are a genius, Jae-hoon. You understand the strange writings and you know how to solve all these trials."
He then replies, "Well…. It's nothing big really. I just feel really great that I could be of some help. I know I'm not strong. I'm just an E-rank after all."
Soo-won walks up to them to cheer up Jae-hoon by saying; "Don't be so down, Lee. What you just did back there was good enough for the team. Your commitment is the reason we could survive this. Without you, we would all be dead in here."
Jae-hoon replies with a smile on his face, "I'm glad I could be of help. Thank you everyone for supporting me until now. And thank you for protecting a weak Irregular Hunter like me."
Yoon-jung then says, "You're welcome. But, Jae-hoon. You're not weak. Your mind is strong to the point you could help us here. So, don't be down. Like the captain said. Without you here, we won't be alive by now."
Jae-hoon stands up and says, "Thank you for making me feel better. Then, let's go to the next trial."
Everyone then shouts, "Yeah!"
They all then walk into the next room which is where the third trial will be held.
