Inside the Practice Hall, Xiao Mo played the Orchid Melody while the girls observed in excitement as the fifth petal unfold.
From the tip of this unfurled petal, a single dewdrop condensed and then slowly rolled off. The girls' breath hitched in their throats as the dewdrop fell near the orchid tree's roots in the void.
The ripples surrounding the orchid tree intensified and soon the orchid tree dissipated to be replaced by a small pond. The water in this pond was rippling as if the dewdrop from the orchid tree had fallen into it.
"Is that a fish?"
One of the girls couldn't help but ask as they spotted something in the rippling pond. The others perked up and upon looking closer they indeed saw a fish swimming in the pond. It was initially hard to see because of its pale gray color and its slow swimming speed that didn't stir the water. Perhaps if the ripples weren't there, they might have missed it entirely.
