It was the next day, and the golden rays of the sun floated through the slightly opened window and fell onto the two youths who were on the bed.
Both were deeply asleep with their arms intimately wrapped around each other.
However, a knock suddenly sounded at the door waking them both.

"Big Sis? Are you awake?"
Bae-min's voice was heard drifting into the room.
However, Bai Luo momentarily didn't register the voice as he was preoccupied with panicking after waking up in such an intimate position with Xiao Mo. He quickly pulled his face away from his and tried to get out of his hold.
Xiao Mo, who had opened his eyes at the knock but closed them and went back to sleep unconcerned by Bae-min's appearance, held Bai Luo's waist tightly, stopping him.
"You-"
Bai Luo was angered by Xiao Mo's actions and wanted to curse at him, but he quickly had to stop himself.
"Big Sis, are you okay? I'm coming in."
Bae-min seemed to have overheard the rustling sheets and wanted to enter.
Bai Luo and Xiao Mo's expressions changed as they glanced at the room door that was sliding open.
Panicked, Bai Luo hurriedly said in his sister's voice, "D-Don't come in, I'm changing!"
"Oh, sorry."
Bae-min apologized and hurriedly closed the door.
"Big Sis, the other girls and I were waiting for you at the Tea Garden but seeing that you were late I came to see if you had any trouble. That boy from before didn't do anything to you, right?"
"Of course not, after we had a cup of tea he went to visit Brother's courtyard."
Bai Luo said this in a reassuring tone, but he turned to glare at Xiao Mo who was still holding him.
"He went to visit Big Brother's courtyard?"
Bae-min sounded surprised upon hearing that, but she quickly became angry.
"Why did he visit Big Brother? He better not desecrate Big Brother's innocence with his lecherous behavior."
Still glaring at Xiao Mo, Bai Luo responded softly.
"Bae-min, I'll get ready and be out soon, so you can return first."
"Okay Big Sis, I'll leave first."
Xiao Mo and Bai Luo then listened as Bae-min walked away. Only when her footsteps fully faded away did they release a sigh of relief.
"That was close, we almost got caught."
Xiao Mo said in a relaxed manner before he closed his eyes and laid his head back on the pillow. It seemed he planned on going back to sleep.
Bai Luo, however, was not having it.
"Let go!"
He tried to pry Xiao Mo's hands off him, but Xiao Mo instead drew him closer.
"Why are you in such a rush? Let's just stay like this for a few more minutes."
Annoyed, Bai Luo's hair and eyes suddenly glowed a faint blue color before a burst of blue Spiritual Qi exploded from his body and forcefully pushed Xiao Mo back.
Unable to react in time, Xiao Mo slammed into the wall beneath the window.
"Ugh…"
Groaning in pain, Xiao Mo rubbed his throbbing chest while watching as Bai Luo got off the bed with a huff. Even though he had already suspected from the night before that Bai Luo's Cultivation Realm was higher than the Innate Master Realm, he was nonetheless still shocked by his strength.
However, this matter quickly faded from Xiao Mo's mind when he saw Bai Luo's clothesless figure. His heart couldn't help but stir with emotions as he recalled the scenes from the night before.
Bai Luo saw him suddenly zoning out, and he couldn't help but frown at him.
"Why are you just lying there? You need to get dressed and leave before the maids who come in the morning to clean the room see you."
Xiao Mo snapped out of his thoughts and looked at Bai Luo, who went back to picking up his clothes after speaking.
Seeing his actions, Xiao Mo asked curiously.
"Are you still planning on disguising as your sister?"
Without looking back, Bai Luo responded.
"Of course, if it's revealed that she ran away with a secret lover, wouldn't that cause an uproar?"
"Indeed, it will, but surely you're not going to keep this up until the marriage, right?"
Bai Luo paused and said after a sigh.
"I initially thought as long as I could get you to annul the marriage arrangement, then everything would be fine. But it seems I was wrong. Is it your father that's forcing this marriage arrangement?"
Bai Luo turned to look at Xiao Mo with a questioning expression, and Xiao Mo nodded in response and explained.
"The marriage was first arranged between your sister and my Second Brother, but since he has passed away, the marriage arrangement fell onto me. When my father announced it, I starved myself for two weeks because I didn't wanted to go through it, but he still refused to cancel it. So, I thought since I couldn't convince him otherwise, I would just get my fiancée to oppose it with me."
Xiao Mo paused here, and after a moment of hesitation, he decided to be truthful.
"I initially thought your sister would cave in due to my father's pressure, so I had planned on making sure she was on my side."
"Oh, so is that the purpose of this recording jade slip?"
Bai Luo suddenly interjected before revealing a green jade slip from inside the bundle of clothes in his hand.
Xiao Mo smiled awkwardly but still nodded his head.
Seeing this, Bai Luo snorted. However, he couldn't be too angry given he had planned something similar.
"Then just consider us even."
Bai Luo said and then threw the jade slip to Xiao Mo.
Catching the jade slip, Xiao Mo looked at it in thought, before glancing up at Bai Luo and saying.
"You haven't answered my question about what you plan on doing next. Surely, you're not planning on keeping this up until we're married, are you? Though I wouldn't mind doing so, ha-ha."
Xiao Mo chuckled lightly after saying this, but Bai Luo snorted and said.
"Are you trying to be amusing? Who would want to marry you?"
Bai Luo then turned and headed for the closet at the back of the room.
Xiao Mo opened his mouth wanting to say something, but he closed it right after.
But a few seconds later his face scrunched up and he yelled indignantly at Bai Luo who was in the closet.
"What's wrong with marrying me? Do you still believe I'm a good-for-nothing that chases skirts all day?"
"Ha? Do you still have the face to ask why after what you did to me?"
Upon hearing Bai Luo's retort, Xiao Mo could only close his mouth once again.
