Chapter 2 - The Started(1)

BOOMMMM!!!

The explosion or whatever it was echoed in Victor's ears before his world turn dark.

as he slowly regained consciousness, His body ached, his head throbbed, and his vision blurred as he tried to make sense of his surroundings.

The last thing he remembered was the bus ride, the chatter of his classmates, and the looming silhouette of Mount Fuji, before he had close his Eyes and sleep But now everything was different.

Groans and confused murmurs filled the air as the rest of the class began to wake up one by one.

"Argh, my body hurts so bad..." someone groaned.

"What happened???" another voice cried out.

"Where is the teacher??"

"I think I'm gonna puke, arggg!!"

Victor blinked, his vision clearing as he took in the bizarre scene around him. The school bus was gone.

Instead, he was sitting on a smooth, white marble floor in the center of what appeared to be a massive, intricate red and blue spell circle.

The room if it could even be called that , it was vast and circular, with towering crystal pillars that reached toward a ceiling so high it was barely visible to the naked Eyes.

The air hummed with a soft, otherworldly energy, and the entire space was bathed in a gentle, ethereal glow.

'Maybe I'm dreaming from all those sleepless nights and daydreaming about the game,' Victor thought, rubbing his temples.

before He closed his eyes, hoping that when he opened them again, he'd be back on the bus And Claude's voice nagging him about college applications.

"VICTOR!! WHY THE HELL ARE YOU GOING BACK TO SLEEP IN THIS SITUATION??" Claude's voice screamed, followed by violent shaking.

Victor's eyes snapped open, and he glared at Claude, who was gripping his shoulders like a man possessed.

"Okay, okay, buddy, stop shaking me. It kinda hurts buddy." Victor said, pushing Claude's hands away from his shoulder.

Claude looked frantic, his usual cocky demeanor replaced by wide eyed panic.

"Do you know what happened, bae?" Everton's voice piped up nervously.

She clung to Claude's arm, her dark hair disheveled and her face pale.

Claude immediately shifted into protective mode, wrapping an arm around her.

"They no need to be afraid, my love," he said, his voice softening as he hugged her tightly.

Victor rolled his eyes. 'Great. Now I just become the third wheel. So wonderful.' He sighed audibly, earning a sharp look from Claude.

"Victor, what is this place?" Claude demanded, his tone shifting back to its usual bossy self.

Victor raised an eyebrow, feigning ignorance.

"Hmmm, how the hell am I supposed to know??? You think I'm omnipotent or sum?" he replied, his voice dripping with sarcasm.

Claude glared at him, clearly not amused. "Well, you're the one always buried in those fantasy games. Figure it out!"

Victor ignored him, turning his attention back to the room.

The spell circle beneath him was intricate, with glowing runes and symbols that seemed to pulse with energy.

The design was eerily familiar, though he couldn't quite place his had on it 'where have I seen it before, Hmmm!'.

The crystal pillars, the hum in the air, the ethereal glow it all felt like something out of a game. Or a dream. Or maybe something else entirely.

As he stood up, brushing off his clothes, Victor noticed something strange, His phone was still in his hand, but the screen was black, unresponsive. He pressed the power button, but nothing happened. It was dead.

"Great," he muttered under his breath. "Just great."

Around him, the rest of the class was starting to gather, their confusion and fear palpable. Some were crying, others were shouting, and a few were just sitting on the floor, staring blankly into space.

The teacher was nowhere to be seen.

Victor took a deep breath, trying to steady his nerves. Whatever had happened, panicking wouldn't help.

He needed to think, to figure out where they were and how to get back. But as he looked around at the fantastical surroundings, a part of him couldn't help but feel a flicker of excitement.

This... this was something out of one of his games.

And if there was one thing Victor was good at, it was figuring out the rules of a new world or so he Thought.

"Alright," he said, more to himself than to anyone else. "Let's see what we're dealing with here."

zoom fell into a tense silence as Ron Goldman, the golden-haired class president, stepped forward, his voice cutting through the chaos like a sharp blade.

"Guys, guys, GUYS, CALM DOWN!!" he shouted, his commanding presence immediately drawing the attention of the panicked students.

"As your class president, we shouldn't panic like this. It will only lead to more chaos and doesn't solve anything." Ron said, his tone steady and confident.

His words had a calming effect, and the students began to quiet down, their fearful murmurs fading into uneasy silence for a bit.

"Ron, what are we supposed to do then?" one of the students asked, their voice trembling.

Ron crossed his arms, his expression thoughtful. "We just sit and wait for now. There must be a reason why we're here," he replied, his calm demeanor reassuring the group.

Woosh!!

But before anyone could respond, a sudden woosh sound filled the air.

A gust of wind swept through the room, and the students turned their heads in unison as a woman descended from above, her white and Gold robe wrap around her.

The golden patterns on her robe shimmered in the ethereal light, and her presence was nothing short of awe inspiring.

She landed gracefully on the podium, her piercing gaze sweeping over the group.

"Children who are blessed by the Light," she began, her voice resonating with authority and warmth.

"I, Priest and Knight of Light Sandra Falcon, welcome you all to the Ministry of Light, We have summoned you here to aid our Child of Light in defeating the Child of Chaos."

The room erupted into a chaotic aray of voices.

"What does she mean by Child of Light?"

"I don't want to do this. I got accepted into Seoul University!"

"I ain't risking my life for some unknown world!"

Victor however was barely listening to the protests.

His eyes were wide, his heart racing with excitement Magic....Real magic.

The woman's robe, her commanding presence, the way she spoke—it was like something straight out of one of his favorite manga or games.

He could feel the sparkle in his eyes, the kind of excitement he hadn't felt since he was a kid discovering candy for the first time.

Sandra raised a hand, silencing the room once more.

"Children blessed by the Light, you cannot go back once you have been summoned, as the spell is only a one-way spell."

she explained, her tone firm but not unkind."If you help us, you will obtain glory and power beyond your imagination, With your inherent abilities, some of you will be able to etch your names in history."

She paused, her gaze sweeping over the group once more. "So, will you accept our call for help?" she finished, extending her hand toward the students.

Victor's mind was screaming, 'YES, YESSSS!!!!' This was everything he had ever dreamed of a chance to step into a world of magic and leave his Old World, power and adventure.

But before he could say anything, Ron stepped forward again, his voice calm and measured.

"What would we gain from staying here and helping this world?" Ron asked, his tone is confident but pointed.

Sandra's lips curved into a faint smile. "You would certainly receive our help to progress your power forward," she replied.

"And with that power, you may find opportunities and rewards beyond your wildest dreams While also providing The Tool You need To Grow."

Ron nodded, seemingly satisfied with her answer. He turned to the rest of the class, his expression serious.

"On behalf of all the students here, I would like to accept your request for help," he declared.

As soon as the words left his mouth, the spell circle beneath their feet began to glow.

A bright white light enveloped the group, and in the blink of an eye, they were transported to another room.

This one was even more breathtaking than the last. At its center was a giant orb, suspended in midair by a string of light that seemed to pulse with energy.

The orb radiated a soft, golden glow, casting the room in a warm, otherworldly light.

Sandra's voice echoed through the chamber.

. "Children who are blessed by the Light, you will now be studying in the Lumina Academy of Hero Arts to learn about this world and grow your power. As students of the Academy you will need to register your power now and every year to track your progress."

She gestured toward the orb. "This orb will help you awaken your blessing from the God of Light."

Victor's heart pounded in his chest as he stared at the orb.

This was it. The moment he had been waiting for. He could feel the excitement bubbling up inside him, threatening to spill over.

He glanced at Claude and Everton, who looked equal parts nervous and skeptical, and then at Ron, who seemed as composed as ever.

But Victor didn't care about their reactions, This was his chance to step into a world he had only ever dreamed of, And he wasn't going to waste it.

The room Then fell into a hushed silence as Sandra's words sank in "The closer a person is to the Light, the more powerful their ability will be."

she explained, her voice carrying a weight of solemnity.

"The orb before you will not only awaken your blessing but also measure your affinity to the Light, Those with a strong connection will be granted greater power, while others may find their abilities... more modest."

A ripple of unease spread through the group, The students exchanged nervous glances, some shifting uncomfortably on their feet.
