"what do you want this time" seeing her looking at him from time to time while still following, lu yichen asked her directly.
"Umm, I'm just wondering if you have someone you like." Evelyn asked him timidly. Afraid that, this will be his sore point and she has to take the burnt if not careful.
"Why do you want to know." Lu yichen paused in his steps and looked back at the girl who is asking such an unexpected question.
"You see, you are so good looking, so I'm just curious." She said.
"Do you think I'm good looking and attractive." He asked back.
"Of course, you are. But tell me who is the lucky person to have you." She got bolder.
"Why? You want to be the lucky one."lu yichen raised his eyebrows teasing her.
"Who wants to be lucky. I was just curious. If you don't want to tell, fine!" Flustered,she walked past him quickly. She just wanted to get the information from him. Why is now that she has become his victim.
"Let me suggest you, don't think about love matter anymore. You are too little to think about that." Lu yichen caught up to her.
"Why do you always says, I'm little. If I have my id I'd have slapped it on your face." She huffed.
"But you don't have. So, you are consider little." He teased her.
"Do you think you are old then. You just looked to be in your early twenties and yet you have the guts to say that." She retorted back. " Beside, why would you care about my love life. You are not my guardian. And also, I would not fall for such a cold hearted man like you."
"You are living in my home. So, now you are my responsibility. As for latter, it better be that way. Don't have any other idea." He smirked at her and walked away from her to go to his room.
Evelyn stumped her feet and angrily entered her room. She must come with another plan to get the information. But she now believes her prediction to be wrong. That man is so irritating and cold hearted, he can not fall in love. It must be one sided love from Liam. She has to tell this to her partner in crime tomorrow.
Next day, Evelyn waited for Leon to come.
"Leon, come. I have been waiting for you." She waved when she saw him.
"Why wait for me. You should have texted me." Leon said while walking towards her.
To this Evelyn pouted, it's not like she didn't want to but she won't be able to." I don't have phone." She complained.
"Oh, Soo poor. Whatever, what do you find yesterday." Leon asked
"I didn't find anything but I think it must be one sided. That man doesn't seem to be one to fall in love. But we still have to confirm it." She said.
"That is like my boss. As for my brother, I asked him yesterday he denied having anyone he loved but when it comes to boss he is really protective." Leon started.
"Let me tell, to make him jealous,I told him that you are trying to seduce our boss and he got so angry that he said he will convince boss to make you leave from this mansion." Leon gloated for finding such an important piece of information.
Evelyn looked at him speechless and troubled. She wanted to help them, yet this fool created trouble for her. He used her as a sacrifice and caused the possibility that she might have to leave. Thinking this she glared at him.
"Let me tell you, if I have to leave because of their jealousy, I'm not going to let you off. You just watch, I thought of you as my friend but you created trouble for me." Evelyn looked at him angrily and went to watch her drama leaving him standing there.
"Hey, I didn't think that way, okay!" Leon was stunned for her outburst but he quickly followed her explaining the matter.
"It's because you are stupid. Someone has said correctly, it's better to have smart enemy than a stupid friend." She berated him.
"I accept this time I didn't think much. But don't you dare say, I'm stupid. I'm the most intelligent person here, do you know I have been called genius from young age." He snorted.
"Then the person who gave you a title must be person who has already lost his mind. " She rolled her eyes at him.
"Just because I was nice, you took me for a soft person. So you think,I will not be able to win if I fight with you." He sneered at this time both forgetting their agreement.
"Oh, I'm scared." She mocked him.
"I will let you go this time." Leon said and sat on the sofa to watch the tv.
"This is my tv, who let you watch it." Saying this Evelyn turned off the television.
"Don't act like kid. This is my home, okay. Now give me the remote." He tried to snatch it.
"I won't give it to you. It's mine." She fought back. This childish fact in fact escalated to suach extent that Leon has now now one hand on remote and other on her collar. While the Evelyn has her both hand on his hair.
"What do you think you both are doing" came a sound from behind them. When they looked back, they saw lu yichen standing there with cold expression followed by Liam.
Both of them let go of their hands at the same time as if child has been caught doing something bad.
"Alex, he is bullying me. He won't even let me watch television." She complained to him first with her eyes getting blurred with unshed tears.
Leon looked at her speechless. She is lying through her teeth yet acting like a victim.
And where the heck did she got her tears from within a second.
"No boss, she is clearly lying. She was the one who is bossing around" Leon has not even completed his sentence when he got reprimanded.
"Aren't you ashamed for bullying a little girl. You even fought with her knowing full well how strong you are. Go to the basement, you will be assisting Sebastian all day." Lu yichen gave his order.
"Boss, can't you give me something else" Leon wanted to struggle but seeing lu yichen's experience, he stopped.
Even Liam looked at him in disgust. Though Liam didn't like the girl, be still is not someone to bully her physically that is something beneath him.
Leon looked speechless. He knew what his brother is thinking but only he know what has happened and that girl is not someone to get bullied easily. Earlier, though he was grabbing her collar to intimidate her but the girl hasn't shown any mercy as she has pulled his hair so hard making scalp ache.
Fine, he will take this loss, but next time. Thinking this, he walked away and Liam also followed him to know exact matter.
"Alex, are you going to chase me?" She pouted.
"What are you saying. Didn't I make myself clear that you can stay." He raised his eyebrows.
"But Leon said Liam don't like me and he is going to persuade you to chase me away." She complained.
"Don't take others word seriously. If I said you can stay then you can. Don't care about others." Saying this he left.
And because of her complain, Lu yichen thought everyone is bullying the girl. So, when Liam came to persuade him, he has been reprimanded coldly by his boss.
" I didn't expect this from you too. As a man, aren't you ashamed to bully her. Don't bring her matter in the future. I won't change my stance." This left Liam dumbfounded. What has he done,he has yet to make a move.he is just concerned but he has to take such a blame.
