Olivia bit her lip, debating whether or not to reveal everything. She could already feel the weight of their eyes on her, but it was too late to turn back now. She had made a choice, and it had to be out in the open.
"The deal I made," she said quietly, "the one with the system. This is the last trial I can skip."
A beat of silence stretched between them as the group processed her words. Then, Ellie spoke, her voice laced with disbelief, "You lucky duck."
"But why?" Arya's curiousity got to the best of her. She cannot contain the fact that she has so many questions for Olivia, and this is one of them. Like what's in it for Olivia to take a very risky deal?
Olivia replied, her voice tight, the guilt in her eyes obvious. "The system offered me a way out — Three trials. From my first trial, I could skip the second, third and this — skip the fourth trial — but... it's the last one."
