Auri wiped the sweat off of his forehead, letting out a sigh as he surveyed the now spotless room with a vague sense of fulfillment. He didn't expect he would finish it before dark, but after hours of battling dirt and dust (and a stubborn brush), he managed to make the shabby place look tidier than before.
It now looked habitable. Well, habitable for a homeless guy like him.
Glancing down at himself, Auri scowled upon seeing his own state. He had been so focused on cleaning that he hadn't realized he now resembled the mess he had just cleaned. His clothes caked dirt and streaks of grime marred his arms. Even his hair had gathered debris and cobwebs, making the itch on his scalp worsened.
