As I grabbed the knife, stabbing into S, she coughed up blood and bile.
"Why?" She asked, desperate for an answer.
"You didn't tell me." I whispered.
"What?" She asked, not understanding the situation.
She didn't tell me the truth. She lied to me. I should've killed her from the start, but I wasted my time in pointless banter, trying to befriend this fucking kid.
"You didn't tell me, that I was gonna be a vessel for a God!"
Her eyes widened, and in one instance, asked how I knew. "How! How did you know!?"
I looked over to her in anger. "Did you think I was stupid? Did you think I was a fucking idiot!"
I recalled back when I was unconscious, and that woman told me that. At first, I thought it was just some kind of silly dream, but when I woke up, I could actually see it! The red thread of fate! That proves that the dream was real!
She told me, that S had a benefactor. The God of Freedom, Libertas! And that I was a tool to revive her! And that S was likely using me!
To be honest, I wasn't sure, but decided to kill S, just in case. I thought it was a lie, but she just admitted it!
"I'm sorry, but I had to!" She screamed in regret. The wound I gave her closed up, completely healing. Her shapeshifting was able to heal her completely.
As I teleported into the sky, I screamed out. "You knew since the beginning! The moment you met me, it was all just a plan to trick me to become a vessel for the Gods! I don't know how you planned to do it, but our meeting wasn't just a coincidence! You planned it from the start, you fucking snake!"
She screamed out in anger. "So? Like you weren't gonna betray me, too! I've come too far to give up now! I had to lie, cheat, scandal, steal, and kill just to get to this point! You don't know how hard I worked for this! How many innocent people had to die for me to do this! And you ruined it, ruined the chance for me to see my benefactor! I was so close! We just had to get to the War Torn Nation and have you kill the Energy Psycho before I got Libertas to take over your body!"
Talking as if she was a good person, as if she wasn't a piece of shit who committed just as many crimes as me! Nothing but a self-righteous hypocrite who uses people!
It infuriated me so much, and to think I grew a liking to this kid! Trying to trick myself into not caring about her well being! She used me!
I was her fucking toy!
"I have nothing left to say to you. Prepare to die." I said, teleporting into her, planning to kill. As she shifted into a monstrosity of flesh and eyes, I realized that I couldn't teleport inside of her. It would be pointless, she could just reform like she did before, without a semblance of an injury. I had to figure out a different way to kill her!
I knew I could run away! I could teleport out of danger the instant she tried to finish the job.
But I didn't want to run away.
I wanted to kill her.
As a giant boney spear appeared from that monsterous form she took, I was only barely able to teleport out of the way. My reaction time wasn't fast enough.
She was trying to kill me! She truly didn't care about my life, she was just using me, and to think...
Thinking back, I thought of her weird facial features that looked like a character select menu. She never showed me her real face! She probably just meshed random facial features together from people she'd seen. No wonder it was so uncanny. She was just a fraud, and I was conned! Scammed!
As she transformed into many different forms, she also shifted into animals as well. She shifted into a giant falcon, bursting through the sky at exciting speeds. At the last moment, she shifted into a giant wasp, much, much stronger, and over 30 feet tall! I tried to dodge, but her stinger shot out at me, impaling me in the eye.
As I teleported back, I laughed, my bloody eye popping with redness! It seemed like my face truly horrified her at that very moment, as I looked like demon, seemingly feeling no pain from a burst eye.
But the truth was, I was so angry at her that I didn't even think of the blinding pain.
"Haha! Is that all? Now i'll wipe the floor with you!" I shouted out while laughing in a sadistic tone.
This is the moment! A battle between Chaotic Demons, where the entire world could see.
As I saw a power plant, and a giant military base in the distance, S attacked, and shot me through the sky, making me nearly hit both buildings.
"Whew! That was close!" I shouted. I knew that if I landed there, I would've died instantly. I'd have become a bloody puddle of slop on the ground.
"Catch me if you can!" I cried out, laughing wildly! As I teleported away, leading her to follow me. As I did that, I noticed that my teleportation was way more powerful!
As I teleported all across cities and countries, I looked behind me as S stretched out in uncanny ways, her giant flesh form growing wings, and able to follow me, even at near-instant speeds of teleportation.
As I ripped through the sky, a pang of happiness shot through my anger. "I finally mastered it! Quantum flight! I can teleport through the air!"
As we teleported and shifted all across New America, I shot through the entire world.
As we looked down while battling, me barely surviving the craziness of battle with another heartless Chaotic Demon!
Giant cities underneath us all looking up at us, as if we were Gods fighting in a human domain! Many civilians and people looked at us, desperate not to get caught up in the crossfire.
It was too late, as I teleported in the middle of a bustling city, and S, in her giant form, ripped down into the city, chasing me, screaming at a volume that hurt my ears. She shredded and shifted through buildings, skyscrapers, and even people, killing them instantly. As giant skyscrapers fell down, the casualties easily ran in the multiple hundreds, seeing children and women even praying and begging as they and their friends died.
"See, now. You don't care, you act like you did it for your benefactor, but you easily kill hundreds without hesitation!" I shouted, trying to get her to see the piece of shit she really was.
To my surprise, she was coherent enough to respond. "Shut up! You'd do the same for your own benefit! You're no better than me! You are a Chaotic Demon!!"
Teleporting away, I realized it, in the air! Fighter jets! The military was there! They wanted to kill us!
As we both battled to the death, we dodged missiles and cannon that blasted through the sky, making the entire city a broken warzone.
Now, there was nothing but blood, guts & death, the entire city bathed in destruction.
One fighter jet in particularly, ran into me mid quantum-flight, nearly killing me. As I coughed out blood while staring into the window of the fighter jet, seeing a man inside, I got an idea!
As I teleported inside of the fighter jet, teleporting right into the seat, I saw the guy flying it.
"What the fuck!" He screamed in shock.
I only smiled, and talked calmly. "These fighter jets are pretty cool. Mind if I take it for a spin?" I asked, while seeing S tear apart the city looking for me in the corner of my eye.
"WHERE THE FUCK ARE YOU!! ADRENALINE JUNKIE!!!" She screamed in nothing but pure rage.
As I sat right next to the pilot, he started crying, with tears streaming all across his face. I felt his heart race, and simply said, "Don't worry. Calm down. We all die someday. Your's just happens to be a bit sooner than most. You interrupted me in a very important moment."
He started panicking, and he even started pleading for his life. "Please! Please don't kill me! I have a family, I have a beautiful daughter who just tur-" He stopped, as I teleported my finger through his brain from behind. The man instantly turned braindead, the fighter jet losing control & crashing into a building. I saw the office workers in the building panic, as they rushed to escape, but it was far too late. The fighter jet crashed into the building, causing a giant explosion of fire & ash. Many people died, and I even saw a woman who's body had been shredded apart from the waist down. Looking at her for a second, I laughed for a bit, and said "Nice tits." Before leaving. A guy on the other side, screamed.
"How can you be so callous! You sick, pathetic freak!!"
He was probably offended by my comment, but how could he expect me to not point it out?
Tired of his bullshit, I teleported right in front of him, killing him too. The blood from his body surrounded me, and I thought it was nasty, but I picked up a bit of blood splattered on my shirt & gave it a taste. "You know what, maybe she's got the right idea about this cannibalism typa stuff." I said, definitely reconsidering the idea.
As I teleported to the top of the building, S caught wind of me, and rushed over to me, willing to kill me!
Wind blew in my hair, and as I felt the fresh air, I smiled. Even if I was starting to think of her as a younger sister, or even a daughter, in the end, she still betrayed me.
This is why you don't open your heart to anyone. I made this mistake, time and time again, and each time I made the mistake, I paid for it even worse than the last time. I didn't know why I thought it would be different this time. I should've never opened my heart this time. The emotional wounds were too grievious, and I couldn't think straight.
As she crashed into the giant building, I teleported in the sky, and laughed. "Ha! I've got you exactly where I want you!"
In history, grenades can be very small, and they weigh very little, but what I was going to use wasn't a grenade. It was much more powerful.
"Why do you think I led you here, of all places. Take a look at this city! Not only is there a power plant, but there's even a military base! Every major city has one!"
As I saw all of the innocent people running away and trying to evacuate the city, I could only laugh at their hopelessness. They weren't going to escape this today. They were all going to die, along with this shapeshifting freak!
As I teleported away, I found myself in a dusty room inside of the military base. There, the item I had been searching for was right there.
I teleported back into the sky carrying a large item.
As S looked on in horror, she screamed in fear. "You wouldn't! You would never!"
I chuckled a bit, and gave her a bit of a history lesson.
"The atomic bomb dropped in Hiroshima, an alternate world, was actually over 9700 pounds. It was equal to way over 10,000 tons of TNT being fired off at once. But in this world, the technology is so advanced, that bombs can weigh as little as 90 pounds, and almost do as much damage as Hiroshima. In fact, this is what is used regularly in the War-Torn-Nation. You see, I've done my research! These things are pretty neat!"
In my hands, was a small bomb, one that looked weak, but, in reality, was powerful enough to wipe this city off the map.
After this day, nobody would survive this.
I knew that military people were watching this, but they wouldn't be able to stop it. They would only be able to watch.
As the shapeshifter desperately tried to escape at top speed, I could only laugh and laugh, cackling and howling in the air like a hyena!
She screamed, desperately trying to get away. "Help me! He's gonna commit genocide!!"
Laughing, I said "Help you? There's no one here to help you! You will die here. Goodbye."
As I dropped the bomb, a giant light flashed all across the city, lighting up the sky in fire, shining all across the world!!
As the bomb landed, the entire city was completely destroyed, hundreds of thousands of people, all dead or seriously injured. The blast had fried all electricity, destroying buildings at a near atomic level, and incinerating S to nothingness.
As everything died in a giant blast of amazement, I blacked out. It was only for a second, but it was strange. When I came to, it seemed like S had been completely disintegrated by the blast, not a single speck of her was left.
Quite literally, an ocean of dead bodies piled the streets, as many fathers, mothers, sons & daughters started weeping for their loved ones.
"So weak. Why do they even care?" I asked myself, giggling to myself. "It's not like their lives will change all that much anyway. Just wait, in a few months, half of these douchebags will be back in their office jobs, complaining about how high their taxes are."
As I travelled across the ruined city, something caught my eye. A dog was howling and crying at the sight of its owner, who had been split cleanly in half from the rubble that occurred from our battle. I nearly shed a tear for the animals loss in life, but steeled my resolve. "It's all for my perfect world." I told myself, quickly leaving the sad scene.
One of the reasons I was so fond towards dogs in particular was because of my pet dog I had on Earth.
Humans can fight & die all the time, but every once in a while, a cute animal suffering got to me. Of course, at the end of the day, I would kill it's owner all over again just for a moticom of power. Hell, screw the owner, if I had something to gain from it, I might've flayed the dog alive myself!
Smiling in satisfaction, I started Quantum Flying away, before seeing a man clutch a little girl. I slowed down & teleported right in front of him.
"How could you... my daughter..." He muttered, his eyes having a giant sense of shock in them. He even had a giant bloody scar across his face. I found it kinda shocking how he was even still alive. I assumed that he was just outside the blast radius, but his daughter wasn't, so he only got hit by some shrapnel from the attack, while his daughter was too weak to survive. Regardless, it was a miracle that he managed to survive. He looked to be a general in the army or something. Either way, I just didn't care.
Quickly teleporting away, I saw something in the distance. What? A woman?
I was confused until realizing that she wasn't just sitting in the sky. She was going towards me!
As I saw her face, it sent shivers down my spine, shocking me to my core!
A giant spiraling golden energy ripped from around her entire body, as she screamed in excitement.
"ADRENALINE JUNKIE! I'VE FOUND YOU!!" She screamed in excitement.
It's her. The energy psycho!!
Oh, fuck! I wasn't ready to deal with this!
"Now's not a good ti-" I tried to say, before she burst forth and shot through the sky, punching me with all her power. I barely teleported away, feeling immense strain on my entire body.
"Damn it..." I whispered, seeing my bloody body, already damaged from the previous fights. As she continued to attack and shred through the already devastated city, she screamed, a delightful scream of pure happiness. "This place reminds me of home! Now, die!!"
Barely dodging, I realized that her immense super speed was so fast it nearly caught up to my teleportation, which was near instant.
As she laughed, she shot up, and screamed. "Ahh! You're stronger than I thought! Face my ultimate ability!!"
As she said that, her entire body turned into the glowing energy, and the energy blast, started following me at enormous speeds. No matter how far away I teleported, the giant wave of energy followed, like a horror movie villain stalking the protagonist!!
As I barely escaped, the giant blast of energy grew, and completely surged throughout the entire country, blinding the night sky and illuminating everything.
Caught in the crossfires of the energy blast, I could only watched as it tore through everything, ripping through my entire body, completely catching me off guard, and sending me flying through the entire city. At that moment, beaten and bloody, unable to fight, and certainly not strong enough to get up, I fell unconscious as I saw the Energy Psycho fly away, having thought she killed me.
It was at that day, that I, the Adrenaline Junkie, lost.
