(Izaki lies on a hospital bed, his body wrapped in bandages. His breathing is steady but weak. Kazen and Hellesa stand beside him, their expressions tense. The atmosphere is heavy with uncertainty.)
Kazen (urgently): We need to move him. He's losing a lot of blood. If we wait any longer, he won't make it.
Hellesa (worried): I agree, but I don't even know where we are.
Kazen (glancing around): There's a hospital nearby. If we go straight and take a left, we'll find it.
(Without hesitation, they lift Izaki and hurry toward the hospital. Once there, doctors take him in for immediate treatment. Hours later, a doctor approaches them in the waiting area.)
Doctor: The patient is stable now. You can see him.
Hellesa (relieved): Thank you.
Kazen (looking around cautiously): We need to find a place to stay. We can't remain in this area any longer, or they'll find us.
Hellesa (concerned): But where do we go?
(A deep, unfamiliar voice cuts through their conversation.)
Mysterious Voice: I think you need some help.
(Kazen and Hellesa instantly tense up, turning to face the stranger. A tall figure with sharp eyes and an unsettling smirk steps forward.)
Kazen (suspiciously): Who are you?
Stranger: The name's Kamesa Izaki. I used to be a low-ranking assassin for a secret organization. I heard my old friend Izaki is here.
Hellesa (hesitant): He's… being treated right now.
Kamesa (crossing his arms): What happened to him?
Hellesa: It's a long story. We'll explain later. Right now, we need a place to stay—somewhere safe.
Kamesa (grinning slightly): I might be able to help with that. I have a safe house not too far from here. You can stay there for a month if you'd like.
(Kazen leans toward Hellesa, lowering his voice.)
Kazen (whispers): This guy seems suspicious.
Hellesa (whispers back): I agree, but do we have a choice? If we don't go with him, we might not survive. And Izaki is in no condition to fight or run. We need to take this chance.
(Kazen lets out a reluctant sigh before nodding.)
Kazen (to Kamesa): Alright, we'll stay there for a month.
(Just then, the doctor returns, giving them permission to see Izaki.)
Doctor: He's stable now. You can talk to him.
Hellesa (nodding): Okay.
Kazen: Let's check on him.
Kamesa (casually): Mind if I come along?
(Hellesa narrows her eyes at him before leading the way to Izaki's room. Inside, Izaki stirs slightly as they approach. His gaze is heavy with exhaustion but sharpens when he sees the stranger among them.)
Izaki (weakly): Who's… this?
Kamesa (grinning): It's been a long time, old friend.
Hellesa (crossing her arms): Why do you want to see him?
Kamesa (calmly): Like I said, we go way back.
(Izaki studies Kamesa for a long moment, his breathing slow and measured. Tension fills the air as no one speaks. Finally, Izaki shifts slightly, grimacing from the pain.)
Izaki (quietly): Hellesa… Kazen… do you trust him?
(Hellesa and Kazen exchange uncertain glances before Hellesa finally responds.)
Hellesa (softly): We don't know yet. But right now, he's offering us shelter.
(Izaki closes his eyes for a moment, then opens them again, looking directly at Kamesa.)
Izaki (low voice): If you try anything… I'll end you.
(Kamesa chuckles, holding up his hands in mock surrender.)
Kamesa: Fair enough. But trust me—right now, I'm your best option.
(Izaki slowly opens his eyes, still weak from his injuries. Kazen and Hellesa stand by his bedside, relief washing over their faces. A stranger stands near them, watching silently.)
Kazen: Izaki, are you okay?
Izaki (groaning): Yeah… but who's this guy? He says he's my old friend.
Kamesa (smirking): It's me—your childhood friend from third grade.
Izaki (raising an eyebrow): Childhood friend? I don't remember you.
Hellesa (shrugging): Well, memory or not, he's offering to help. You're stable now, so we should get moving.
Kazen: Hellesa, where exactly are we going?
Hellesa: Apparently, your "friend" is letting us stay at his place for a month.
Kazen (muttering): This guy's definitely suspicious.
(They leave the hospital and step outside, where Kamesa gestures toward his car.)
Hellesa: So, where's this place?
Kamesa: Don't worry—I have a car. I'll take you there.
(As they drive, Kazen leans toward Izaki and whispers.)
Kazen: I think this "old friend" of yours is acting strange.
Izaki (dryly): I don't even remember him, so that makes two of us.
(The ride is long and tense. After 45 minutes, they finally arrive at their destination.)
Kazen (grumbling): Really? It took 45 minutes to get somewhere this close? Whatever.
(They step out of the car and look up at the house in front of them—a well-kept, spacious home in a quiet neighborhood.)
Hellesa (impressed): Oh, this place looks great.
Kamesa: You'll stay here for now. I have some work outside the city, so I'll be gone for two days.
Hellesa: Alright.
(Kamesa gives them one last glance before getting back into his car and driving away. As the sound of the engine fades, Kazen crosses his arms, watching the house warily.)
Kazen: I don't trust him.
Izaki (sighing): Neither do I. But for now, we don't have a choice.
(The three of them exchange cautious glances before stepping inside, unaware of what awaits them in the days to come.)
