The night was filled with raindrops as Ha-Joon stepped outside of the Juvenile prison. The echoes of his conversation with Gun still lingered in his mind, but he pushed them aside. There was no time to dwell, as his next move had already been decided.
Suwon.
The city where one of the weakest regional king ruled.
He planned to start from the weakest to strongest, while slowly expanding his influence all over Korea. And for that, he needed capable subordinate to execute his plan smoothly.
Ha-Joon made his way toward the train station, his pace steady yet measured. And slowly, he reached the last train at the station, and headed towards the entrance of the train.
As he boarded the last train heading south, settling into a seat near the window. His reflection stared back at him, his reverse eye glowing eerily yet filled with coldness. He pulled out a cigarette, resting it between his fingers before lighting it.
The glow flickered against the dim train lights. As the train rumbled forward, he exhaled a slow stream of smoke, watching the city lights blur past.
As he exhaled a puff of cigarette, he mind slowly drifted in his thought and smirked First, I need to cause chaos around Suwon to gain the attention of Seokdu Wang (Suwon King). And then, I can begin my hunt for the new subordinate.
The regional kings weren't just street fighters, they were monsters in their own right. Each one ruling over their respective territories with an iron grip.
But Ha-Joon wasn't here to negotiate, nor was he here to admire the city. He was here to fight and make a name for himself. And he planned to bulldoze all the major gangs and Suwon king with overwhelming Force without any strategy nonsense.
As the train sped toward Suwon, he could feel the tension in his muscles ease. The anticipation of battle was always of calming to him.
By the time he arrived, the city was filled with vibrant glow. Suwon was alive even at this hour, as the people were busy with their own works.
He cracked his neck, adjusting his coat and began to move towards the bustling city. He immediately wanted to start his operation.
But first, food.
Ha-Joon's stomach began to growl, reminding him that he hadn't eaten since morning. And before heading towards his next fight, he needed to fill his stomach. Wandering at the bustling city, he found a small, truck stall into an alleyway.
He ordered a steaming bowl of galbitang and a side of kimchi. As he ate, he savored the taste Korean cuisine has to offer.
Once he finished, he left a few bills on the table and stepped out into the cool night air.
Now, Let's begin... Here, I come Suwon.
.....
Without hesitation, Ha-Joon strode into the heart of Suwon's underbelly, where the city's gangs roamed freely. He wasn't interested in negotiations or scouting, he wanted to cause enough chaos to attract the attention.
He walked into the nearest gang-run bar, his gaze scanned the room filled with low-level small fry. Without a word, he grabbed the nearest bottle of soju and shattered it against the head of a man who had been laughing moments before.
The bar erupted in confusion, but before anyone could react, Ha-Joon was already moving, fists hammering into bodies with the force of a sledgehammer.
A man swung a bat at him, but Ha-Joon caught it mid-air, wrenching it from his hands and driving a brutal knee into the thug's ribs. Another charged at him with a knife, but Ha-Joon twisted his body, letting the blade scrape past his coat before retaliating with a devastating elbow to the attacker's temple, sending him sprawling across the floor.
One of the small fry, who seems to be the leader spoke, his voice laced with anger: "Gang up on him. Overpower him with the number."
The room descended into chaos, tables overturned, bottles shattered, and bodies collapsed under Ha-Joon's relentless onslaught. Remaining gang members who remained standing hesitated, realizing this wasn't an ordinary brawl, this was a complete massacre. Ha-Joon smirked, blood dripping from his knuckles.
"This is only the beginning.... Don't worry, Others will soon follow your example." Spoke Ha-Joon as he slowly began to stretch his body before draping his coat over his shoulder, which had fallen during the onslaught.
With the bar reduced to a ruin of groaning bodies, Ha-Joon kicked open the door and stepped into the streets. He moved swiftly, and began to target the key territories, gambling den, alleyway, underworld club. Within a hour or two, almost half of the gang of Suwon had been wiped clean by Ha-Joon.
Word of his deed spread fast. Gangs all over Suwon scrambled, trying to make sense of the lone monster tearing through their ranks. They hesitated to take action against him as Seokdu had warned them not to cause unnecessary problem within the territories.
He ripped through a drug den next, taking on a dozen men at once. They had weapons, pipes, bats, even firearms, but none of it mattered. His mastery of combat, honed through years of brutal self-training, turned every strike into a calculated devastation.
A man swung a lead pipe at him; Ha-Joon sidestepped and delivered a short, explosive punch to his liver. The man collapsed instantly, eyes rolling back.
Another tried to flee. Ha-Joon caught him by the back of the head and slammed him into a metal shutter, denting it. The remaining gangsters looked at each other, fear gripping them.
They had no choice but to fight. But even together, they were nothing before Ha-Joon's overwhelming might.
Blow after blow, they crumbled.
By the time he left, the streets behind him were littered with bodies, groaning or unconscious, some too broken to move. He wiped his bloodied hands on his coat, exhaling: "Hehehe... Suwon king, what will you do, if your man are in trouble."
He decided to stop the massacre and planned to start in the early morning. He decided to wait for them to gather together before taking them in one fell swoop.
Word of his rampage reached the highest levels of Suwon's criminal world.
....
In a dimly lit room, one of the previous battered small fry which had been knocked by Ha-Joon began to report the news of his rampage.
And upon hearing the new of his territories getting wrecked by a mere teenager. Seokdu Wang was fully enraged. Afterward, he immediately ordered the small fry to investigate about Ha-Joon.
After ordering, he slowly moved towards the window, watching his city and thought about Ha-Joon
Motherf******... I will peel off skin from your body. Just you wait.
