-Pierce I'll take over the hostages defence, while you try to get to Loki's rear. - The captain quickly suggested a plan, looking at the picture on one of the screens in the quinjet.
-Okay, then drop me off behind that building over there. - Pointing to one of the buildings neighbouring the banquet hall, Pierce said.

Jumping down in front of Loki, the captain covered the old man who had stood up. He then distracted the god of deception with light conversation, letting the men leave and me get behind the Asgardian. Coming in from behind, I, who had long ago taken my second form, stabbed him in the back, and Steve threw his shield in Loki's face. The moment I made contact with his body, I was through and through. And I thought I was already quite trained in recognising visual illusions, but it seems the Asgardians are a head above me in this. I couldn't continue thinking about the high skills of my opponent because of the coloured shield that flew into my face. Quickly orienting myself, I did not leave the trajectory of the cap's weapon and repeating the winter soldier's trick I grabbed the shield with my left hand and without slowing down for a second launched it towards the cap, namely into the divorced part of the space half a metre away from the captain.
Loki, who was not expecting such a reaction to his ally's attack, was caught off guard and received a shield to the body and wiped several metres of German tiles, landing on several steps. His staff was a dozen metres away from the god of deception and Loki, who was about to get up, received a new portion of counterforce released from the repulsors of the armour of Stark, who had appeared a few seconds ago.
-Your move, reindeer. - Said Tony, landing between me and Cap.
Loki "sort of" realised that the forces were not on his side and did not want to be captured, raised his hands and dispelled all his illusions.
-Good move. - A little smugly said Stark.
-Mr Stark. - Greeted Tony Steve.
-Captain. Ryan, have you got some make-up on, or is it just Fury's working conditions? - Tony asked with a chuckle as he watched Steve handcuff Loki and take him to Natasha's quinjet.
-I took a holiday in the mountains and... I couldn't get their colour back. - Pierce replied sadly.
-Don't worry, I know a good hair dye company, we'll take a bowl... or no, a barrel and you'll stop being a black sheep to your fellow agents. - Smiling under his helmet, Stark said, patting Rain on the shoulder.

Twenty minutes later in the air on the way to the heliker.
-Something's wrong. - Said Steve, eyeing the prisoner warily.
-What demon of the night gave in too easily? - With disdain for Rogers' excitement, Stark said.
-Well, let's say not so easily. - Steve replied.
-"I think I agree with the captain. - Ryan interjected.
-"And you're Pierce? - Tony said with feigned shock. -All right, all right, but what is surprising that he surrendered in the face of a numerical and qualitative advantage in the forces of the opponents? - With incomprehension of the excitement of colleagues pronounced Stark.
-The problem is that this is the god of cunning and deception. And just a few dozen minutes ago he was preaching that he had come to conquer all earthlings. And I understand that gods can have egos, but this show was too reckless a move for a man preparing an invasion. I think he's a distraction that's causing us to overlook something more important. - Pierce voiced his thoughts. With these words he made Stark look at their victory and their prisoner give Pierce an interested glance.
At that moment, the calm sky around the quinjet was coloured white by flashes of lightning. Pierce and Loki simultaneously shivered.
-What's the matter with you, scared of lightning? - Noticing the reaction of both of them, Steve asked Loki. The captain could understand the young man's phobia, but the god's reaction surprised him.
-I'm not excited about what will follow them. - Answered Steve's question, the Asgardian.
A couple of seconds after Loki's answer, something landed on the roof of the quinjet, causing the transport to lose its smooth flight for a couple of seconds. Stark immediately put on his helmet and headed towards the control panel to open a path to freedom. Thor immediately flew into the opened part of the quinjet and without letting Stark take any action, he drove Iron Man into the chest and threw the billionaire off, taking Loki with him.
-Now this one. - Annoyed Tony said getting up from the floor of the quinjet.
-Another Asgardian? - Asked Steve.
-Did you even read the files on Loki? - Looking at the captain in surprise Pierce asked.
-I was given a dry summary. - Rogers replied with a slight hesitation.
-This is Loki's brother, Thor. And as I know, on his last visit to Earth, he and Loki were far from brotherly love. He even sent some Asgardian robot to kill Thor. - enlightened the centenarian soldier Rahyn.
-Whether he frees Loki or kills him, we'll never get the Tesseract back. - Stark replied, determined to fight. Then he headed for the exit of the quinjet.
-Stark we need a plan of attack. - Said Steve, putting on his parachute.
-I already have one, and you and the kid can make your own. - Replied Tony jumping down after Thor.
-What do you say, Captain, let's go get the gods? - Pierce asked with a bloodthirsty smile.
-There's one god guy and I'm pretty sure he's dressed differently. - Replied Steve, walking to the edge of the back panel of the quinjet and looking down.

Steve and I landed not far from the battle between Stark and Thor that had begun. We were supposed to arrive at the battle site a minute later and help Tony, but it was on the approach to the unfurled part of the forest that Stark decided to show Thor the local sights. And by the time we arrived at the battlefield Thor was already getting to know the mountain a kilometre away. Without uttering a word, the captain and I realised that we had to hurry up and using all our superhuman strength we set off in the direction of the fight. Since I was stronger and my form felt more at ease in such a terrain I developed a speed several times faster than Rogers and arrived at the battle with a good gap.
At the moment of my arrival, Stark and Thor were wiping the ground together like some drunkards and throwing weighty punches at each other, after which each broke a tree or two. Even without long observation, it was apparent that the advantage was on the side of the Asgardian god. Thor was quite skilled with his mjolnir, which caused dents to appear here and there on Stark's armour. Tony held up well, considering that he had no experience in fighting such an opponent, and most of his weapons were unusable. Thor was always in close combat, so Stark didn't always have time to use repulsors, and missiles were out of the question. Lasers had a good chance of being fatal, and the Asgardian tourist wasn't a deadly enemy, so Tony wasn't ready to kill him yet. But given the direction the battle was heading in about five to seven minutes, Stark might change his mind.
Checking the gloves I'd put on before the fight and praying for Thor's not-so-strong thick-skinnedness, I rushed to my friend's aid. As Thor was about to drive the armour's reactor into Tony's battery, I flew into the lightning god with both feet, causing him to fall to the ground, while I rolled over and stood next to Stark. At the moment of collision with Thor's body, I felt for the first time like a simple man hitting a concrete wall as hard as I could. My legs stung, and I even felt like something crunched in them.
-What the hell are you made of? - Pierce said, unhappily.
-I have the same question. - Standing up and letting out a grunt of pain, Stark said. Thor's attacks seemed to have reached the armour-bearer himself.
-"Retreat, mortals. Even the two of you are no match for a god. - Said the god, rising almost unscathed. Only the dirt on Odinson's armour spoke of the battle.
-I have an idea, but I'll need your main weapon. - Said Pierce.
-I've already shot him with a repulsor and all I got was a couple of abrasions that are now gone. - Said Stark in a disgruntled tone. Few people like to feel almost completely unable to fight back.
-I need to distract him, because if that doesn't work, all we have to do is call the Hulk.
-Good. - Agreed Stark and flew a dozen metres up and began to charge the main repulsor on his chest.
While Tony was preparing his attack, Raine dashed towards Thor. The God of Thunder had already started to twirl his hammer, either preparing to throw it towards Tony or going to block the enemy's attack. At the moment when the Asgardian was only a couple of metres away, Stark fired a volley and the light obscured the god's entire field of vision, making him lose Pierce's sight for a second and transferring all his attention to himself. The unfurled mjolnir acted perfectly as a shield and blocked the full force of the volley, but Odinson still couldn't find Pierce's gaze. At that moment, five faint scratches and six smaller and deeper cuts appeared on the god's right arm. This unexpected attack from an unseen enemy came as a complete surprise to Thor and knocked him off balance for only a second, but it was enough for the charge released by Stark to send the god of thunder flying again.
-What did you do? - landing next to Pierce, Stark asked.
-I bled the god. - Pierce showed his bloody palm. On his palm were six small blades covered in blood. Rain himself was breathing heavily, he was not used to using illusions at such speed and range. All of his energy channels were whining after this attack, and his reserve had sagged by 70%.
-What the hell are they made of. - Tony was immediately interested. Considering that his weapon did little damage to the Asgardian he was ready to just claw at the guy and shake out all the answers.
-Vibranium. - Pierce answered calmly.
-It looks like I'm going to have to increase my spending this month. - Said Tony, then added more quietly. -When Pepper sees the bill I'd better be in my best armour.
At that moment the captain finally arrived at the battle. Just at the exit from the thicket of the forest of disgruntled deity was voiced Rogers mentor speech.
-...Since that's the case, stop continuing the pointless fight. Stark put your hands down, Pierce take a normal appearance and Thor if you are not an enemy of the Earthlings put down your hammer. - Said Steve, walking past his comrades-in-arms and standing in front of Odinson.
-You're wasting your time. - Said Tony, putting his iron hand to his helmet.
-"Put the hammer down?! - Thor said angrily, and then the mjolnir became covered with lightning and was launched at the captain. Colliding with the shield of vibranium-adamantium alloy, Thor's weapon generated a force wave that scattered all the participants of the conflict and gave them a mild shock therapy.
-Okay, let's just finish this without dropping the hammers. - Coughing said Stark out from under the trees.
-Supported. - Pierce came up and shook his head. The clash of guns had done some damage to the beast's sensitive hearing, and at the moment its regeneration was actively trying to patch up all the lycan's internal injuries.
The captain and Thor approached the centre of the collision in silence. The Asgardian silently eyed the Earthlings and simply nodded, then focused his gaze on Pierce.
-Mortal you are wounded. - Said Thor, pointing to Rain's side, where a branch of one of the trees was sticking out with blood.
-Fuck. - Pierce said, noticing the foreign object sticking out of him.
