ROMAN'S POV
Three days.
Three long, agonizing days since I had been locked up in this room. A room that felt smaller with every passing hour. I wasn't allowed to move freely, nor was I permitted to leave this confined space. The only interaction I had with the outside world was the occasional visits from the maids who brought my meals three times a day. But even they were nothing more than shadows passing through—I tried asking them questions, but they refused to answer, their lips tightly sealed as if they had been sworn to silence.
It was at that moment that I realized it.
