'Come on, you have been urging me to face this beast; shouldn't you at least give me something to even damage it?' Said Alvin in his heart to the unknown power pulsing through his body—the very power that took away his fear.
Sadly, he got no sort of reply, so he could only grumble under his breath. He could only focus on running as the beast tried to lock on to him and attack.
The Tesslith raised itself with some pained hisses and attacked Alvin with its tail again. But this time Alvin felt more adept and familiar with its moves; he jumped in high in the air with a swift motion.
With a light spin in the air, he slashed down at the incoming tail, "Arghh!"
The blade collided with the scales, producing a clanking sound and sparks. Alvin used all of his strength; his eyes pulsed with an ethereal glow, and the veins bulged all around his arms and neck.
