Sumaya's mind raced. Stay away from her boyfriend? As in… how? Since when had she even been close to Marrok? She barely knew the guy! Was Ulva crazy?
Olivia recovered first, her eyes narrowing. "Excuse me? I think you've got the wrong person," she said, crossing her arms in a challenging stance.
Sumaya nodded in agreement, her expression shifting from surprise to confusion. "Yeah, I don't know where you're getting that idea from, but I haven't even talked to your boyfriend before."
Ulva's sharp eyes flickered with something unreadable, but she scoffed, her voice dripping with disdain. "Don't play dumb. You know what I'm talking about."
Sumaya's brow furrowed in genuine confusion. What is she talking about? The only interaction she had with Marrok was when she accidentally bumped into Ulva yesterday morning, and even then, Marrok had only shouted at her to watch where she was going. Does that also count as getting close to someone's boyfriend?
