Maya struggled to respond, stammering, "Ahemm... Well... Just—just leave this place quickly."
Ash grew even more puzzled by her vague explanation.
"What's going on?"
She looked at him hesitantly, and after a few seconds of uncertainty, the words spilled out, "They all intend to ask you to impregnate them, and then they'll kill you."
He raised an eyebrow, trying to make sense of her hurried explanation.
