Kael knelt down by the panel he'd pulled apart to stop the transport. The orb was still there, though it no longer glowed ever since he'd absorbed its energy.
"Power it back up," Ronin said. "Just…undo whatever you did."
"It's harder than it sounds," Kael shot back, slightly frustrated.
He began to focus his power on the orb. If he couldn't get it started back up, then all of those deaths had been for nothing.
They wouldn't be able to get into the Capitol, and the plan would be ruined.
Kael channeled that need to get the orb powered up again through his fingertips.
Energy shot out, and the orb began to glow again.
Before, when Kael had first found it, the orb had glowed with a greenish purple energy. Now, it was powered only by the gem's blue energy.
The orb began to spin, and the engine cranked to life.
"Alright!" Ronin shouted, clapping Kael on the back. "We're back in business. Everybody on board! Let's get moving before the sun rises!"
