The world around Varek shifted and until he was in an entirely new place.
His tree, his fire, the grass he'd been sitting in–all gone.
The landscape still somehow looked familiar. This was still Selora. He knew that much, at least.
Varek turned his head to the sky and nearly gasped. It was beautiful. A sight beyond even his imagination.
Hundreds, no thousands of stars scattered across the dark blanket of the night. Some were large, and shined with an intensity he'd never seen before, while others were smaller and more distant.
He could've stared at it for hours, but something else grabbed his attention.
Movement.
Massive shapes shifted in the darkness, tall as mountains. Varek couldn't quite make them out, only their silhouettes.
That was when he realized where he was. Why the landscape seemed so familiar.
This was the place he'd spent so many years in, trapped by a curse whose intention was to keep him for eternity.
He was standing in the Titan's Graveyard.
